SOUI
And just like that, Soui was being left alone on the sands. Healers had come and gathered Orri while Dehka remained at her side, but now someone was here and yelling at him and - ye shells he was wounded too. She wanted to yell at him for moving like he was and, well, she did.
"Stop it, both of you!" Her words were steady despite the tremors she was feeling, and her eyes flicked up and down over the massive gash on the man's chest. "Yanking someone around like that with a chest wound is just asking for trouble, not to mention a possible infection. And Dehka..." She trailed off, looking at him holding her sleeve to his face. It was positively soaked with blood and he needed help now, lest he lose his eye. "Both of you go, to the healers right now." Soui sounded commanding but she was terrified, not wanting to be left alone on strange sands in a Weyr that was not her home.
But she also couldn't ignore their injuries, allow them to argue while in pain or try anything with the dragonet's call. "Please, just go. It's best if you do." She pointed with her hand towards where they should be, willing them to get help as strongly as she could. And yet, at the back of her mind?
Don't leave me here.

Oh bother, a lazy bronze calling all the boys over. He was beautiful, kind of a greeny-bronze color. Idly he wondered who would end up with him. But while Maddeckhad heard the pronouncement loud and clear, he had more pressing matters to attend like help those with the most desperate injuries.
The healer had also heard a boy calling for help, while he was attending to someone's minor wounds. Ionan was bloody; with him were a shocky looking boy (Rhyin) and a girl (Tizzy) in pretty bad shape. He hurried over with a stretcher under his arm and set it aside on the sand. "Are you hurt? And is your friend injured?" he asked Ionan, referring to Rhyin, while kneeling beside the girl. He had seen them all around. That was the trouble with injuries; the disquiet and the chill of fear for people he recognized but maybe didn't know.
Meanwhile, he looked at Tizzy's injuries, focusing his administrations on cleaning the wound and stopping the blood flow. When she was stabalized, he asked one of them to help lift her and place her on the stretcher, then help him carry the stretcher.

Ielin - High Reaches Candidate
Oh? Ielin glances back at Slytherin rolling back into the sand curiously. Come to him? Even with the events that had happened with his bronze brother, he found himself moving out from his space. A few steps closer, to join the line that had acquiesced to the first hatched’s call.
Yet firebolt’s sudden appearance made him try to back out of the egg’s path, stumbling if slightly in the sand.

Tuelarua - High Reaches Candidate
Friend? She supposes they were.. Tuela hadn’t made many since arriving at High Reaches, aside from the searchriders who had found her. But she’s quite happy for it. “Nice to meet you, too.”
She’s distracted from her conversation with Farellen as the first dragon to hatch had made a call out to the candidates to line up. While she was basely aware that bronzes didn’t choose girls.. Could it hurt to line up as well? He hadn’t specified. In the very least, she could get a better vantage point to see the eggs, see some of the other hatchlings up close--especially the languid bronze.
She glances at her newly met.. acquaintance, smiling a bit. “I’d.. like to see him a bit up closer, plus the eggs more clearly.” She’s rather short, so being able to see would be nice. “You want to come along with me?” Tuela’s already taking a step towards the line, curious.
But firebolt’s sudden appearance made her beam, feeling the satisfaction rolling off the egg that she recalled visiting and giggling in turn.

Talis and Holleth "No s**t," she snorted, though as harsh as her tone was, there was relief in it, too. He was conscious and talking - good. "Waste of a perfectly terrible bedsheet." More relief when the healers came, and she was able to hand him off to people who'd actually be able to do something. It was certainly a detour from what she was supposed to be doing, but Holleth had no objections to delaying breakfast for a little while longer; how could he ask His to be anything other than herself, when he loved her so? He could never expect or ask her to walk away, when everything that made her His meant that she would never, ever turn her back on such suffering. Even the spikes of emotion - the shock, the anger, the anxiety - while felt, never overtook her, never endangered him.
Once again, blue and purple eased the other colors from his faceted eyes as he watched her in adoration after they had shadowed the boy to the Healers. She lingered, carefully out of the way, for a few more moments before giving a brief nod. There was nothing else to be done here, and it was time to see to her blue. Her blue. She traced her fingers along the lines of his head, and together they turned to make their way to the feeding area where the rest of the Weyrlings were gathered. With Holleth the picture of grace beside her, Talis couldn't help but draw herself up in spite of her bloodied robes and the tiredness that came on the heels of a rush of adrenaline.

orri
Watching Kahbrohm insert himself, Dehka worry over the injuries, Soui's shout just as Orri was being dragged away--he felt sick. He should have been over there trying to mitigate the damage, to stand up for his friend and for the small girl, to be there. Not get torn up by a green at the absolute wrong time and pulled away like a sick child forced to swallow a hard pill. And--shards, now Slytherin was calling for the boys? A needle of anxiety pierced him. Hyglath said he wouldn't be too far to find his if they were there, but--!
Hyglath! Hyglath, tell them I'll be right there! he all but shouted at the bronze, teeth grit as the healers worked on his back. These scratches aren't bad, so I won't be long! I won't leave them!
(Even though, technically, he already had.)
