Pisces smiled slightly at the dry humor. "Yes, I suppose you are sitting." He pondered a moment, and then, "But is that a reflection on where you stand with UndaCorp?" Did he even know his own answer to that question? No. He didn't know where he stood, he just knew he probably -should- stand somewhere with such an influential giant of a corporation. His thoughts returned to the woman he had seen depart a few moments before. Now -she- had looked important. Pisces guessed loosely that she was in charge of something at UndaCorp - something big.

Something didn't sit right with him, though. He wasn't a moral person by any means. He found himself caring less and less as the days went by whether or not the people around him lived or died. It was life. It was all life in its infinite circle of confusion and chaos. All Pisces cared to do was jump in the circle. Jump in and ride and BE something. Be part of something significant and make his name known everywhere. But was that it? Fame? So simple a solution to the question he had puzzled over for so long, but it would do for now.

 

[Saverio C.]

Saverio frowned at the lack of response from his bomb. Sure the people who didn't work at Undacord were leaving but that wouldn't even slow anyone important down. More importantly he now had their attention, granted not their full attention, just some low life lackeys were walking towards him. "Well time to get to work then!" Saverio exclaimed as he shoved past the goons and jumped down the hole to the bowels of Undacorp. Without missing a step he took off running through the basement hall ways stopping only to throw items in the way of whoever was going to chase him. Also damage is damage, and he was doing as much as possible.  

[Sentama Lin]

The goons Saverio referred to were quite silent. While the objects thrown at them did slow them down slightly, they responded quite un-humanlike. They jumped from wall to wall of the elevator shaft to reach the same floor where Saverio was and continued to give chase, shooting at him with tranquliser bullets.

Lin sighed and ran across the lobby, passing through the holographic personnel, pressing a button on his now-shield to activate his hover skates, and jumped down the elevator shaft -- the skates slowed his fall. Upon reaching the same floor where Saverio was running he smiled and began skating toward him, jumping and shield bashing whichever objects he threw at him.  

[Saverio C.]

"God Damned inhuman sons-a-bitches" Saverio yelled as he yanked his body around slamming his fist into the side of a file cabinet launching it blindly down the hall way at the group of people. All the compartments flew open as the hunk of steel tumbled on the walls spreading paper and folders inside everywhere behind it's path. Saverio pulled his free hand to his pocket opening his lighter and snapped the switch down creating the spark and then fire in less then a second. Even quicker was Saverio spewing the fire down the hall way lighting itself down the path the cabinet making the hall way much less hospitable to his pursuers.  

[Roland Karloseth]

Roland jumped down the elevator shaft after Lin, landing with a rather hard impact. "Ugh," He thought, "Never do THAT again without something to break my fall" Roland then followed Saverio through the depths of the office building. He was able to run fast enough, and was able to keep Lin in sight, but he was no where near as agile as he was. He jumped some of the stuff, but more than once he ended up tripping on the object. He was able to get up quickly though, thanks to his handy ability.  

[Sentama Lin]

Lin's eyes grew wide as he saw the blaze generated from Saverio's abilities. He immediately covered his face and core with the shield, hoping to divert away much of the heat away from his face. The computer that was his shield would be damaged, no doubt, but the nanomachines will repair itself so he's not too worried. Still, this annoyed him much. He continued skating on, jumping over flames and folders and papers and the humanoid guards until he reached a fire alarm. Saverio was still quite ahead of him, but thee alarm should lessen his abilities a bit. After pulling it, the sprinklers did their work, spraying water on the floor (and eventually turning on the sprinklers in the rest of the building).

"You're not getting away, Saverio... This is HQ; we have control here..." He said as he sprinted forward.  

[Saverio C.]

Saverio watched helplessly as the water covered everything and ruining it! The suit was covered from top to bottom in water! Tearing up behind his glasses he angerly lashed out and clenched his fists! "Lin.....this was a dry clean only item!" was all he could manage to say. He wasn't mad at Lin, he was mad at himself for not getting serious from the start. If he had he might not have destroyed what he held so dear! If he wanted to use fire now he would have to make it extraordinarily hot so the water wouldn't put it out. Looking at Lin brazenly charging forward and announcing that this was handled forced him to act. He pulled a fragmentation grenade from the back of his coat and pitched a ball right at Lin. It was one of his "short fuse" gernades so Saverio was going to make a stand now.  

[Sentama Lin]

Lin's eyes widened as he saw the grenade flying toward him. With alacrity he smashed it toward a hallway where nobody was, for the underground was quite a maze now (compared to the single conference room that Saverio saw the last time). Unfortunately it was too little too late. While not fatal the grenade did explode near Lin, which knocked him into one of the walls. He gasped, wincing as some of the shrapnel entered him. Once silence settled again, Lin could be seen leaning on the wall, bleeding profusely. A pained smirk could be seen on his face if one looked hard enough.  

[Roland Karloseth]

Roland caught some indirect damage from the blast, the blast picked up a stapler and it smashed into Roland's head. "Ouch..." Luckily, the stapler didn't open, so he didn't get staple stuck in his head as well, though that thought didn't make him feel any better. He took a moment to get over the shock, and gave chase again. He soon saw Lin propped up against a wall, and went to him first. "Oh s**t. You gonna be alright?"  

[Saverio C.]

"Aww how cute Lin! Your little boy friend cares about your health." Saverio teased with a stern tone. He didn't mind taking time to banter with his opponents in a fight. It added much needed flavor to the battles, and make the time pass faster. 'Besides' He noted 'I'm clearly out of practice.' Although he didn't show it he was worried about now taking on two people along with the Undacorp goons without access to low level fire. He could wear himself out and steam them all up, but he knew it wasn't time for a climax like that just yet.

"Well as much as I would like to stay and play with you Lin I must keep myself occupied and you and your new manservant look like you have a moment going on so I'll be heading on up" He yelled with a smirk. "Saverio knew there where vents, and if he moved quick enough he would be able to make it back up to the lobby and hopefully hijack an elevator to make this trip quick and easy.  

[Erverain]

Throughout all of this, Erv had stayed quietly out of the way, preparing to move out with the sheets of material. The bass thuds of dulled explosions, the shrill cry of the fire alarms, and the slight trickle of sprinkler system all worked their ways down through the staircase leading to UndaCorp proper.
"Oh, dear. Just like the old days, isn't it? Never a dull moment with Saverio around."
Dialing up the settings on the Powered Gauntlets, Erv hefted the pile of material and began to move towards the opening where he entered from.
Well, not to be ungrateful for the distraction, Saverio, but this was certainly less troublesome since you grabbed everyone's attention. NOw I just have to get out of here before Lin's Brute Squad detects another intruder...  

[Roland Karloseth]

"s**t. Business Rol, business. Always be business-like" Roland mentally scolded himself. He took off after Saverio again.  

[Sentama Lin]

"...Go, idiot... get Saverio... I'll, agh, catch up." Lin replied to Roland, getting back up. Once Roland was out of his vision, he smirked and put in the MEDICA card into his shield-computer. The tech reverted back to how it looks normally, then shot a needle of something into Lin. It made his healing much faster than it already (abnormally) was. After a few minutes he was back up on his feet. However, that was a few minutes not well spent.

He grumbled to himself and pushed 'Up' on the elevator. He had faith that Roland will keep Saverio on the chase. Now, his job is to get up, hopefully to pincer Saverio in a corner. The elevator 'dinged' and opened. He entered the elevator and rode it to the second floor.  

[Saverio C.]

Saverio ran around blindly in the under ground until he found a ventilation shaft. The frail metal plate was easy enough to rip out of its holding, and even easier to toss to the side. Saverio looked in and saw the light from an opening above him. He crawled into the vent and used shear strength) managed to punch holes in the side of the vent to hold him in place as he climbed up. It was slow going , and not silent in the least as he was banging around in side in grunting loudly with each kick into the metal plate, but he made it up one level in time and poped out of the vent back into the lobby.

"Well wandering blindly doesn't work, the lay out is different now." he muttered seeing a brightly lit directory in the center of the lobby. Blushing slightly he walked up to it and looked for weapons development on the upper floors. Noting it was up in the 60's he walked up to the key coded elevator and kicked in the card reader. Aside from a small jolt nothing happened. "Well looks like I'll have to find a way up. I wonder if they finally installed stairs in this place?" He said to himself pondering his next move.  

[Sentama Lin]

While UndaCorp is an evil organization, they still had to follow safety procedures. Of course the building had stairs, but they were for emergencies (like fires or trolls). The doors to access them were all alarmed, however. It made sense, considering that the majority of real employees poofed from place to place and the rest just used the elevators that never seemed to fail. UndaCorp, great technology makers that they were.

"Get 'im" one of the real guards said on the lobby floor. Saverio could see another group of five guards running through the holographic employees towards him, batons erected and ready to smack Saverio across the face.

Lin reached the second floor and stood in the balcony of the lobby (or is atrium more appropriate), watching Saverio from the floor below. His clothes were bloodied but his wounds looked much better. He needed better weapons, however, so he wouldn't dare attacking Saverio right now.

"We'll let the goons take care of him..." He said as he swiped his card and headed up to the sixtieth floor to gather some more cards for his computer. RIFLE or CANNON would be nice right now.

"Excuse me, sir..." A guard said kindly to Erverain in the subway area. "...but may I see your identification, please? It's only a formality; we just need to make sure that you're actually an employee of UndaCorp. We were told that someone would be here to do repairs on our trains?"
