But if we're RPing a world where mermaids exist, I think it's pretty fricking plausible that we can have a couple of shocked, scared guys swim towards the shore they came from, as opposed to the one they were going to when this mermaid suddenly made them shipwreck.)) (((Lol Kitty has fangs *hugs* you are just too cute...and feisty. XD )))

((OOC: I found out that my school's new Drama director plays favourites and doesn't know what she's doing. Unfortunately, I found that out after I auditioned for her play and didn't get in (that was when my self-esteem took a dive. Not to sound conceited, but I can sing. I really can. And half the leads she chose? Can't.) I mean, the best actress in our school didn't even get a role. But all the director's favourites got leads. I'm considering finding a script, gathering all the good people that got cheated by the director, and staging our OWN play. Anarchy! Anarchy!
...*sighs* Whew. That was very cathartic. I feel better.))

Lucian nodded as he heard what Joshua said. “I bet you were more shocked. She is beautiful…” He looked around and smiled at seeing the people swimming away from the island. “I think all is well now, you don’t have to worry anymore.” He rubbed Joshua’s back to comfort him.

"That's good." Joshua rubbed away the last remnants of his tears. He relaxed, feeling Lucian's hand on his back. His eyes closed, enjoying the feeling. 'I'm sorry I acted like that.' Joshua felt the need to apologize for his behavior.
