It's odd, in our society, yes, even for women to aspire to be housewives. I personally, think it's great. I'd be a stay-at-home dad if I could. heart
Likely that's not where I'll be called to be, though. Still hope for a family one day. redface

heheh Awkward, yes, as people have unreasonable ideals for every facet of our lives, including the "supermom" (or dad, I suppose), who can work a 70-hour-a-week job, keep up with the kids, have dinner on the table and still keep the house immaculate. (Ridiculous. xp )

I grew up with parents working. My mum works pretty much all the time and only returns home to sleep. I never see my dad until the evenings. I pretty much managed the affairs at home whenever they weren't around.
I don't know if I'll ever find someone to have a family with... but if it ever happens I don't want them living without parents or a loved one at home all the time for whenever those emergencies come up.

Heh... I'm not comfortable with dating services such as those. I guess what makes me difficult is I need to get out of my comfort zone.
I prefer to make relationships with people I know through another connection (school, work, clubs, etc.) rather than a blind one.

Don... give yourself some time. It took me years to find my first long-term "someone", and even though that ended, I still wouldn't trade it in. Trite as it sounds, it really WILL happen when you least expect it. And when it does... you will have a LOT to offer the lucky guy. I just hope he's good enough for YOU. wink
