Finishing her trap set up Mizori ran a hand thru her hair as she gave a small look back towards Jedar's lab area. As she had not gone anywhere further then the front of the lab she could only hear the echo of his voice and Morrison's. Turning back around Mizori headed back up the stairs slowly, she cared little for the whispers of the two and would do as she had planned to and keep the criminals from Zelara's cage. "How much time till they arrive here?" Mizori muttered getting to the top of the stairs and leaned against the wall looking out for a moment.

Reaching out and grabbing Zalera Joe nodded as the guards were petrified. Moving inwards as quickly and quietly as he could. With Vincent taking out the guards the direction of the room was mostly clear as he kept hidden as best he could. His partner who was coming with him could likely take the guards out as he kept a steady pulse of echo location like ripples going to feel where the guards were at ahead.

Skye ran after Joe once the door had vanished. Two guards were taken care off and one was left in the back of the room. She flicked her wrist and a pillar of ice jutted out from the wall and knocked the third guard out. A pool of water caught the guard and laid him gently off to the side to keep things quiet. Once they were taken care of, she headed towards the doorway in the back and looked to Joe to see where the next set of guards were.

As the guard was knocked out Joe moved past him there movement thru the building quick and quiet for the time being. "It is just ahead" Joe said back to Skye as they turned a corner coming into vision of the doorway and the woman leaning against the entrance of it. "By Odin" Joe muttered to himself they were in full view of the dryad they had fought before under the sea.She had yet to notice them yet and her view from the look of it had been placed towards the floor giving them an opening. Pulling his mace from it's holster Joe flung the weapon towards her trying to knock the woman unconscious so they would be able to proceed. The mace struck home as it hit Mizori square in the chest and pushed her into the stairwell and out of sight the sound of her body hitting a wall all that was evident of the force of the blow. "Twas the strike to much" Joe asked standing up slowly as he held his hand out awaiting his maces return.

Having exited the lab for the most part and put up the traps she could do with what little live material she could find Mizori stood at the top of the staircase. She still did not feel quite like herself and a wave of nausea had stopped her for a moment as she attempted to quell it. "إيلاء الاهتمام ل محيطك . كنت في خطر ." a voice whispered in Mizori's mind as she placed a hand on her head trying to run thru the languages she knew to decipher what she heard. As she looked up tho Joe's mace came in full view as her eyes widened in shock and time seemed to slow down around her. "حتى تسمع صوتي مرة أخرى وسوف يكون بمثابة الدرع الخاص بك في أوقات الحاجة ." the voice seemed to call out in her mind as around her body just before the strike dark tendrils cover her. The area where the mace was about to strike was layered rapidly protecting the dryad as the blow came and knocked her off her feet and into the stairwell nearly to the bottom floor. She struck the ground floor hard as she came to a rest now at the front of Jedar's lab the brunt of the attack absorbed in the tendrils that lay around her now rotten on the ground.

Nick nodded and entered with Vincent, making his way toward's Zalera's door, shooting guards with his now silenced pistol and taking care not to make too much noise. "Lead on." He whispered, making sure to keep an eye on their flank as he waited for Vincent to take point.

((Sorry, still in a bit of a creative slump...excuse me if this isn't much.))

"Maybe just a bit." Skye said when Joe asked if he struck to hard. From how the dryad was here, the siren must be guarding Zalera's door. It seems that their plans changed a little, but the two white users won't be affect by her song at the very least. She started walking slowly and cautiously towards the staircase that lead down, holding onto her crystal trident at the ready.

Muzet tapped her foot on the ground, wondering what more she could do to prepare. The guards outside by the doorway into the room would most likely not be able to do much. She raised a hand and held it towards the entrance. A patch of ice on the walls started forming and moving down towards the outside before forming a decoration above the entryway. Muzet then brought up a pane of ice besides her and she was able to see whatever would be coming towards her.

Moving with Skye, Joes mace returned to him as they made it to the top of the stairs. At the bottom the dryad still lay around her something lay but the crack in the ground evident of the force she had hit it with. It didn't look like she was conscious from how she lay as Joe took the front moving down the stairs slowly. "Pray that this is not the day I have laid down a life" Joe muttered gripping his mace tightly as he got to the bottom of the stairs. From the quickness of the strike it would seem like they had not yet been discovered. "Stay behind skye" Joe said moving towards the Dryad slowly only getting close enough to be able to see that she was still breathing. An sigh of relief escaped his lips at the realization he had infact not killed her with his strike as she still drew breath. "She yet lives" Joe called back to Skye.

Jedar raised an eyebrow as he looked towards the door. "Hmm....they are rather quick..." He said as he sighed. "I gotta start you up sooner than I thought..."

Evan's eyes shot open as he gasped as his body glowed purple. "F-Father...now!!!"

Zalera's eyes began glowing. "Hurry up and rush the lab you clod!I've got a chance to revert the mental damage done to Evan!" He commanded as he grunted and clenched his teeth. "Though this connection is very limited. I must be closer to him!!"

"You will wish you had killed this body" a voice came from no where as a bundle of roots suddenly slammed into Joe knocking him back and past Skye. Slowly moving Mizori got back to her feet as dark thorns slowly began to cover her body. "You will go no further" Mizori yelled as she swung her arms dark thorns shooting out towards Joe and Skye. Before she finished the roots she had laid earlier behind the door to Jedar's lab closed behind her the same dark thorns sprouting over it. "Your kind knows no sanctity for nature. It shall be eradicated completely so that nature can flourish" the dryad called as she started walking towards the two.

'You're always quick to put yourself on the front lines.' Skye thought as Joe told her to stay behind. She didn't know exactly why he does what he does, but she didn't like seeing him get hurt either if his intent was to protect others. With the urgency in Zalera's voice, she started heading down the steps before stopping when she heard the dryad's voice. Then Joe was knocked back behind her. Skye glanced back to see if he was okay before turning her attention back on the green executive. She held her trident out in front and a thick wall of ice stopped the dark thorns. "Despite what you think of us, we rather not have to kill anyone." Skye said to Mizori as she put her hand on the wall and had ice spread to try and reach the doorway where the roots blocked. If she could open a path, then one of them could at least try to get Zalera through and help Evan. As Mizori walked closer to them, Skye kicked the ice wall she made and had it tumble down the stairs towards the girl.

"A weakness that you will come to regret" Mizori said looking towards the ice coming down towards her. Jumping back Mizori ran her hand over the wall as the ice like it had done the last time against skye melted at the dryads touch just before hitting the wall holding them off from getting past her. Raising a hand up as she swung her arm as dark tendrils extended from it slamming into the ice that was falling and slamming it into the wall. "You see heroes. While you would rather not kill" Mizori called as she held her hand out the tendrils slowly forming her bow. "I have been shown that all life will return to nature eventually. So your deaths will do nothing but to feed the plants that humanity so tries to destroy" Mizori said pulling an arrow back as she aimed it towards skye. Something seemed....wrong with the dryad since she had been injected with what ever Jedar had used on her earlier, her personality and ever her powers seeming to be being quickly corrupted. "So do be a dear and just die for me, I promise I will make it hurt as little as possible" Mizori chuckled letting the arrow go aimed at Skye's forehead.

"You've become a lot more wicked than when we last met. What did they do to you?" Skye asked Mizori as she swung her trident. A large current of water rushed towards the dryad, engulfing the arrow that she shot at her. With her still being near the bottom of the stair well, Skye hoped that she could at least hold her down there until Joe could help out. Now thinking about it, she looked back and saw that he still wasn't up yet. She waved her hand and let a small ball of water fall on his face. "Joe! Time to get up, now!" she called out to him.

Simply smiling at her words Mizori looked at the oncoming water wave and jumped backwards into the wall she had created easily passing thru it as she had with the wood eariler as it took the impact of the wave. It was pushed back a bit but did not give as the water began to be absorbed into the wood. "Do to me? I have no idea what you mean" Mizori's voice called from behind the wall as she put her hand on it siphoning off some of the water that the wall was absorbing as the pool at the bottom of the stairs began to quickly shrink. .

When the water hit is face Joe sprung up suddenly hoping backwards as he pulled his mace with him. The blow had knocked him for a loop to say the least as he shook his head. "By the gods these are not ones to hold back against" Joe muttered his head throbbing a bit. "Zalera" he muttered looking over to the spear that had landed a bit away from him as he had been knocked unconscious. Walking over he kneeled down to pick it up shifting it slightly to grip him in a way that would not impede his own battle prowess.

Skye didn't expect a straight answer out of the dryad about her new behavior. It was most likely something that she wasn't aware of herself. Seeing her attack be absorbed, she narrowed her eyes in annoyance. She took this chance to get to the vines at the bottom and stabbed her trident into it, sending waves of ice into it to try and break through. Skye tried to freeze the water within it and create cracks in the vines itself.

As the vines at the bottom of the stairs started to freeze Joe lunged forwards as he slammed his mace into them the vines shattering showing how effective that Skye's freezing had been. "We have not the time for these games Dryad. Shall I knock you back to your senses?" Joe questioned moving forwards as he gripped Zalera tight in his left hand. "Zalera, Can you sense anything from this one?" he asked like Zalera he felt something was off in the presence of the Dryad but could not quite tell exactly. "Skye, can you freeze her? We need to hurry and get to Evan but with her in the way I do not see us getting there in time" Joe asked getting ready to charge the dryad.

As the stairs continued to drain of water Mizori was a tad surprised as the vines began to crack prompting Mizori to jump back to not be caught by Skye. Her timing was right as her wall of vines came crashing inwards from the blow of the brutish asgardian. "Annoying one's aren't the two of you" Mizori questioned as she stood up her skin a dark green from absorbing the water. "Why do the two of you fight so hard? You should simply let go and accept your fate. In death I am sure that you two will be much happier as your bodies are returned to the earth."

Moving to keep herself between Jedar's lab and these two she notched another arrow. The arrow slowly began to gain the dark hue that it's summoner had as she launched it towards Skye. As the arrow twisted it splintered and broke apart multiplying to many more arrows in flight. Jumping backwards before the arrow had found it's mark Mizori moved farther into the lab, she still had one room between them getting to Evan and Jedar. As she had planned it the entrance to the next room had two large plants on either side of it that she would use to keep deterring the "heroes" progress.
