Physical Description: M’ahre likes food - and especially sweet things - and it shows on his figure. He’d be well at home in a Strongman competition, not sculpted musculature but absolutely strongly built. At 6’7”, he’s hardly the tallest man on Pern and his dark hair and eyes on any other face would make him almost forgettable. Unfortunately, he is extremely memorable - and not because he is handsome. The skin on one side of his upper lip - if you could call that area a lip - seems to twist uncomfortably and has taken part of his nose with it, exposing his teeth at the best of times and making him look almost...monstrous.
Personality: M'ahre is communicative and forward about his feelings - what he wants, if something rubs him the wrong way. However, his interest scale is 'not interested', 'normal interest level' and then at least half of it exists as 'Absolutely loves something with all of his interest and heart and will revolve his life around these things. To the neglect of other things. He also has very little interest in helping people who are not himself, or someone that is claimed as ‘his’ - his dragon, a romantic partner, his child.
In addition, M'ahre likes things a particular way and will gladly fuss over things to make them perfect. No detail is too small for him to care about.
That he has a face only a mother could maybe try to love has left him painfully aware of his appearance and quick to infer cruelty where it is not intended. Self-reliant, he is perfectly fine being on his own. He has a natural sense to solve his own problems and knows how to self motivate and make plans. However, this has made him all to ready to pushed away from Weyrs and most other people. M'ahre isn't the biggest chatterbox and prefers to be away from other people.

History: Makhare came out of the womb a little funny in the face - notably so. Fortunately, his loving parents - Makaline and Harelo - didn’t flinch in the face (hurr) of their less-than-perfect child. Unfortunately, not everybody in their little Hold was as kind about it - some more viciously than others and very quickly Makhare learned to play alone, do chores alone, and cry alon- nope, mama wouldn’t allow for that! While there were some who would look past his face and come to be rather frequent playmates, puberty quickly sent most of them away - to distant places to apprentice in crafts.
At 12 he would follow not far after to the Bakercraft Hall, where he’d hide his face behind a mask under the guise of sanitation for food handling. After 5 turns of learning to cook - and going out on his own after walking the tables - Makhare was unexpectedly Searched to Southern Weyr for a clutch on the sands mothered by an unaffiliated Queen. Candidacy was a short experience as the young man was at the Weyr long enough to learn the basics of what to expect.
He would impress from that clutch, an ambling blue who roamed the sands - and right into his siblings - as though not quite there in the moment before he flopped on one side at Makhare’s feet with a sweet trill. While there would be next to no flowery words exchanged, his rainbow touch was like hands stroking his face lovingly, urging him closer until the young man would scoop his dragon - his Mjesecath - up into his arms.
They would not remain at Southern for long. There was little need to learn to do more than fly and between safely before they headed out to begin what would be a fruitful travel through Pern, bringing their unusual cooking fare from place to place and taking in what was local to each place. While an excellent salesman of his trade, M’ahre never put down roots. That he somehow picked up a pair of travelling companion was unplanned, but he’s found it pleasant. The first, a greenrider, and the second a young child less than a turn on - his own.
His daughter, obviously not that of his companion, has slowed down travel significantly and when asked about her mother (who appears to not be his greenriding companion)…..he doesn’t answer those questions. The idea of settling down somewhere safer for his kid is one he is still struggling with.
Other: Rumor has it M’ahre’s daughter may not even be his - biologically.
Greenrider referenced in his history is a currently unwritten character in the works!

Physical Description: Despite his length, Mjesecath is slim and elegant to behold. While this makes him somewhat delicate, in the air he is a spectacle to behold, all grace and majesty.
Personality: Hello, is anybody home? Those who linger too close to Mjesecath most the time will find there is a sort of sleepiness that exudes from the blue at all times and Faranth, it may just be tempting to yawn a little bit. While laid back may not be how most describe him from afar, he certainly doesn’t seem to be bothering himself with much of anything.
With his muted demeanor, it is difficult to tell when something has actually caught Mjesecath’s attention - especially if you are that thing. While he does frequently rise to chase, he is not inclined to spin words of fancy, or even say much at all. Most communication with the blue is in short, unfinished, sentences or brushes of thought against another. Even his rider will have some difficulty in clear communication with him - though there will be endless amounts of it.
Unfortunately, with how relaxed Mjesecath is, he will not be inclined to fight for the things he wants, whether to keep or to push away, without a strong push - which of course, will be hard to know if is needed. Those who want a warrior or a bard who will spin them sweet words is better off looking elsewhere.
