Physical Description: Frailty, thy name is Cetra - barely over 5’ tall, Cetra has pale short hair and always has this appearance of being underfed with similarly pale skin. Her eyes, an almost black shade of blue, are almost eerily large for her face and give her a look more youthful than truth. It is not uncommon to see her with a scrape or a bruise - as she does bruise fairly easily and tends to work harder than her body is ready to follow through on. She has a nasty scar on the side of her forehead from a fight in her early teens. She is weak, not sickly, despite what her appearance may say.
Personality: Cetra will never be recognized out the gate as what she is on a first meeting - she is frail, she bruises easily, and she looks like she could stand to eat more. Certainly, with an appearance like that, she is but a delicate flower, isn’t she? Well-spoken and smart as can be, if Cetra wanted anybody to believe that, it wouldn’t take much effort on her part to play the damsel in distress. In fact, she often is even if she isn’t trying to be. Her intelligence is backed by an iron stubbornness and pride, not wanting to be simply taken care of. She wants to thrive and because she’s trying to keep up with a bar just out of proverbial-hand’s-reach, Cetra won’t just bite off more than she can chew, it doesn’t even fit in her mouth!
But the stubbornness isn’t all bad - when it isn’t getting her in over her head. Cetra gets up every time she is knocked down, willing to try and try again no matter if it makes her a fool. She’d rather be seen a fool, than seen as weak and in need of help. Certainly, she may take longer to finish a task due to being physically weaker than many her own age, but it will be finished on her own power.
Willing, and frankly used to having to, take the longer route to come to the same end, even if it frustrates those around her, Cetra will also use her sharp wits to come up with easier solutions. Though they may still take longer, Cetra has spent much of her like breaking down seemingly monumental tasks to be within her capabilities. She may bite off more than she can chew, but she will wear herself even more ragged to try and prove that it wasn’t too much.

History: Cetra was ready to be born - she came in earlier than expected, and almost left just as quickly. Whatever miracle it was, she’d live to be named, and from there….well, perhaps it was something like thriving. Cetra always was a few steps behind kids her own age when it came to the large milestones, though she made up for it with a sharp alertness that betrayed a wisdom that fueled stubbornness. She’d not be left behind without a fight.
Perhaps she got that from her mother - a wild, spirited woman who never claimed Cetra’s father as her husband. That wasn’t to say he wasn’t present in the young woman’s life, but it was clear that her two parents treated her vastly differently. Where to Ilyra, her mother, Cetra was a smart, capable young thing, to Trecet she was delicate and to be taken care of. Most seemed to believe Trecet had it right and Cetra found herself being coddled. Fights that wouldn’t have been broken up elsewhere were quickly diffused by grownups - and earned her the ire of other kids her own age as being ‘favored’.
Ire only made for nastier fights, one which resulted in Cetra being shoved and bashing the side of her head open. Ilyra, furious and convinced it was Trecet’s fault for convincing everybody her daughter was delicate would relocate to Ista Hold with a then-10 Cetra, where she would gain an interest in glassworking at the local crafthall. Ilyra, content to make her living there with her daughter nearby, would support her child in her pursued craft. When everything was considered fragile, she certainly wasn’t. Cetra loved it.
At the age of 16, she’d walk the tables to become a Journeyman, and move back home with her mother and a new baby sister, Elya. When she was 18, she was invited by a Master crafter to join them appraising some wares at High Reaches Hold - and where she in turn would be appraised by a young blue dragon, sniffed out as a potential dragonrider. While allowed to get her affairs in order first (her current task and saying farewell to her mother and sister), Cetra would accept the search and come to High Reaches Weyr shortly before her 19th nameday.
Other: Has a gold firelizard named Milefore. At this point would have only stood for the Horse Clutch + any NPC ones since then
