Sorry for double post but back to Evolves topic, It is now rumored from the mods that we might be able to equip any evolution stage after the item has finished evolving. As long as it's free i think it's 300% better than the current resolution being discussed which is to make a purchaseable de-evolve potion for each stage you want to view backward. Which is still pretty bad, but better than nothing.
