Heehee... well it was half homemade. ^_^ This year I made gingerbread with lemon icing...

Edit: Nova, I thought registration ends on January 30th... or I'm just crazy. It could've been December 30th... sweatdrop

First prereg ends on December 31st. (Postmarked by.) Second prereg ends on February 16th. I'd just rather get it now and make absolutely sure I have a place, 'cause attendance is capped at 3000 due to the size of the Thunderbird.

Rooms were already all rented out when my mom went to try and reserve one, so she registered a room in the Mariott across the street (which I like better anyway, less dark, more comfortable, if a bit small.)

I still don't know if my friend Dan's coming, too, 'cause he has to wait till after the holiday break to see what his financial situation is like. If he's good, we might just end up driving my car up (and giving me an anxiety attack in the process, I *hate* driving in cities. I can barely handle Lincoln, sometimes.)

Gingerbread has to be my favourite cookie... followed by chocolate chip...

Edit: I see. Somehow my university's anime club president managed to write off our expenses as a "cultural field trip." All we have to do is present what we learned in the convention to some faculty members.

And I can sympathize with driving. I can drive but I prefer the bus. It saves gas and keeps me from the road (although I'm not a bad driver) at the sacrifice of convenience.

Dan, the aforementioned friend, thought I was nuts when I mentioned I was considering Greyhound, and went all adorably older-brother protective of me.

Never mind I'm a big girl (literally) and can probably take care of myself. >_>; I'm just iffy on the whole not being able to find a return schedule online thing. Getting to Minneapolis is fine and grand, as is staying for a weekend...but I kinda have to get home for class. biggrin
