Little omni shook his head. "Just you Momma..." and the little guy hugged her more closely. "Daddy fall down and no get back up, and then daddy stop talking..." Little Omni was describing the death of his creator.

"Oh dear..." Molly said. She felt sorry for the boy and hugged him closer. "What's your name sweety?" she asked with a smile.

"Omni..." He replied as he snuggled into the embrace. He felt safe in those arms. He felt like nothing could ever harm him so long as she held him.

"My little Omni." Molly said and hugged him. She couldn't abandon him and she couldn't have kids herself so why not adopt now. "What would Richard say?" she asked herself softly and was worried he would be mad.

Little omni enjoyed the embrace and looked around. Heis eyes were scanning the environment for anything technological that he could possibly take the form of. Then he saw the signals of a device on a counter. "What's that momma?" and he pointed to it.

"Huh?" Molly asked and looked at her computer. "That's a computer sweety." she said with a smile.

"Com-pu-ter?" and then he climbed up onto the table and his body began to fold up and change shap and colors until He became second of his momma's computer.
Then the computer started opening and unfolding, becoming a four armed humanoid robotic child with computer key abs and pecs. metal and plastic armor plating, two mechanical legs similar to those of a werewolf, and backward facing armored blades on the shoulders and upper back, and a long thin mechanical tail. the head had two bright blue eyes and a face that was very human like, only mechanical.
"Computer good..." Little Omni said as he looked at his new form. He was almost 7 inches shorter than he had been, but because of his form the materials and mass was used up.

Molly gasped as she looked at him. "Omni? You can change your form?" she asked.

"Yes I can Momma," and he giggled happily before slowly climbing down onto his momma's lap and snuggled. Even with his new form he still felt safest in his momma's embrace. She was his hero.

"I...I..ummmmm............" Little omni became nervous at that question. "I jumped on." And he looked down in shame. He knew he'd done wrong.

Molly sighed but didn't seem mad. "Well, I'm going to have to talk to he captain about letting you stay." she said.

Little Omni looked up at Molly and asked, "You won't let the cap-ta-in make me leave will you momma? it's a loooooooonnnnnnnnnnnng way down........." And he looked worried. He was afriad of heights to an extent, and a fall from this high up could kill him. He tried to change the subject, "Momma, dis there someone you like?" it may have seemed a strange question, but Omni was trying to find out if he had a new daddy or future daddy.

Molly smiled and hugged him. "Don't worry, I'll make him let you stay." she said. She then blushed at his next question. "Actually yes. His name is Richard and he's mechanical like you." she said with a smile.

This new piece of information made little Omni look up at molly rapidly and excitedly. He stood up slowly and looked up at his momma's eyes, "Can we go see him? I wanna meet him!" and Omni seemed to be extremely excited. He might have a new daddy, and what was more he was mechanical just like him. The very thought made omni want to jump up and down and run in circles around his momma.
