isn't it more fun pointing out all the crap moderator's cant really do that still makes people look like idiots?
Eh, after two years on the site, I want to be a bit more involved. I know an assload about gaia that isn't common knowledege, from abandoned software projects to parts of the moderator Terms and Guidelines. It's about time I could put it to use.
Just a few of my reasons:
Colorful names are cool!
Moderators get the
chance (not a guarantee) to become part of the development of the site. Being among the largest of internet communities, gaia is a major power in determining the future of social networking and online communities. Being part of it's development would be beyond a dream come true.
Half the mods I know are idiots. Time someone on the team had some brains.
It adds a bit more weight to your opinion. You don't have to result to hard evidence and strict condescending in order for someone to accept your point.
We ought to have a sitemod in this guild. We're getting pretty darn huge, and sometimes things in the guild could use some
/b/lackup higher authority to help resolve them. I've invited mods here before, but none of them have accepted.
Oh, and I could ban the ******** out of those avi arena bots.
