Kahbrohm
When Soui spoke up, Kahbrohm immediately turned on her - he'd lost some of his very limited patience for the 'pleasant thoughts', and after suffering such grand disappointment, the edges of his temper were absolutely flaring - "You, shut up, I don't need your lecture," he snapped - only a few steps below actual rage. Then, he turned back to Dehka, grabbing his brother's face roughly to look it over with a scowl.
There was no gentleness to be found here.
"I can't tell if that dragon," which had it been? He didn't know, "got your eye, but you sharding idiot, you should have gone to have it looked at immediately," it was very hard to tell if he was actually worried, or just over the fact that he shared a father with this boy.
And of course, the bronze in the middle of the sands was - well, he wasn't sure if it was playing a game or up to something else with it's line, but he shoved Dehka roughly towards the healers. "Fine. Maybe they can patch one of us up quickly enough for that dragon to get the look it wants."
----
Kinyegele
Having seemingly settled a great deal now, Kinye looked towards the line assembling off near Slytherin. This...was like the bronze on the beach, right? She glanced now towards Crucio, Amortentia, and Imperio, pondering if the most delicate of that trio was now settled enough for them to venture safely across the sands.
Then, she looked up at Fisher. "Do you....want to get in the line?" It was absolutely okay if not.
----
Juhvek
Juhvek could see the line forming, but was still getting patched up. So for the time being, he watched, pondering if the bronze would have selected his long before his scratches and bleeding had been finished with.

Saekagi
Wasn't sure what to make of the polite request to form a line, save to give a wary sidelong look to the boy who'd taken quite a scratching on his behalf, shrug mutely and move to get in line, helping his new friend if the other boy was interested in joining him. IT seemed potentially less hazardous at least, to go with a nicely worded request and Faranth knew he did not want to see another highly offended baby, either of the murderous or pale variety, though by the time he managed to cross the sands, the bronze had his head under his wing and a frustrated sort of petulance about him.
"...Sorry..." He added, warily. The dragons partner had to be out there somewhere, he was so... stable. Hellaku maybe. For himself he didn't dare imagine, everything had gone so wrong when he'd been so damn sure last time.
Firebolt though... he had to give that one points for cheek, but another dragon could get away with it.

Dynzrak
The bronze seemed quite put out now.... apparently unimpressed with those who had stepped forward so far. He sighed to himself, mulling it over. To step forward and be rejected would sting, certainly... but staying back and playing arrogant might cost him. After a moment, Dynzrak sighed again, but drew himself up confidently and started to approach. An egg had tried to bowl over some of the approaching candidates... but he had his eyes fixed on the bronze.

Dehka
The steady command from the small girl was enough to make him straighten at once, hunching his shoulders as though utterly abashed. She spoke sense.... but with the three of them injured, she'd be by herself. His teeth immediately caught his lower lip, worrying over it... and that was when Kahbrohm snapped at Soui. "Stop it." He interjected, moving as though to shield the girl from his brother. "She's just trying to help, Kah--" And then his face was grabbed, his teeth clinking shut with shock.
Still, Dehka held himself very still as his brother scowled at him, having the sense to look ashamed of himself. "Orri was really hurt--" Still was. "--I couldn't just leave them." He finished. He nearly fell again as he was shoved, glancing over his right shoulder so he could still see both Soui and Kahbrohm.... before nodding.
Alright. Fine. They'd get taken care of, and then they'd go see him. Together. That seemed fair...

Calla
Impressions crackled in front of her, but Calla was still off to the side, near the far edges of the HP clutch. It had oddly protected her before, but now with so many taking care of others, she seemed perhaps more isolated. When the thoughts of the Slytherin bronze invaded her mind, she cocked her head to the side, curiosity piqued. But Calla really did not like being told with to do. It had caused her problems as a kid... and a teen... and always. The girl could be incredibly rule-following, as long as it served her own purposes and led her to her own goal.
She had been raised in High Reaches, had grown up on some more antiquated beliefs about the "correct" genders for dragons. But she didn't believe them, not personally. Her childhood was spent beating the boys at most things -- if anything, she challenged herself to do anything people said she couldn't. To ride a bronze would provide her a smug satisfaction that she loved. For a moment, she envisioned it, flying over High Reaches Hold on a bronze, a mental middle-finger expressed with her proud stance at anyone who had doubted her, or mocked her dream of being a rider. Then her mother's face came into view, and Calla retreated. She didn't want her to hurt her mother, but she would, if it meant achieving her dream. Even if it would be painful. Most important things were.
So it wasn't her gender that kept her feet planted. It was the unnatural feeling of playing into someone else's hand, be it human or dragonet. The only hand Calla liked to play into was her own. She didn't want to line up with the rest, to be like all of the rest, only to be passed over and made to look like an idiot. The only thing worse than looking stupid was looking weak, and Calla felt like stepping into that line might bring her both distasteful emotions at once.
--------------------- Ryah & Blue Kairinth
In the Stands, Ryah watched an adorable egg roll right into the line forming in front of the Slytherin bronze. Hey, Kai, look -- there's an eggroll on the Sands. A rimshot may or may not have sounded.
A what?
Ryah shrugged and went back to watching with interest, happy the blood-and-ichor-shed seemed to be over and wondering if eggrolls were a thing in Pern (probably not).
