"I just think it'd be more comfortable than the cramped couch. But you can nap or cuddle with me wherever you'd like. I'm perfectly adaptable." Adrian said with a smile.

A sly grin came to Amaya's face as she got up and took his hand, pulling him up to follow her. "Let's go cuddle in bed then..." She said, leading him towards their bedroom.

Adrian grinned as well. "Does this mean I'm getting my present now?" he asked as he let her pull him to their room.

"May as well since Calista will be out for a while." Amaya said, locking the door behind her before she walked and kissed Adrian deeply.

"Hopefully she's a heavy sleeper." Adrian said as he slipped his hands around Amaya's waist and met her lips.

"Don't worry, she is." Amaya murmured, breaking the kiss for a moment before meeting him once more and slowly moving them back towards the bed.

As they moved back, Adrian just blocked out the rest of the world. Now it was just him and Amaya as he wrapped his wings around her before falling back onto the bed.

About an hour later, Amaya was sleeping happily, cuddled up next to Adrian. She'd had fun, but it had tired her out.

"Best. Present. Ever." Adrian sighed with a blissful smile, an arm still wrapped around Amaya as she slept next to him. "I love you." he whispered as he gave her a soft kiss on the cheek before letting his eyelids fall and joining her in dreamland.

It was another two hours before Calista woke up, but when she did, she found she was alone in the apartment. Going over to Amaya and Adrian's door, she tried to open it, but the lock prevented her from going any further. She started knocking on the door, hoping at least her mom or Adrian were in there.
Amaya woke up at the knocking, rubbing her eyes for a moment before she finally came around. Getting dressed quickly, Amaya slipped out of the room and shut the door behind her, taking care of Calista before she started the night's dinner since it would take a few hours to bake the ham.

"I, uh...I'll clean up the feathers after dinner..." Adrian muttered to Amaya sheepishly once he was dressed and out of the room as well. He hadn't noticed due to the happy high, but when came to later, he managed to spot the large number of feathers he'd sent scattered around the bed.

Amaya nodded in return to Adrian, an amused smile on her face. "That's fine. I just know now that we'll never own a bird." She teased.

"I sing, fly, and occasionally shed feathers. I think you already do." Adrian joked with a smile as he took a seat at the table.

"Well that's why I didn't bother getting a bird." She laughed, taking a seat as well while she waited for the oven to heat up.
