"You mean last year?" Amaya asked, also looking up at the snow now. "I don't really remember. I think it snowed after Christmas." She murmured, still walking with him as she smiled.

"Even better. Makes our reunion that much more special." Adrian said with a smile as he gave her a small kiss on the head.

Amaya giggled a little, looking up at Adrian now. "I guess it does. Though reuniting at Christmas already makes it pretty great." She said as she returned his smile.

"You better start making your Christmas list for next year. I'm not sure I'll be able to top the gift of my arrival." Adrian said before sticking his tongue out to catch a few flakes himself.

"I better get writing then. Otherwise our Christmas presents are going to consist entirely of cuddles. Both in and out of bed." Adrian said pausing his flake catching to smile down at Amaya. Of course, keeping his attention toward to the sky and the falling snow had its downsides. Like not seeing the upcoming patch of ice in his way. "Erk!!" Next thing he knew he was falling back and pulling Amaya down with him.

Amaya smiled, but when he Adrian pulled her with him, she shouted out in surprise. Her elbow and head hit the ground, Amaya groaning as she lay there. "That hurt..." She muttered, rubbing her head lightly now.
"Mommy! Adrian! Are you okay?!" Calista yelled, having heard them fall and ran back to them.

"Ow...I think I bit my tongue...." Adrian groaned as he started to sit up. "Sorry about that...Are you okay?" he asked as he looked down at Amaya.

"I think so..." Amaya murmured, slowly pushing herself up. The moment she put pressure on the arm she fell on, Amaya hissed. It was her normal arm, and she held it gingerly now with her other arm, cradling it close to her body. "Or maybe not..." She muttered, sitting up the rest of the way now.
"Did you hurt your arm mommy?" Calista asked, squatting down to look at Amaya's arm now.
"Just a little bit." Amaya told Calista with a small smile, trying to let the little girl know she was okay even if her arm did hurt.

"Are you sure you're alright?" Adrian asked as he helped her up, careful to avoid coming in contact with her now bad arm. "Maybe you should get that looked at." he suggested with a whisper so as not to alert Calista too much. "Again, I am so, so sorry." he apologized feeling horrible if she broke her arm in the process.

"Yeah, I'll be okay." Amaya muttered. Sighing, she tried to unbend her arm a bit, though it hurt greatly to try. She'd broken bones many times before. However, it had been so long since she last broke a bone that she wasn't sure if it was or not at this point. "It's okay, you slipped." Amaya told Adrian softly as she looked up at him. She really didn't want to go to the hospital to get it looked at, but Amaya knew better than to just ignore an injury either. "Fine...I'll get it looked at." She murmured, holding her arm close to her once more.

"We can actually use full-fledged hospitals instead of the dinky little clinic before. Might as well use it when you need it." Adrian said before sighing. "So much for the perfect night. That sure put a damper on things..." he muttered.

"s**t happens." Amaya said with a shrug, trying to keep Adrian from blaming himself over it. Ice happened quite frequently during the winter, and technically it was Amaya's idea to go for a walk.

"Well, hospital it is." Adrian said with a sigh. "Lead the way, since I'm still at tourist levels of direction around here."

"Can do." Amaya said, returning the sigh as she began walking, Calista glued to Amaya's side. "It's not too far away at least." She murmured, seeing the sign for it saying that it was about a block away.
