Catching the quaffle, Anita pulled back her arm, getting ready to launch the stupid thing through the hoops. Lady Luck shine down on her, the blonde prayed as she threw it in the direction of the goal.

Dominic squared his shoulders as he waited, the chasers loomed closer and closer. Daniel and Anita closed in the short distance and kept the quaffle tight. When the last boiling seconds echoed in his mind, he followed the sway of her movements, mimicking the first years motions to try and block the ball against his body. Or catch it... If he was lucky.

Dominic blinked as the quaffle grazed the edge of his finger and then swoosh, it rolled inside for another ten points. He laughed softly under his breath as he swerved down around the three posts to catch the quaffle and rise back up to field. Two fingers tucked around his bottom lip for a loud, sharp whistle. "Aw'righ'! Brilliant work everyone, we're taking a small break. I've got water and healing potions in a rucksack by the chest. Feel free to them; in about fifteen minutes I'll rearrange the teams." he nodded. Maybe he was a bit relaxed compared to the previous captains, but there would be time for drills and running laps later... No need to scare them, right?

Prepare for the end." Claire was about to try to beat someone else up with a bludger, but that was when the...captain whistled and stopped the game. At least temporarily.
Tilting her head some, Claire sighed and flew down to the ground, getting off her broom. Maybe she would do better if she just took a small break? She...did hit someone after all, but recently...
....She tried to ignore those thoughts as she went to grab a healing potion and some water from the chest, her injury still had a dull pain, but at least it didn't feel as bad. The water also felt great against her parched throat.
Looking up she tilted her head, so...rearrange the teams, hm?
....She had to do better this time. My feelings? I'm calm you know?

Dominic bristled a small sigh as he fluttered down to the grassy fields near the empty wooden chest. A small rucksack of vials he borrowed from his mother, and water bottles from the kitchens. The house elves were more then accommodating, albeit, a bit overbearring. Still, he couldn't complain. A quick hand spayed water down the back of his throat as he waited for his team to catch their breath and shake off bludger hits. Idly, he wondered how the other teams were doing.
About fifteen minutes later, Dominic cleared his throat. Crystal vision sharpened. "Alrigh' gather 'round.
This time, the green team will have Claire and Daniel for chasers, Virgil will stay as keeper and Darius will defend as your beater. The silver team will have Josh and Kenny for chasers, Dmitri is keeper and Anita, you'll be beater; I'll be helping you there, so don't worry. Now, Jazz, you'll be taking Ashley out this time to try seeking.Same rules apply as before, try your damnest and don't hit the seekers.
When I toss the quaffle up, the game begins." Dominic announced. He waited for the players to take their new positions in the air before he tucked his bat under his arm and held the red quaffle in his hands. He waited one last second for everyone to ready themselves and threw the quaffle in the air.

Prepare for the end." Fully quenched, Claire got ready to get on her broom again as the positions were re-arranged, so now she was to play the Chaser position? ...Oh right. She wrote that down because she couldn't think of anything other than beater. Oh well...
Better now than never.
Adjusting her broom she got ready to fly up to catch the quaffle as soon as it was time to. When the quaffle was tossed up she kicked into overdrive and darted up. My feelings? I'm concentrated you know?

Weighing the bat in her palm, the blonde sighed helplessly to herself, expression caught between a dry grin and nervousness. She didn't even remember the last time she played baseball-- or hit anyone with a pipe. There was that one time with the nasty, but that didn't count-- she used her shoe.
Ah, well!
Swinging back the bat, the blonde swung, aiming for Claire on the pitch.
Okay, she missed, but damn, was hitting something therapeutic.
She looked at the bat in her hands thoughtfully.
Maybe she should do this more often.

"Alright, that's it!" Dominic announced, two fingers tightened his bottom lip to emit a shrill whistle. He gathered the players around with a heavy hand smiled. "You mates did great, that's it for today. Darius and I will deliberate, the rest of you are free to go, and, later this afternoon, an announcement will be put on the bulletin board inside the common room. So don't forget to look for that. I'll be looking forward to seeing lucky few in practice." Dominic nodded his head affirmatively and sought out his vice captain. He didn't think it would take too long, but who knew?
