...Actually, most of the Eagles I've known (including myself) didn't actually do Cubs... just went directly into Boy Scouts. But it's too bad you didn't stick with it longer; in most cases, you get more freedom when you get to be older in the troop. smile

You can't join Boy Scouts proper if you're a girl, but you can be an Explorer Scout. A fine distinction, but still. smile

It actually IS humorous, Save... especially since some of the very best Scouts I know, all Eagle Scouts, are also gay. smile ...All very much "don't ask, don't tell", of course, and NONE of them would DREAM of being inappropriate with the youth. (Yes, aretoo gets STEAMED no, PISSED OFF, frankly, at the recurring belief that gays are *****)

GRM: yeah i was in navy cadets too, but there's another version (it's like air cadets, only on water) .. for 12-18's. i was one of those dorks. mrgreen (so yeah there's navy and sea cadets, in every province. the one nearest you i think would have been RCSCC barrie.)
