((No. Parents who impose bedtimes. I'm usually okay with it as I rise at 5:30 most mornings for early classes at school.))
Lucian's words burned through Joshua's mind. 'You're....You're one of the first dragons.' He lifted his head to look into Lucian's blue eyes. 'You're a prince of dragons.' He didn't really know what else to say to that. He just shook his head in amazement. A grin slowly formed on Joshua's face. He began laughing. 'Oh, that's just great! Of all the dragons I could possible meet, I meet a prince!' Somewhere in the back of his mind, Joshua wondered what was so special about him. What about him could have made a prince want to stay with a human when he could probably have any dragon he wanted.

(((How old are you Hun? O.O)))
Lucian tilted his head to the side. He began to laugh along with Joshua. ‘I don’t like that title, but yes…sadly enough I am.’ He ruffled Joshua’s hair then stretched. Lucian was beginning to crave chocolate again. ‘Any other questions?’ he dipped his hair in the water and enjoyed the coolness of it.

((I'm 17. You?))
'Nope. Right now I'm still trying to get a hold of the answer to my last question.' Joshua shook his head, grinning. 'Well, I did want to know.' He thought for a second. 'Okay, scratch that. New question. Or three. I know you want human food a lot of the time, but what about others? Do they like human food? What do dragons eat when not eating human food?'

Lucian was staring at Joshua, and then he burst into laughter. He pulled Joshua back to him for a hug. ‘You are just too cute.’ He nuzzled Joshua before answering. ‘I’m just special. I really like the taste of sweets. When I first came here, food wasn’t all that great unless you were a king of the humans. So I’m sure other dragons still think the food is nasty, but we usually eat fish…any game we can find in the forest. And yes we ate humans, I’m sure some still does.’
(((21 XD But I can't believe that you still have a bedtime. Only families I know that still have bedtimes are Asian families.)))

((A lot of it is self-imposed. I'm the one who set the time. They just enforce it. I kinda need my sleep if I'm to function at all in school. And the habit carries over to the weekends a lot of times.))
Joshua made a face. 'I sure hope I'm not on the menu. For you or anyone else.' He put a hand to his forehead and smiled. 'I think that's enough questions. Anymore answers and my poor mind just might explode.'

Lucian moved Joshua’s hand way from his forehead, leaning over he gently place a kiss on the spot Joshua was rubbing. ‘Haha, you can always ask later.’ His hand gently picked up Joshua’s , enlacing their fingers. ‘I can introduce you to the others.’

Joshua looked up at Lucian. 'Really?' His amber eyes were sparkling in joy. 'I would love to!' He quickly amended that thought. 'As long as no one eats me. I would like to live!' He tightened his hand around Lucian's.

Lucian smiled even more, ‘No one will eat you as long as they know who your friends with.’ He didn’t tell Joshua that meant he had to reveal his secret to anyone who apposes him. He knew a lot of other creatures that didn’t know he was Furious brother. Lucian hasn’t talked to his twin in hundreds of years. He decided it will be better to stay away from him. Lucian shook his head to clear his thoughts. ‘Shall we?’
(((Well that is smart to set a bedtime. XD I never had one for myself since middleschool. I always started my HW at 11 and made A's ...my parents asked a doctor if that was normal, he said if it works for me so let it be. XD)))

((I can't function properly without a good sleep. Besides, last year I had a later time cause I had later classes. This year though, I have to catch the bus at 7am.))
Joshua looked over his shoulder at Katalina. The thought of meeting new seafolk warred with spending time with those he knew. Finally, he decided. Katalina would come if she wanted. She seemed more like a loner though, so who knew. He shrugged and smile at Lucian. 'Let's go! Which way first?' He used his free hand to gesture at the wide expanse of ocean around them.

Joey walked out of his house, bag in his hand. anyone who saw him never asked where he was going: it would either be the ocean or work. More often than not, it was the ocean. Though he didn't live anywhere near the beach, he still rode his bike over, despite the great distance. Grabbing his bike, he rode off down the road and off onto a path through to woods. After a long ride, he stopped and hid his bike in the brush. He walked to the beach and sat on the shore, his mind adrift with the ocean.

((OOC: Gah. I'm the youngest here AGAIN. *sulks* I just went to work at the barn for...lessee...five hours on three hours' sleep. I was at a party last night. u.u))
Katalina joined the two of them, her eyes full of doubt. "Lucian, are you sure this is a good idea?" she asked. "Not all sea folk will respect you, even if you are the prince of the dragons. It won't only be your kind we run across on the way." She herself had no power over other mermaids, and if one of the Sirens decided they wanted to eat Joshua, she could only oppose it through her own acts. She couldn't stop them from trying it. She looked at Joshua and shook her head wryly. "I don't remember ever thinking so much before I met you."

Finally, after a long period of indecision, Joey walked to the tree-line and threw the tarp off of a small boat. It was a single mast ship with no motor. Joey tossed his bag in it, which contained food, water, and his close possessions. He also tossed in his bike just in case he needed to go somewhere when he made landfall. Satisfied, he pushed the boat into the water and hopped in. He knew that he had to be careful of the corral reef in the bay, but he wasn't concerned. He sat back and directed the boat to the open sea.

"Well, at least now you know you have a good working brain." Joshua smiled wryly back at Katalina. "And besides, how will we find out if we don't go? Surely at least some of the sea folk will be nice." 'That sounded weird. Even to me.' He thought to himself. "I want to meet the others." Joshua was now deadset on that one point.

Joey looked and, out of the corner of his eye, saw a few people by the beach in the cove. He didn't pay much attention to them as he was concentrated on not hitting any rocks or hitting the coral. "Man...What a pain..."

((Joshua & the others are in the water, btw.))
Joshua glanced around him. The sight of a boat's hull caught his attention immediately. 'No....' He moaned mentally. 'Just a small boat though.' He pulled his hand from Lucian's. Placing both of his hands on the dragon's chest, Joshua began pushing him away. "Move!" He hissed. "Back! Into hiding!" He wasn't worried about Katalina. She was very good at hiding when she wanted to. It was Lucian and his playful attitude that worried him.
