Ⓡⓔⓜⓨ nodded when the boy said she worked at the apothecary... with a cute accent... "Y-yes. Slug and Jiggers... My parents own it." Well... at least her voice wasn't awful? When the tall boy started walking, Remy slid her arms around his, staying close as possible to avoid the rain. Each time the thunder roared or lightening struck, the girl would jump and freeze for a few seconds, then continue her tiny strides. Soon, they were at the door.

ஒஒஒஒஒSteffi blinked as Tobi quoted something weird then ran off on them. "Well okay then...." She muttered, toying with a strand of her hair and returning her attention to Luke. She laughed at his objection to more running and nodded her head. "Well I can promise I won't get caught doing something and make you run some more." She said with a smirk. She rarely ever got caught doing anything she wasn't supposed to be doing. The night she lost her eye was one of the few exceptions to that.

ஒஒஒஒஒ"I was out here getting some money for supplies for next year... but we can do whatever now. Wander Diagon Alley and harrass all the Gryffindors we see? Or wander London? Or um... I dunno if we really run out of things to do we can go back to orphanage so you can see all the joys your missing out on with that family of yours." She teased, chuckling at the thought. She would never admit it, but she was kind of jealous of all the kids that actually got adopted. She had no idea what it was like to have a family, but it had to be better than that God awful orphanage. She had always been taking care of her younger siblings though, so there had never been a chance for her to be adopted... and lets face it with her eye now and her age and her attitude that chance went from 10% to 0. She was perfectly fine though. She always was.

✖✖✖✖Rei chuckled at Alaric's words and lay his head against the older boy's chest. "What? I'm not allowed to kick you around anymore?" He joked, smiling brightly and tilting his head back to look up at the taller boy. He was of course mostly kidding. It wasn't like he enjoyed hurting Alaric.... he just totally deserved it sometimes, and Rei knew he deserved 90% of the punches Alaric threw at him. He continued to smile though and glanced around the crowded street. "So.... since I accosted you here.... where are we going now?" He asked curiously. He wasn't much to hungry so he didn't see the point in going to the Leaky Cauldron now that they had found each other in the streets. Of course, he'd be happy with Alaric where ever they decided to go. He smiled at the thought. They could actually go places together now.... without trying to kill each other..... hopefully.

ஒஒஒஒஒ"Fine by me." She said with a smirk. She had a feeling Luke wasn't just going to the orphanage for memory's sake. "Just try not to scare the idgits that run the place.... too much okay?" She laughed at her own comment and pushed herself to her feet. She couldn't help but find the idea of those people scared until they were ghostly pale hilarious. They deserved it. They had no idea how to care for children.... and all the money donated to the orphanage went straight to their pockets. It wasn't like the orphans were barely being fed already or anything... right? She rolled her eyes at the thought. It was ridiculous. If she couldn't 'make' money she just went without food to make sure her little brothers got fed enough. She sighed and climbed back up the wall they had been using as protection from the elderly and held out a hand for Luke. "To the most wonderful place on Earth?" She asked with a smirk. 'Oh the joys of being an orphan.'

Alaric shrugged, chuckling softly at Rei's sarcasm. The Gryffindor was happy that they could start moving away from all that now, and hopefully go towards something much, much better. He tried to think of an answer to Rei's question, and all that came to mind was a song or too that applied to the situation. One of them Eve had written. As long as we're together does it matter where we go? Alaric shrugged again and slid his hand behind Rei's back, turning the boy with him as he started to walk.
"I don't know. Want to get some shopping out of the way?"
He didn't care at all, but maybe Rei did.

Lyza stepped onto the street, parasol lifted against the weather. Why had she left her home? Why was she killing herself this way. It was summer break for Hogwarts students, so she knew it was very probable that both of her children were here. In fact, as she spoke, she saw her daughter being escorted by some boy. Had her daughter grown that much? It seemed only days ago that the woman was holding her daughter for the last time, trying to save her from her father. Than again, she had watched her son grow from infant into school-boy, and take each and every lashing his father had ever given him. What had become of him? Was he loved and cared for? Did he have friends and a family? A warm bed and nice food? That was the base of her wants. Sure, she longed for her children to come home to her, but they had a nice family, and she was... not fit to care for them. That's what they had told her... before they took her Erin and her kids away. She hadn't seen the damage he'd done, but she knew it had to be severe enough to come after them. That fact alone informed the woman that her babies had gone somewhere safe. They had people who loved them enough to follow after them. She, on the other hand, had sat by and let the man beat her children, and herself. Looking back, she would have tried differently. She would have tried harder to protect her kids. Now, the man was gone off to who-knows-where. Something told the woman he was dead, but her heart didn't want to believe it. All through their marriage, she had seen him as the tender romantic she'd fallen in love with, not the brutal drunk he had become. Deep brown eyes were filled with tears as she thought about her children. They had grown so very much, and Remittue was with a boy! God, only a matter of time before she would be reading about their marriages in the news, since there was no chance either one would invite her.

Chloe still wasn't sure what instrument she should learn to play. "What do you think I should learn to play?" she asked her mother. "I don't know dear but can we try for something small." Mary Jane told her. Their house wasn't big enough for something massive. "Don't worry mom the biggest instrument I'm thinking of is a guitar." she told her. 'Flute... Violin or Guitar...' Chloe thought maybe guitar. "Well you can only pick one." she told her daughter. "I know." she said as she walked down the street to the music shop.

✖✖✖✖Rei rolled his eyes at the chuckle but smiled at Alaric anyways. He leaned into the older boy's touch. He was still trying to fathom how things had turned out so well. Yesterday he had been thinking of ways to just forget about Alaric and move on. He had thought it was near impossible to have any semblance of a relationship with the boy when they were always fighting so much. Yet here they were walking together, wrapped in eachother's arms as if everything that had happened before didn't exist. Part of Rei was still contemplating the idea that this was a dream and he'd wake up with no Alaric and no happiness. And part of him would still be okay if that was the truth, because at least he would have had a few hours of happiness in his own mind.


✖✖✖✖Rei shrugged at Alaric's suggestion. "I'm good with anything." He said simply. And it was true. He would go anywhere with Alaric at the moment. As long as they were together, he would be happy. It all seemed so perfect. To good to be true really. It was real, and that was fantastic, but it made Rei wonder if this was just the eye of the storm. What if in a few months or years, everything would become so much worse than it had been before. That's how things usually ended up working for Rei, so it wasn't hard to imagine. He hoped that wouldn't happen, but still it was quite possible. Especially with him and Alaric. It was how they had worked thus far, so why would that suddenly change now?

Alaric smiled and shrugged for what must have been the tenth time, and walked with Rei towards one of the clothing stores. He had almost picked the place at random then.
"I think sock-buying is appropriate then," Alaric grinned jokingly. Despite the hole eating away at his insides from the death of Raphael, Alaric felt so happy he thought he would burst. It all seemed so sudden. It was so sudden. But he thought, weren't all the best things in life?

✖✖✖✖Rei walked quietly beside Alaric. Sock buying.... He chuckled and shook his head, rolling his eyes at the older boy and cuddling into his side quite happily. If someone had asked him a few years ago if he had ever expected to end up here, with a boy, having told him basically everything, and not running away from that very truth..... Rei would have laughed right there in their faces. Rei Owens.... trusting someone? It had to be the biggest joke in the world.... right?


✖✖✖✖ But here he was.... and he did... he trusted Alaric. It was such a strange thought for him to have. Trusting someone..... he didn't even know it was possibly for him. He sighed and smiled. He really needed to just stop thinking. He was going to ruin the moment for himself if he kept thinking. It was all so sudden and and so wonderful. He never expected it. He never would have guessed it. He couldn't understand it..... Rei shook his head slowly. He didn't need to understand it. He just needed to live it and enjoy it.... while it lasted. Because who knew how long it would last? Nothing good ever lasted in his life. Ever.

Once the strange feeling stopped Alice and Jasper opened their eyes. They were now in Diagon Alley and they were both delighted to be there. Of course the feeling of appariting wasn’t something either of them enjoyed. ‘I’m glad that’s over…’ Jasper thought as he looked over at Alice. She smiled over at Jasper as if everything was perfectly alright. “I take it you didn’t mind you know…” Jasper asked her. “It was alright.” She told him. “I guess you would rather never do that again.” Alice asked him. He simply nodded. He didn’t mind it but it wasn’t his all-time favourite way of going places.

“So what are we going to do first?” Alice asked with excitement. She just really wanted to shop which was normal for the nine year old. Jasper just shook his head like she didn’t already know. Or maybe she didn’t but she always seemed to act like she did. Then again nobody knew about Alice’s gift except for him they didn’t really want to let it get out in fear of rejection. Then again did they really have to worry about that when it came the Lancaster’s they were magically gifted so maybe Alice wasn’t so different or unusual then they thought?
