(((I pictured Hades telling Medusa "I am your master...".)))

Marth was only able to say "Yes my lord, and thank-you" before taking the small bag of gold. He saw the princesses on his way to town, and he bowed to them. "Welcome to Draconem. I hope you enjoy your stay," he stood up and bowed to Unmei. "Welcome back, Lord Unmei," before he started to make his way to buy new clothes.
PostPosted: Tue Jun 18, 2013 7:21 am

Unmei looked at the Princess he had saved and said, "I hope you have no reason to worry about how you look. I'm blind after all in both of my forms." And then he began to lead her, but not toward the castle. He led her toward a cavern mouth that was need the Airship port. "I love being underground. We will reach the castle via my hidden road."

Nicolas watched her pick up a shield and began to let out a deep rumbling laugh uncharacteristic of the old man. He'd never laughed around her, much less at her. Then he reared his head back to prepare to breathe fire, but what came forth from his beak was not fire but something different altogether. A bolt of lightning shot from his mouth directly at her shield.

((Oh haha! I'm sorry! But okie dokie.))

As they came close to the city's center the other princess had said they would like her or so she thought. This made the girl blush brightly. "W-well, i'm hoping they won't and send me home..." She said quietly before they came upon two of the princes. She got off her horse as they stopped infront of the two.

Bowing her head slightly in greeting she placed a hand on her hip and gave her own weird version of a smile. She didn't smile much normally except when 'pillaging'... "I'm Shayna of Legerdemain. What's shaking?" She asked with her usual upbeat attitude.

Kaimei got bored of standing at the Castle Gate, he wondered where the Princesses were at let alone where his younger brothers flew off to. He fixed his black long coat and walked towards the Town. After a matter of Moments Kaimei was almost at the square and a few feet ahead of him he saw his little brother Ren talking to two Women "Must be them" he said he stayed behind watching from afar to see what type of women they are. He smiled a little when he say his brother talking to them "He is Not afraid at all" he said to himself

Ren nodded his head slowly, eying both girls. Each were rather beautiful, yet unique. Sereda came off as quieter and softer than Shayna, who seemed a bit more bright. He wondered how the Trystalian princess turned out, but he guessed he'd save her for last, and if she was as beautiful as these two girls, it would be like a little treat for him. He pocketed his hands now that he felt a little more comfortable, he began to speak again.
"I'm glad that you've arrived safety here. The princess of Trystal had some trouble in her travels," he murmured. "Now, let us go to the castle now to complete your welcoming," he finished, turning slightly as he motioned for them to follow. He glanced back at the castle, spotting his brother spying them with his crimson eyes. It made him feel a little weird so he avoided eye contact and proceeded to get the girls to come.

Eureka looked back behind her, back to the light, a little concerned in going into a foreign country's underground alone with a foreign man. She doubted he'd do anything, but it was like being thrown into a familiar yet unknown world. She paused a little before going inside, close to him now as they went through the tunnels. Perhaps this was Unmei's way of trying to charm her. She wondered if the other princesses would have the same treatment. Eureka bit her lip, looking around. The tunnels here were so different than her own, so damask and dark compared to the lively underground she was used to. Precious gems would cast colors about the tunnel. In shallower tunnels, small holes from the surface would be made to give light, making the tunnels sparkle with color. As one went deeper, the iridescent glow of gems would illuminate one's path until one met with the bright city of the capital. The castle was immense, from the cave floor to the ceiling, it glowed like a firefly in the night. The castle itself was half underground and half above the surface, immense in structure.
Eureka looked at Unmei, who mentioned his blindness. It did not change her opinion of him, since her own father was growing blind. She stopped being self conscious though.
A small grunt from behind her startled her, but she soon realized that it was her guards, who had followed her down. They were her escorts and were there to protect her at any point. They were also to keep her company while she was being courted, for it was not proper to leave a princess of their country alone with a man. Eureka felt a little better with them there and looked to Unmei again, holding his arm tightly.
"Did you make this yourself?" She asked quietly, though it came out louder because of the echo in the cave. She had heard that certain dragons dug tunnels and caves for themselves.

Kaimei seen his brother avoiding Eye Contact with him he smirked and turned back towards the castle but he took a different route. He turned down an allyway and down another then his back shown wings and he flew upwards onto the roof of a tall building then he jumped off and glided into the courtyard garden of the castle. He was greeted but the Servants of the Castle in the Garden a small servant girl came up to Kaimei holding up 3 roses one red one blue and the last one gold "These are for the Princesses?" Kaimei asked the girl nodded he smiled patted her on the head she smiled and the gleam in her eyes that she was appreciated then the Servant overseer called her and she ran back to work. Kaimei walked out of the courtyard with Roses in hand and entered the Castle. He made his way into The Throne Room but his father wasnt "Must be working on those letters" he said to himself. He walked up to the Throne and placed his hand on it then he looked at the Chair next to it. It seemed it hasnt been sat in in years. This was the Chair that his mother used to sit in.

As he moved his head back she had come to the right conclusion, even more was when he breathed out it was lightening and not fire that spewed from his large beak. Considering what had happened earlier she figured lightening would be involved some how. Either he was rare and could wield the energy and power of lightening or it was something more. Nonetheless she had read many legends of all types of dragons some never seen some never heard of though she read a little exert on his kind but that was written down centuries ago so there was no telling how different Nicolas was and again there was that possibility that he was something else all together. Nonetheless as he released the electricity toward her she crouched down and dove away toward her left leaving the shield as it was struck and pretty much turned to ash. Rolling to her feet she got back up and since she was still by the wally that held the shields and weapons she grabbed another shield though this one she would keep with her rather than let it perish. That was one thing down. She now knew he could produce electricity and shoot hit but she wondered if he could spew fire as well. That she would have to wait and see also. Lucia would not fight just yet...no...that would be foolish and she would be defeated or killed. It was best to observe and defend as much as she could at the moment.

Marth walked around the town, heading towards the tailer's shop. He had been there enough times to know where it was, and which routes would be the fastest; however, the route he had chosen was a bad one, for he had seen his former boss. He stopped, watching the man before stepping backwards quietly. He quickly turned and went back to the main square and picking another route. He didn't want to risk a fight in the market place and delay his trip. His presence might be needed back at the castle any second, and he wanted to make sure he was there. After all, they did take him from the street and employed him as well as giving him a home, and he didn't want to disappoint.

He reached the tailer's shop and asked for some clothes. The tailor grabbed his measuring tape and measured Marth from head to toe, and around his waist. He told the servant boy that he would stitch up something special, but it would take a day for it to be finished. He told the man that he didn't need to do that and that he would take one of the clothes in store. The man, disappointed, went into the back and got some clothing and came back. Marth picked out the ones he liked and tried them on. He enjoyed the way they felt, and he purchased them. The tailor him farewell after being paid.

After leaving, Marth had a few coins left over and thought that he needed new shoes, something the tailor didn't have, but decided to make them himself since he used to be an apprentice to a cobbler. He just needed materials, tools and a work space.

The route he had taken was empty, and he thought it was due an approaching storm, when suddenly, someone grabbed him tightly on the shoulders. The person who grabbed him quickly turned around and hit him in the face, giving him a black eye. Marth fell over and hit the ground hard. Then he got kicked repeatedly. He heard the attacker tell him how useless he was and was surprised he was still alive.

Marth stood up and stood in a fighting stance, a bluff, never having fought before. He backed up slowly, feeling the breeze on his exposed face and arms. His blue clothes were covered in dirt, but he didn't care. He just needed to get away alive. The shoe maker ran towards Marth, who turned to run, hoping he'd out run the man. He didn't think running to the castle was a smart idea, fearing if he lead the attacker there, the attack would try to break into the castle, but then it hit him. The castle had guards, and the guards knew him, and allow him entry, but not the shoemaker. Then again, he would have brought danger to the castle.

Marth stood and faced the man, and made a fist. He held it out as soon as the man was close enough to be unable to stop. He ran into Marth's fist, though the two fell to the ground; unfortunately, the older male got up and pulled Marth from the ground and beat him before Marth could react. Marth's vision became black and his face becoming bloody and bruised. His legs were swept from under his feet and he fell, getting kicked once more, and his legs also getting kicked. The man took off, unaware he beat up a servant for a prince, but even if he did, he didn't care.

Marth stood up, his arms and legs sore. They were violently shaking, and Marth knew he had better learn to fight if he were to protect Ren. He fell down, disappointed in himself and became unconscious, laying on top of his new clothes.

Two small sets of arms suddenly hugged prince Kaimei's legs. The word, "Papa!" sounded out in stereo and two identical little boys smiled up at the prince. These were Hana and Toge. On paper they were The first Prince's body guards, in truth though they were mere children who thought of him as their dad. The two of them had been left in his care when they were just 2 years old and they didn't remember their real father. But that didn't matter to them. Kaimei was their papa in their minds, and nothing he or anyone else could possibly say would change their minds.

Unmei walked with her slowly and as they walked he did not stumble, not once. He used his cane like an old man would, but he did not tap it or wave it side to side. He seemed to only hold it as if it was important to him. Soon the path of the cavern began to brighten, but not because of light from the castle. They were entering a portion of the cavern that was lit by glowing cyan blue crystals. "I did in deed. But I did not cut the stone. I merely excavated the cave. I removed the soil that filled it and gave the soil to the local farmers and flower growers." and as they walked more and more glowing crystals became apparent. The cavern from this point on was filled with many kinds of glowing crystals, but none were bigger than a finger. He could feel the strength of her grip. "Do not be afraid. I will not harm you. And so long as As I am here, No one and nothing will. Any wishing to harm you will feel the fear of my blade and hear its battle cry." Then up ahead a set of stairs became visible. Stairs lit by the crystals. "I would like you to be my bride. I won't deny it. And To me it is not the outward beauty that should be driving this decision. It's the beauty of one's soul. Everything about you that isn't physical that makes you who you are."

Nicolas narrowed his eyes and then whipped his tail at her from the left with the intention of making her dodge. His attack was in earnest. He knew she was analyzing him. then he followed up with another attack. This time a ball of lightning.

Lucia watch the larg dragon intently. She knew every nook and crany of this trainning ground and no doubt he knew as well. After a brief moment of stillness her eyes caught sight of his tail coming right at her which was something she had been waiting for. Bracing herself behind the shield she let the tail hit her causing her to go flying in the air but with that momentum she managed a back flip in mid air and landed upon the tall wall though it was fairly narrow. Of course now there was the ball of lightening to deal with. It happened quickly but she bolted away, just in time to avoid the ball as it hit the wall and caused a small bladt. Using the blasts waved she leaped off the wall and landed on top of Nicolas though she quickly rolled down the side of his back and landed beside him. Her small size was both an advantage and disadvantage. The shiel she had was heavily dented.

Shayna watched carefully as the male seemed to quietly assess them before offering to lead them into the castle. She took a look at her horse and pat it's neck before following after the male. The horse immediately took off for home. Which she couldn't blame him, she wanted to be home as well. She sighed quietly as she looked at Princess Sereda. She happily thought of the girl as somewhat of a friend. Infact the girl actually reminded her a lot of one of the triplets. Since there were six, Shayna couldn't exactly say which one of which age. There were just so many...

As they turned onto the path another male seemed to be watching them. She took this to mean another prince, who did not seem too interested in them. Which slightly irritated her. She growled quietly of such rudeness but continued to try to seem happy to be there...

Kaimei felt sets of arms grabbing his legs he looked down to see the twins were holding on to him again. He sighed with a smile on his face "Im not papa" he said even though not matter how many times he says it they dont comprehend that he isnt their father. he patted on both of their heads as he held onto the 3 Roses "Where have you two been this morning?" he asked them

Unmei probably wouldn't be able to notice the redness to her cheeks, her blush burning as she listened. She looked down, a little frazzled, for hearing such a confession was something she had never heard of before from any man.
One of her guards choked and began coughing. Others gave a low chuckle, though they tried to hide it with a lot of grunts and breathing. This sort of reaction was due to two reasonings. The first was probably a sense of pride, as if a Trystalian princess could easily swoon a prince, especially from Draconem. The second was a bit more teasing, as if they had sort of felt sorry for Unmei. Of all princesses, it was Eureka, the most unconventional one. Eureka was embarrassed, but it wasn't because they were laughing at her. It was because they were there to hear it. It didn't bother her, since she was used to it.

Eureka cleared her throat, to quiet their loudness. She waited for them to finish before opening her mouth to speak, loosening her grip on Unmei's arm as she got closer to the staircase.
She closed her eyes, giving a lofty breath.

"L...lord Unmei," she muttered, a little frazzled. "I surely thank you for saving me and your comment, and it isn't that I am insulting you nor your judgement, but you can't be so quick to make such a conjecture as you've just made. You haven't met the other candidates. Surely if it weren't me on that airship, you probably would've said the same about the other two." She watched him, eying his facial expressions as she spoke. It wasn't that she didn't like Unmei, because she did, and she most definitely had more likeliness to him because of his courage and kindness so far. But she just wasn't going to dismiss the other princes because Unmei got to her first. That wasn't really fair, in her eyes. She was the third child in her family, so she didn't really enjoy first come first served rules.

When Shayna got down from the horse, the Divendale princess thought it only appropriate that she, too, would get down to continue their journey to the castle. Sereda was not someone who had many friends, or really understood how it was someone came to have friends. The princess had her siblings and cousins and that was enough for her. She followed the prince with Shayna, but had watched as she sent her horse home. Her caravan mingled with the town, getting the occasional comment on their wings. Sereda's wings were limp, hanging down her back in an attempt to not grab attention.

As it was, both Shayna and Sereda did gain attention as they walked. Two of the princesses were just strolling through town with their youngest prince, something they anticipated and were anxious for. The people kept their distance and Sereda kept her chin up just slightly, looking to everything in a manner than hid how curious she truly felt. After a little ways, Sereda turned her head to Shayna, "Do you think it is in their nature to stare?" After all, Ren had stared at them for a small time, judging them, she presumed. And the other, disinterested prince stared at them as well. And the townspeople, of course!

Unmei sighed, "You're right If It had been one of the others I might have the same feelings for them. But at the same time I can safely say that I wouldn't have. Because I wouldn't have gone out to greet them in the first place. The only reason I was even there, Was because I have heard about your personality. If I hadn't, I never would have flown out to your airship. The soul reason I was out there, is you." And then Unmei sighed again. "Unlike others, I do not judge someones' worth by their appearance. I judge by their personality and actions. It was your personality that made me leave the castle to escort the airship in the first place. I do not dare assume that you would care for me without first meeting my brothers. But Know that If you were to care for me, I would happily be with you where ever you wanted to live, whether it be in Trystal or Draconem, or any other place you could name." Then the prince smiled as they reached the stairs. Her reaction had been exactly as he had expected, and thusly exactly why he liked her.

Unmei took a deep breathe and said, "I will be having tea shortly. You are welcome to join me, and should you take a fancy to one of my brothers then I would happily have you as a sister and friend instead of my bride. You are not a possession. You are a person." Then a few moments later he said, "We're almost there. These steps open into the courtyard."
