Awiergan Manji-luo Awiergan Eschaton_Light i am bored, make me Happy crying What's your sig from? it's that bad guy from Final Fantasy 9. i can't believe you talk about how much more challenging RPGs are and then you don't even recognize a simple villian from a FF game x3 okay i really can believe it, but still! xP also: FF6 bosses, FTW! (those guys were actually challenging!)...(and they still are near end-game!) xD Oh yeah! I remember that. I played FF9. The dragon at the end of the last disk, now THAT was a hard boss. I never actually beat him. >.< Nowhere good left to train at that point, I got bored. Or the last boss in FF5. Neo-X Death. That guy was frickin hard. FF6 was way too easy for me. You can beat it at a fairly low level, including the tower of fanatics. If you have the gembox, you can cast quicken twice, giving you four consecutive turns on a character. And the economizer lowers the cost from 140MP to 2mp. If you cast the spell on the caster, and that character has ultima or meteo, they can cast it 4 times for only 4 mp, easily getting rid of kefka's 100,000 in a few turns. And you can kill him in one hit if you throw the atma weapon. >.> FF6's highlight was Merton, the spell granted by crusader, if you killed all the dragons in the game. When a high-level character casts it, it does 9999 to everyone on the screen, including your characters. If you equipped all your characters with fire shields, then you healed everyone 9999, and did 9999 to all enemies. Combo the economizer and gembox, you're doing 40,000 to all enemies and healing 40,000 each turn. And life 3 made your party auto-res if the enemy used a one hit kill skill. And phoenix was in the game, an easy summon to revive your whole party. Combine those together, and FF6 turned out overly easy. yes, but you see, when you're NOT using that stuff, it gets rather difficult. i never beat FF6 personally, but my brother did. he knew the easy ways, but he still chose to fight kefka with a genji glove, an atma weapon, another very good sword, and that weird relic that let you attack 4 times with one weapon. if you had that on your guy with two sowrds, then he'd attakc 8 times! that's literally nuts when you get to fighting the tough stuff. my brother spent the time to max out his characters' levels too, so Edgar was dealing a ton of damage right from the start of the battle. all he needed was a cure 3 spell cast on him and he was good to go. ...i still don't know how to get the chainsaw though >.< my brother got that and it still seems so awesome gonk i followed the directions one time and tried to get it but it didn't work =/ and the final boss in FF9 was the hardest second hardest enemy in the game to me. the hardest one was those evil little sheep things that were on the forbidden island or whatever the name of that place was. you can only get there with a flying chocobo, and it WAS the best place to train there. you just had to watch out for the random instant deaths that happened due to those evil sheep. i don't know why, but the hardest enemies in most of the games for me are the things you'd least expect! FF7: Ruby weapon was incredibly easy once you got the tactics down. i tried a strategy guide and that didn't work, so i came up with my own plan and it worked. Emerald weapon was the one i could never win against though. FF9: the hardest enemy in the game, that you had to SEARCH OUT to find, was INCREDIBLY easy for me...and yet...i get taken down by a buncha sheep so easily ._.;; FFX was a snooze fest as far as the battles went. they were either incredibly easy, or ungodly difficult. the hardest battles for me were some of the combined monsters that you had to hunt down...that and the chocobo race. took me FOREVER to beat that damn thing, just so i could get a lame-assed weapon >.< wakka's final weapon = best ball EVAR!

The sacrifice was the item that allowed you to attack four times. The Genji glove gave you double attack, for a total of 8 attacks. It was a way to rig the arena so you couldn't loose, doing that much damage. Additionally, there's a second atma weapon in Kefka's tower.
The problem though, was that it was the same as the last weapon (can't remember the name) that cloud got in FF7. It does ATK equal to your HP. So if you get hurt alot, you're doing 8 attacks for nothing.

So if you get hurt alot, you're doing 8 attacks for nothing. hence why i said: "CURE 3, ftw!" you can have like 6000 hp and you'll still do 9999 damage with the atma weapon, as long as it's around your max HP. it's still a ton of damage, either way. and i think the weapon you're thinking about is on kefka. there WERE 3 atma weapons. two of them were the swords and one of them was the actual monster. the second sword you got by stealing it from kefka (i think). and since it jsut lands in your inventory, it's completely free to throw at kekfa...or you could pull something fancy and equip it to one of your characters in the middle of the battle. but let's face it: who would want to equip something fancy, expensive, priceless, and incredibly rare, when you can THROW it at someone xD

Actually, I heard you get it from replacing the head on a statue in Kefka's tower... >.> Not sure. And I guess there were 4, as you fight atma (the monster) again, in the prison of Kefka's tower. He's guarding a save point. Why'd they ever kill cure 4 though? It made FFIV fun. Just to cast spells with ridiculus numbers that still did next-to-nothing. Of course, level four spells came back as "aja", in one of the later games, but I can't remember which. But I don't think there was a "cure".
