"Sorry, but I don't swing that way. Maybe if you had a bulge in your pants instead of your shirt I'd take you up on that offer." Lyria said easily without turning to see who the newcomer was. Of course, any one night stands she went on were only to swipe her bed mate's purse.

"Okay," the Lady said simply. "Then I'd like to talk to you about the stunt you just pulled, if you don't mind. I'm always interested in learning new and exciting forms of... well. Let's just call it indefinite borrowing. Madame Lusine screws me out of most of my money, so I am always looking for ways to supplement my income."

"Brothel, I take it?" Lyria asked. "If you're tired of your mistress, or whatever you call her, taking your money, why not leave? You don't have to quit your current occupation, but you meet so many interesting people on the road, and if your hands are quick enough you can set whatever price you want and still take all that they have in the middle of the night and be out and on the road the next morning. Otherwise I suggest you become good friends with the local guards and start emptying some dirty pockets." she advised.

"You make it sound so easy," she said blithely. "As if I could simply walk out of the Blooming Rose..." She shook her head slightly. "You, milady, have obviously never been in my profession. If you had, you would know that I cannot easily leave Madame Lusine. Not that I want to. She doesn't force her girls into anything they don't want to do. That's why I only serve female clients—and, coincidentally, why I don't have many friends in the guard."

(("Blooming Rose"? Is that an Assassin's Creed reference I smell?)) ((Better yet, one does not simply walk out of the Blooming Rose? Eh? Eh?? biggrin ))
"Well, that's hardly my problem, now is it? All I can say is if you want something, take it. If you're not happy with the way things are, change it. But nothing's going to happen unless do something." Lyria said easily as he spun around to walk backwards a ways while looking back at the woman. "If you're not going to take my professional advice, at least take my life advice." she said before turning back around to continue walking forward.

The Lady pursed her lips. "Since I very much doubt I'll ever see you again," she said, "may I know your name? You may call me the Lady of Ninety Nights—although there are some who simply call me Lady Night." A pause. "And I would also appreciate it if you directed me towards a woman who would gladly enjoy my services."

((Hey, I gave you the chance. Not my fault you decided to stop being on patrol then. XD Maybe go back on patrol and hear our two lovely ladies discussing Lyria's deeds/line of work? Or be off duty and catch up with Lyria at the tavern she's heading to?))
"It's Lyria. Just watch what you do with it, I'd rather I didn't become too popular with the guards." she said with a little wink aimed at Lady. "Although I'm afraid I can't point you towards any customers. I'm a lone traveler, and barely got into town myself."

The Lady smiled warmly. "Don't worry. I have no real desire to draw attention to myself either. And it is rather unfortunate that you don't have any prospective clients for me. But, may I accompany you? I've changed my mind. You are an interesting woman and I'd like to speak with you." A very polite way of saying she had a crush.

(True think I will.) Stopping out front of the four shields tavern Andis looked around. So far he hadn't spotted the traveler from earlier and was a tad bit saddened by that fact. Walking inside Andis was greeted by several of the patron's inside along with the Tavern owner. "Hey give me a honey mead the same as usual" he called to the owner with a smirk as he sat down at the bar. Sighing a bit as the man walked away Andis turned in his seat to face the rest of the bar. While he always enjoyed the city and interacting with it's people he had this feeling in the back of his mind something else would occupy his time eventually.

"Er...o...kay....? Sure, I guess?" Lyria said stopping to raise a very confused eyebrow at Lady. "I'm just heading to the tavern, and I'm not going to buy you a drink, so don't bother asking." she said as she started walking again, soon finding the tavern and strolling inside.

With a slight pout, the Lady followed Lydia inside. "I was planning on getting other women to pay for my drinks, dear. It's no fun if they don't reciprocate." She glanced around the tavern before deciding on a woman, sending her a flirtatious smile before locating Lydia again. "I'm fortunate that most of my clients are in Hightown. I don't think I'd like being recognized here." It was an absent comment, and then she focused on Lydia. "So... what brings you to Kirkwall?"

"The road, of course." Lyria said with a grin. "All joking aside, I have no set destination, I simply see where the road takes me and perform business there before moving on again." she said before her eye caught Andis, looking rather in need of amusement or something. "And if you'll excuse me, I think I see an...acquaintance of mine." she said before walking over to the familiar guard. "Not drinking on the job, I hope."

"Does it look like I am working?" Smiling at the voice Andis looked over at the traveler he had met earlier. "Contray to popular beliefs we do have some form of a life between shifts. Hence the havin neither armor nor weapon" he laughed as the bartender arrived. Setting the elfs beverage down next to him he collected his pay before retuning to work. "How about you? Find anything that has caught your fancy within the city walls?" Lifting his drink up Andis sipped at it gingerly the sweet taste of the mead filling his mouth.

"Well, I met one of your coworkers earlier. Saved me from some less-than-welcoming brutes near the market." Lyria said taking a seat next to Andis while pointing the bartender to a bottle of mead she wanted. "It's a shame the men around hear can't be quite as charming as you." she half-joked with a little smile as she flipped some strands of hair from her face, though they fell right back into place.
