yes... we have to be tolerant of all people regardless of how untolerant they are of others... because to stoop to their level would be to not treat them like humans... which is exactly what they're doing to others...
I agree with all of that and rejoice in it... it just doesn't offer the gratification that flaming does...

Yeah... what can we do. They're people misguided by their own teachings that are supposed to be loving. That's why I moved to Unitarian Universalism although I still keep in touch with my Catholic traditions. There are just way too many people that are too intolerant despite what the teachings actually say.

I have pretty much detachted myself from my Christian past. Some of them truly are good people. Infact, my art teacher goes to a church where their pastor is gay. Like I said, some of them are good people. Others, not so much.
