The group that Val was working with right now was...different. Val herself didn't know much about them if she was being honest, they hired her and she accepted only because they had asked for her directly and even offered a pretty nice lump sum of cash up front to her for her services. It was the perfect job for her. Money was everything after all, wasn't it? It was quite unfortunate however, that her usefulness in her current state spanned about as far as being the best sensory mercenary they could find. Val's abilities in that regard were only matched by the Hyuuga as far as she was concerned...and even then she would probably claim herself as better than them. It was fine though, as part of her job was merely location first, the group of people that hired her told her they would give more details after since she took on a two part job. Her mercenaries would have to hold down the fort at her place of work until she got back, it was fine...they were competent enough.
She found these people described to her...well the one person described to her at least. Currently one of the cloaked figures that hired her had engaged the group they were looking for almost immediately. She had shaken her head when she realized the figure was gone from her side and reached into one of her pockets to pull out a small golden coin. Value-less, but there for her little habit. Flipping the coin every so often, she would close her single eye. The eyepatch covering the other socket would glow and she would watch from afar....very afar. To her everything was happening as if she were right in front of them, standing there in the middle of the attack. Meanwhile her actual position was something like four...maybe five rooftops away from them. "They're all interesting I guess..." She muttered to herself.
She wasn't one for wishing to take on fame...however she did at least need to make herself known. Perhaps in a much more fun way than the cloaked man had, well fun for her at least. Messing with them would be more fun than outright trying to fight them. The coin in her hand flipped into the air just slightly above her hand and as soon as it next came down after she made that decision it flipped once more. This time it would begin to arc, travelling in front of her...slowly....and ridiculously high at that. The coin had a blue-purple glow covering it as it spun through the air. Due to how far away she was it would take a while for the coin to reach, but it would eventually do exactly that. The coin would flip through the air until it would eventually fall directly between the cloaked figure she had snuck into the village during the village's various other forms of commotion and the group of people who would also be able to see her form if they had chosen to look around at the rooftops to see where the coin had come from.

tabIto smirked at the Kaguya and pointed to her Sharingan. โPowered up these babies the other day, turns out they got a bunch of fancy new tricks.โ She answered. Her voice carried a mix of pride and arrogance as her pink eyes reflected the black fire. Within their short time together, Ito hadnโt seen Rabu utilize their skills as a Kaguya, so seeing them create a large weapon of bone was still impressive if not slightly creepy. But the pink haired woman figured her associate would be able to get the job down, so she crossed her arms over her chest with her scythe hanging loosely in the crook of her arm. โSeems like weโre back to where we should be.โ She said as she idly watched Rabu go for the swing. It felt like a weight had lifted from her shoulders, one that Ito didnโt even know was there, after such an easy victory. โToo many losses for our reputation lately, so go ahead and clean house quickly Rabu.โ
Ito let out a curious hum as a coin entered her field of vision. She watched it fall to the floor in slow motion with the heightened perception of her Sharingan. Her mind raced in the slowed time, trying to figure out where it came from. Random occurrence? No. Enemy? But why? And where? It was enough of a distraction to the demon host that she almost missed what happened next. The coin hit the floor with a chime and it felt like the world rushed back to normal speed.
The cloaked figure moved from their crumpled position, ditching the flaming cloak as they moved at Shunshin speeds. โRabu! Watch out!โ Was all Ito could get out before something stopped her. A sharp, bladed something shooting by her face and cutting into her cheek. Blood dripped from the wound created by a blade of pure electricity, chirping with the frequency of a multitude of birds. Ito could barely make out the form of a person just within her peripherals, but the chakra she could see was the same as the figure sheโd fought.
The previously cloaked attacker stood a distance away from Rabu: a woman with pink hair and blood red Sharingan. Sheโd finish a string of signs and gesture with her hand just before the ground around the Kaguya would crack and erupt into shrapnel before large stakes shot from the roof. Each stake was about as large as Rabu was, filling the air with the smell of rusting metal as they went to impale her at blinding, impossibly quick speeds. Coming at her from different angles, they would stab the white haired shinobi with an interlocking pattern meant to hold the Kaguya in place despite their strength.
Kizuri was soon to follow after Rabu, though she would walk towards the door in no real hurry and sticking her head outwards. "And just when you thought two people was enough, I show up!" Her entrance was a little bit less than subtle, as she would quickly take her place next towards Ito and Rabu. She came in just in time to see the small fry display her talents for creative all sorts of fun stuff out of bones that would just pop out of her skin like that. Color her impressed. "Hope they taste better than you do." Kizuri dryly commented just as the sound of crackling lightning would whizz right on by the magenta haired boss lady. The sheer speed had caused Kizuri to do a double take at Ito's stopping power. "I've gotcha, don't you worry." Kizuri sped on towards the figure, forming a snake hand sign while her mouth filled with her clan's noxious poison and spitting out out towards the attacker as she hoped to get close enough for a simple grapple.

Genjutsu that are cast by those of this specialization are more efficient as according to the user's body rank, all Genjutsu are [10] Chakra cheaper to perform with the user's specialized Focus are further reduced by another [5] Chakra per body rank. No cost can be lower than a minimum of [5] Chakra. Once every other post all three of the genjutsu specialist's activations in a post can be used for genjutsu.
โณ Master of Deception: With genjutsu, realism and the sensory ability of the target factor heavily into the ability of the victim to realize they are in a genjutsu. The illusionist chooses [1] Sense of Specialization that will render a genjutsu cost [1] rank less if the casted genjutsu's primary sense is their specialization. Genjutsu that use the illusionist's Sense of Specialization as the primary sense become resistant to the sensory powers of sages and non-Infinite Perception discipline scholars. This resistance means that the genjutsu will go unnoticed from these abilities. Since the illusionist has become so adept in their Sense of Specialization they may always weave it into genjutsu as an Additional Sense unless it would bring the illusion's sensory control above the [5] limit. The illusionist may also always select any Additional Sense that is not their Sense of Specialization to add to a genjutsu as long as it does not exceed the cap of [5] manipulated senses.
Sense of Specialization: Sound โณ Lasting Hypnosis: The user's genjutsu prowess has achieved a heightened level of potency and lingers for longer. The primary sense of any genjutsu that was released using Kai lingers for [1] additional post. This residual effect is minor because the manipulation of the target with the technique has ended. For example, a complete darkness sight genjutsu that was dispelled may leave the lingering feeling that the world is still a bit darker than it is in reality. If a genjutsu used a mental status effect then it will linger for [1] post longer at one level below what it was before at a minimum of level one. Originally level one mental status effects are too weak to linger. The base duration of your genjutsu are increased by [1] post at E-C, [2] at B-A, and [3] at S and above. Instance genjutsu are not affected by an increase of duration but instead cannot be dispelled by kai and only by pain. Genjutsu upkeep lessens by [5] Chakra per body rank and non-Instant are applied with overwhelming, requiring lingering genjutsu to use [1.5x] the resource to Kai.
โณ Kurama: Sakkakugan owners are typically physically fragile. The Sakkakugan is able to see the life-force of a demon inside it's host even when it is hidden by a seal. Genjutsu rank D - C cost [5] less chakra to perform. Genjutsu rank B - A cost [10] less chakra to perform. Genjutsu rank S cost [20] less chakra to perform. Kai costs [10] less chakra to perform.
โณ Sakkakugan Abilities: Life Sense: Within 100 meters, any type of life is able to be seen as a bright glow, when even the Byakugan cannot see it. Potent Illusions: Genjutsu performed while Sakkakugan is active are treated to cost an extra [5] chakra per rank of the genjutsu to Kai Sixth Sense as the First: With a stationary body, the user can detach his vision and walk around to look at things. Cannot physically move during this. The Gift of Life: The user may trade their life for another's, resurrecting them if they were recently killed.
โณ Personal Attributes: Abolishing Sight: All techniques labeled 'weakness' have their duration increased by [1] post. Interweaving Fairytales: Because the Sakkakugan is so adept at weaving genjutsu together they are afforded a unique version of self korabo which is done in place of a normal korabo between two illusions. When more than one genjutsu is on the target their ranks are shifted so that the lower ranked genjutsus get their strength bumped up to highest ranked genjutsu on the target for the rest of it's duration. This is only useable up to the users self ranked korabo level and each genjutsu is still treated as separate when interacting with kai. Any upkeeps are also increased to reflect this change. Otherwordly Imagery: Genjutsu performed by Emiko cannot be mimicked or reversed by any means. ( Genjutsu can still be broken, however. ) Mental Break: Emiko is able to use each Sakkakugan's "weakness" techniques twice instead of once. Doubtful Whispers: With her focus on auditory hallucinations, Emiko is able to cast any genjutsu through the sense of sound. Vicarious Visions: When a genjutsu deals with any elemental status that can be attributed, the target will suffer from the tier that is one rank below of the genjutsu cast. Any resources afflicted are only temporary, and given back when the genjutsu is kai'd or broken through some other means.

Chai dreamed of the hot springs. He saw heathens on all ends, surrounding him, while he was stuck in boiling hot water. The steam made it difficult to make out the Jashinists as anything other than silhouettes. Chai was wearing his clothing, but his pockets were empty. His pockets were empty and he was without his sand timer. He had no anchor to his faith and he felt farther from Zelel than he'd been before he had found salvation in Zelel's teachings. The silhouettes surrounded him with scythes and knives and serrated blades. The clawed and stabbed and gutted him while he was unable to move from the boiling water, unable to speak out, unable to take solace in his own ephemeral existence in the embrace of Zelel because his lungs only filled with the stale breath of Jashin's nihilism.
He woke up with a gasp, hand grasping at his chest instinctively as he sat up and looked around, wild eyed.
tab It all happened in a matter of seconds. They'd failed to cleave the woman apart. Ito's warning would prove to be Rabu's undoing, the words prompting them to take a defensive position. Their emerald eyes focusing on the woman's. The sharingan caused an immediate worry in the back of their mind. Anything could happen, so they'd prepared for the unexpected. It wouldn't be long however, those hands started to move and Rabu bolted toward them. Their shoes tapped as they did their best to clear the distance before they were finishing signing. What happened next halted the short, dressed up, Kaguya in their tracks. They had no time to react, no time to slip out of the way. One moment the roof was flat and intact and the next moment it was full of terrifying they're abdomen was full of a lot more metal and iron oxide then it was a second before.
tab Rabu's eyes went wide, Maeko could feel every bit of what just happened. Their thoughts were both racing, 'WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?' Rabu screamed inside their head. Maeko could only respond with a shaky, 'I-I'm gonna be sick...' Trembling hands gripped a now trembling blade. Their free hand moving to feel at their belly. Slick, wet, hot and rough from the rusty metal. The pain was so real, so blindingly hot. Rabu would suddenly retch whatever breakfast they'd had an hour or so before. Bloody bile and half dissolved food hit the ground. With a shaky head she'd peer at the attacker ahead of them, growling around the pain. Pain was starting to dull, compared to the anger and frenzied wrath that was starting to bubble up inside the small framed person. "YOU THINK THIS CAN STOP ME YOU INSUFFERABLE SOW?!" They'd let their sword absorb back into their hand, the huge thing quickly disappearing. Both hands gripped the spike stabbing into their belly. Gritting their teeth from the pain, they'd try to move it. Using every ounce of strength they had. Underneath the dress shirt they had on, muscles corded and tensed, a vein on their head throbbed, sweat beaded their brow. But to no avail. However, the gears were turning in that dome of theirs, something about this whole situation was off. Thoughts would continue to race through their head.

tabThe cloaked figure behind Ito would engage with Kizuri, but only long enough to deal with the oncoming acid. But it would be enough of a distraction to help Ito out by a lot. The form of the pink haired bandit would shatter into a multitude of glass shards before the attacker. Reflections in the glass would reveal Ito to be standing behind her captor, her pink Mangekyo Sharingan in full display. Using her reflection in the glass, Ito would lock eyes with the target and instantly trap them inside of a Genjutsu of her own creation. A world of red and black, where only the cloaked person and Ito existed, the only thing marking them being a white outline and the womanโs pink Sharingan. โHmmmm, how about you try this one on for size.โ Ito pondered, tapping her chin as black spikes shot from the ground, pinning her victim in place. โOh, I know!โ The woman snapped her fingers and four sawblades, each the size of an average child, appeared on each side of the person. โThese glass blades will shred you to pieces over the next four days, all while breaking off and leaving glass shards lodged in your insides. Oh! Just in case you wanted to watch.โ As the blades began to whir and close in on Itoโs victim, she snapped her fingers and the immediate area was filled with hundreds of versions of the cloaked figure and their punishment. Each one of them being ripped and repaired around the saw blades that cut into them. After what would feel like an eternity, Itoโs voice would ring out. โNinety-five hours, fifty-nine minutes, and fifty-nine seconds left~โ
Back in the real world, Ito stood over the body of the one dumb enough to corner her. โThanks for the save.โ She said to Kizuri. The pink haired woman turned back to the one Rabu was meant to kill. With a smirk she lifted her scythe and casually put it across her shoulders, loosely wrapping her wrists around the pole. โYouโre not the only one here with some sweet eyes, girlie.โ She called out, narrowing her eyes as her mouth turned up into a cruel smirk. โNow gimme back my subordinate and Iโll trade you for yours. And trust me when I say that my Jutsu is far worse.โ
The woman with the regular red Sharingan would glare at Ito, who would strut to put herself between Rabu and their attacker. She said nothing, but Ito could see that the girlโs chakra would die down, indicating that her Genjutsu was released. The TORNA leader wordlessly held an arm out before Rabu could blitz the woman, turning off her own Jutsu. โI see TORNA is just as good as the stories say. Thoughโฆ shouldnโt there be another Uchiha with you?โ The nameless woman asked, looking around.
โWeโve had some staffing reorganizing recently. Now who are you?โ
โMy name is Yuno Uchiha, and Iโve had my eye on you all for some time now. Iโm sorry for such a brash introduction, but I needed to see if you all were as good as they say.โ Yuno whistled and jerked her head, indicating to Val that she could join the group on the roof.
While everything was going down, Val was simply watching observing. Pretty much the exact thing she had been brought here to do anyways. She thought herself a bit lucky at least though. Had she needed to fight any of these people, especially with all of her weaponry off being worked on, she would surely be hospitalized at the very least. Money bought her everything, but life wasn't one of those things. That being said at the very least now she knew that these wouldn't be the people to betray for the sake of more coin. After everything had calmed it was indicated she could now approach the group of them safely. With that option now on the table she would do exactly that. Her position from far away would quickly become a position much closer. Leaping the few roofs away she had been until finally she would reach the place the rest of them stood on. However of course...before anything else she seemed to make her way towards the coin she had flung from the roof she was standing on originally. Picking it up and then flipping it into the air before snatching it out of the air with a smile. "Name's Val, was hired by this one to find ya, and I guess for something else too." She spoke, "Was pretty hard too."
tab In a matter of moments, the spikes dissipated and the pain slipped from their mind like it'd never been there. They felt their belly with both hands, making sure there were no holes where there'd previously been rusty metal. Even their vomit was gone. Rabu's teeth gritted, their hands were balled up into tight fists and primal rage roared like fire in their emerald eyes. Ito was right to move their arm, had it been anyone else they would have plowed through it and continued their fight. But it was Ito, so they'd take a deep breath and collect themself. "Uggghhhh I hate genjutsu..." They'd whine, listening to their Boss and this Yuno person talk.
tab"If that's the case, then I take it you used mindtricks on purpose, to deal with little old me?" Rabu asked with a smirk, arms crossing. "Next time if you wanna test me, you should keep the Genjutsu to a minimum. I could have shown you something really fun!~" The kaguya boasted, eyes locked on Yuno, before Val joined the group on the roof. They'd look the lady over, before responding. "Good to know it wasn't easy."

Chai focused on re-centering his breathing as fighting or some other chaos seemed to break out in another part of the building. He hadn't had a nightmare in years. He almost exclusively enjoyed dreamless sleep, never recollecting whatever dreams occurred if they did. It was the ideal time for his travelling mind to reset at 'home', and now... it was just unsettling for a dozen reasons.
When he felt more human and more grounded in reality, he rose to his feet. There was much less of a ruckus occurring, so he felt confident flickering to the roof top, ending up behind Ito. He didn't catch the tail-end of the conversation, so he looked between everyone and tried to piece things together himself, but truly anything could have been happening. Konoha seemed to be a place where crazy things happened all of the time. "So..." he said as he tucked his hands into the pockets of the body suit he'd borrowed from Kizuri, "what exactly is going on here?"
The poison of her clan would sail through the air and take up most of the figure's attention, leaving it free for the pink haired woman to do her thing. After her magic was worked, the snake giorl would stretched a little and cross her hands on the back of her head nonchalantly. Upon hearing that little praise from boss, she shot her a grin. "No problem, cutie. Glad I could help you snake your way into his mind, kekekek." A short little tongue poke from her mouth came as the other woman who had taken the small fry from them would be across from the two. A deal was struck while poor Rabu would be suffering from who knows what kind of torture before it was lifted. Their target, Yuno, would make it clear what she had been seeking to do just throwing off a genjutsu at TORNA or something. Kizuri wasn't really paying attention. She was far too busy thinking about snake things. But a whistle would summon forth another person to the party. She had a badass sort of appeal that made Kizuri pretty interested. The hair color caused her to assume that some daddy issues were present but who was a former pit fighter turned hardened criminal to judge? The tats were nice and breasts weren't too bad either. ALl in all, pretty solid contender for a Destined One she hoped could be eventually. "Well, can't be insanely difficult. It's not like you guys are shadows or anything if you're picking out bum holes in the wall to sleep in."
Rabu would finally snap out of whatever little genjutsu she would be in, Kizuri reaching down to ruffle the hair on her head a little. Even for just coming out of an illusion, she was as energetic and willing to go all out for a good show. "Welcome back, squirt. Maybe next time you'll get to go bonkers of the enemy, hm?~" do not remove, layout+coding by lunagenisis.

Selecting a Path grants [3] additional custom slots and [1] keystone for techniques of that category. Genjutsu that are cast by those of this specialization are more efficient as according to the user's body rank, all Genjutsu are [10] Chakra cheaper to perform with the user's specialized Focus are further reduced by another [5] Chakra per body rank. No cost can be lower than a minimum of [5] Chakra. Once every other post all three of the genjutsu specialist's activations in a post can be used for genjutsu.
โณ Master of Deception: With genjutsu, realism and the sensory ability of the target factor heavily into the ability of the victim to realize they are in a genjutsu. The illusionist chooses [1] Sense of Specialization that will render a genjutsu cost [1] rank less if the casted genjutsu's primary sense is their specialization. Genjutsu that use the illusionist's Sense of Specialization as the primary sense become resistant to the sensory powers of sages and non-Infinite Perception discipline scholars. This resistance means that the genjutsu will go unnoticed from these abilities. Since the illusionist has become so adept in their Sense of Specialization they may always weave it into genjutsu as an Additional Sense unless it would bring the illusion's sensory control above the [5] limit. The illusionist may also always select any Additional Sense that is not their Sense of Specialization to add to a genjutsu as long as it does not exceed the cap of [5] manipulated senses.
Sense of Specialization: Sound โณ Lasting Hypnosis: The user's genjutsu prowess has achieved a heightened level of potency and lingers for longer. The primary sense of any genjutsu that was released using Kai lingers for [1] additional post. This residual effect is minor because the manipulation of the target with the technique has ended. For example, a complete darkness sight genjutsu that was dispelled may leave the lingering feeling that the world is still a bit darker than it is in reality. If a genjutsu used a mental status effect then it will linger for [1] post longer at one level below what it was before at a minimum of level one. Originally level one mental status effects are too weak to linger. The base duration of your genjutsu are increased by [1] post at E-C, [2] at B-A, and [3] at S and above. Instance genjutsu are not affected by an increase of duration but instead cannot be dispelled by kai and only by pain. Potent Illusions: Genjutsu performed while Sakkakugan is active are treated to cost an extra [5] chakra per rank of the genjutsu to Kai Sixth Sense as the First: With a stationary body, the user can detach his vision and walk around to look at things. Cannot physically move during this. The Gift of Life: The user may trade their life for another's, resurrecting them if they were recently killed.
โณ Personal Attributes: Abolishing Sight: All techniques labeled 'weakness' have their duration increased by [1] post. Interweaving Fairytales: Because the Sakkakugan is so adept at weaving genjutsu together they are afforded a unique version of self korabo which is done in place of a normal korabo between two illusions. When more than one genjutsu is on the target their ranks are shifted so that the lower ranked genjutsus get their strength bumped up to highest ranked genjutsu on the target for the rest of it's duration. This is only useable up to the users self ranked korabo level and each genjutsu is still treated as separate when interacting with kai. Any upkeeps are also increased to reflect this change. Otherwordly Imagery: Genjutsu performed by Emiko cannot be mimicked or reversed by any means. ( Genjutsu can still be broken, however. ) Mental Break: Emiko is able to use each Sakkakugan's "weakness" techniques twice instead of once. Doubtful Whispers: With her focus on auditory hallucinations, Emiko is able to cast any genjutsu through the sense of sound. Vicarious Visions: When a genjutsu deals with any elemental status that can be attributed, the target will suffer from the tier that is one rank below of the genjutsu cast. Any resources afflicted are only temporary, and given back when the genjutsu is kai'd or broken through some other means.

This prompted Itoโs smirk to widen and she snickered lightly but she didnโt say anything. Not even when Chai asked what was going on. โIt was fairly difficult, but a pink haired Uchiha wasnโt as hard to find as you might think. Especially not toting around a Bijuu.โ That wiped the smirk from the banditโs face and replaced it with a furrowed brow fairly quickly. โDonโt act so surprised. A non-Kage seals one of those beasts inside of herself? Itโs bound to make the news in certain circles. And as for you; Iโm here to ask you all for a job, young Zelelist.โ Yuno continued. Behind Ito the cloak figured stirred, rising to their feet and walking over to the side of their boss as if they werenโt mentally tortured for however long. They slid the hood back, revealing a man with a bald head and a face covered in scars. He scowled at TORNA, stone faced and careful.
โThanks but no thanks.โ Ito turned her head away from Yuno, closing her eyes with a look of disinterest. Something about this woman screamed bad news. โWeโre in the middle of a job so we arenโt taking commissions right now.โ
โAre you sure thatโs a good idea?โ Yunoโs question instantly snapped Itoโs attention back to her. โYouโre hiding from Konoha authorities inside their village. I wouldnโt think itโs smart to reject someone who knows where you all are.โ
โThen what if we just killed you?โ Ito swung her scythe out, placing the curve of the blade up against Yunoโs neck. The bandit leader held her weapon in place, drawing a small trickle of blood from the womanโs neck โRight here, and right now.โ
โCould you?โ Yuno answered casually, not breaking eye contact with Ito for a single moment. She seemed unfazed and her composure was unbroken. It was enough to make the Jinchuriki doubt, just for a moment, that TORNA had seen what these two were capable of yet. Ito clicked her teeth in frustration and lifted her weapon, hefting the pole back over her shoulder.
โFine, what do you want?โ
โI have some targets Iโd like you to kill. A family of Senju that exist in the upper echelons of society that plague the village they live in like a cancer.โ Yuno answered as she tossed a folder to Ito, who caught it with a curious look. โTheyโre responsible for the deaths of my family, so I want them eliminated. Simple.โ
โSo why ask us? Seems kind of a personal thing.โ Ito replied as she slid the folder open.
โBecause I believe this family to be of interest to you as well.โ The scythe wielder scanned the inside of the document, noting a map and pictures of the targets. And then she saw it. The family name.
Ito snapped the folder shut and her mouth turned up. Her smirk was back in full force. โAnd whatโs in it for us?โ
Yuno made a motion with her head and the man she was with produced a case made of metal. She gently took it and opened it up, revealing to the group a series of syringes all with different labels. โI work in the acquisition of bloodlines and transplants. I can offer you all one of your choosing upon the jobโs completion.โ Yuno shifted her cold gaze back to Rabu, staring at them thoughtfully. โIโll even give one to the loud mouth over there, free of charge as a show of good faith. What do you say?โ

They'd blush a little, enjoying the ruffle a bit more than Kizuri might have imagined they would. Only to get upset and annoyed. "Huff! J-Just you wait and see! Hmmmph!" Their arms would cross, and they'd tug themselves away from the pit fighter. Then Rabu's head cocked back, hearing Chai's flicker, fizzle as his form appeared behind Ito. She'd smirk real big, eyes looking him over. "Good morning, sleepy head." They'd stick their tongue out at him, jokingly. Then Yuno's words grinded in the Kaguya's ears like glass. Their arms fell to their sides and their fists gripped tight enough their knuckles were white. "Watch your tone, or I'll turn you into a bloody mess." The Kaguya's voice was emotionless and full of malice, without fear they stared straight into those genjutsu filled eyes of the Uchiha. They ignored the snicker from their boss, it was more like throwing gasoline on a raging fire, it just made the anger worse.
tab Fortunately for Yuno, Ito made it a point to stop Rabu earlier. That was the only thing stopping the crazy bone girl from thrashing the genjutsu user. They'd cross their arms and stand beside Ito, listening to them talk and listening to what Yuno had to offer the group. The mention of straight up murdering the Yuno's posse prompted a sick grin from Rabu. Only for it to turn into grimace, a loud 'Tch...' slipped from their lips in response to the sow's 'Could you?' They'd keep their trap shut other than that annoyed noise though, out of respect for the Boss. Thoughthe prospect of getting paid to murder some people, it brought that sick smile back. Rabu's green eyes watched Ito as she went through the Mission files. The look on her face only fired up Rabu more, 'This mission is gonna be fun, I just know it.' Rabu thought to themself. 'Don't get carried away, idiot.' Maeko's voice spoke up in that dome of Rabu's, attempting to get a rise out of them. 'Shut up, and just enjoy the ride, baka.' They watched Yuno's subordinate, eyeing the contents of the case. Her eyes falling on the fabled Ignition bloodline, its syringe seemed to call to her. The sick smile, turning into a cheshire cat grin. They'd only heard the stories, "Maybe I was wrong about you, Yuno, buddy old pal. Where are these tree lovers at, I'll send them straight to hell for you!~" A sly grin slipped across their face, eye's still locked on that syringe. A smirk would break and kicked up dust would replace where Rabu once stood. They were standing beside the man with the briefcase, syringe in hand. They'd swiped it and a moment later, the needle would be stabbed into their forearm. Their thumb pressed the plunger down. "Just think of this as an advance payment for our work!~" For now though, the Kaguya didn't feel too much different.

Aw, cute! The little bonehead here had a soft spot for getting her hair teased. Kizuri snickered mischievously to herself at her little pout and forcing her herself away from the ruffle. Kids just said the darnest things these days! Anyway, what were they doing? Oh yeah, this weirdo who was searching for TORNA and his big booby sidekick. Their pinky haired leader would take the lead in interrogating the guy while everyone stood around and watched, listening to his little story. He had a bit of homework from them, an assassination of some kind. Kizu leaned forward while rocking back on forth on her heels. Call it an instinct, but she wasn't one for just standing still all the time. You had to be ready to react to the tiniest little movement if your enemy could catch you slacking off and take advantage of it. Still, a chance to have some funsies with the gang here sounded right up her alley! She was itching to see what Pretty Boy here could do with himself. Boss Lady didn't seem like the type to dirty her fingers, much less find them wrapped around her neck, for as hot as an idea that was.
Their buyer even offered to throw in a free implant with their little reward as a bonus. The squirt seemed in happy spirits about this, though Kizuri was a bit less than thrilled. Not like she could get any more half breed than she already was. Plus, snakes were cool enough for her. Even that weird eye thing that would give her migraines at times. "It sounds like a good offer, but sure as hell sounds sketch." Kizuri said, pacing around back and forth while enjoying the view of the man who was enjoying himself in her body suit. Hopefully Pinky wouldn't get her panties in a bunch over a quick looksie. She spun back around on her heel, her bare feet slapping against the ground while pursing her lips in playful thought. "But then again, we get to ******** up some rich a*****e AND steal all his stuff! If there's one thing I love besides terrorizing the rich and snakes,...well, it's still terrorizing the rich. They don't have rights anyway~" The woman smirked, bringing her fists together while her snake-like tongue slithered out of her mouth in a playful manner. "Count me in!"

โIโll be waiting.โ Yuno said with a not-quite-sarcastic tone. โAlso, young man.โ She turned to Chai before producing a small cloud of smoke. Once it dissipated, Yuno was carrying a spare set of clothes. โI figure you might want something more comfortable. I always carry a pair for Morgan here.โ She said, indicating the large man next to her. โMiss Val, if you would accompany them on this mission. Help them get it done. Theyโre the Mikasa family of Senju, so theyโre quite formidable.โ
โOh, I know.โ Itoโs face, while the members of TORNA could see it, was twisted into a smirk. The knuckles on her hand went white as she gripped her scythe so hard that it was shaking audibly. โIโm looking forward to burning them down a notch or two.โ
Once everyone was ready, Ito flung her jacket around her shoulders and moved to the edge of the roof. โTeam TORNA, we got a job to do, letโs move!โ She ordered before disappearing at a speed everyone else could still follow.
After some travel, Ito and the squad looked over the plot of land that housed their targets. The estate was pretty massive, encompassing the size of a few village blocks. โVal, right? Youโre a sensory type, yeah? Think you can keep an eye out for us? Chai can link us mentally, so we can talk better.โ As she spoke, the TORNA leader opened the folder out so everyone could see it. Inside were pictures and descriptions of each member of the Mikasa family. All except one, Ito mentally noted, which would be unsurprising. Usagi would be frolicking in Tanigakure these days. โAbout half a dozen targets, looks like. Standard Wood Release users. Any questions?โ
Seemed that she was hired not only to find people, but to assist in an assassination job. Val looked at the group that would be doing the assassinationing and well...yeah from what she could tell they could definitely get the job done. She had no reason to doubt them, after all they fought fairly well against her current employer after all. Although she knew this could be made a lot easier if she had managed to finish fixing her weapon before they found her and brought her but that was besides the point. Nothing wrong with letting others get their hands a little bloody instead of having all the blood on her hands. Each of her new allies seemed to have a different take on the mission....but it all amounted to. 'Time to ******** s**t up.' from Val's perspective. The tan skinned woman would look towards her employer with a smile and a thumbs up. "Aye, of course Sir." She said, seemingly on purpose, addressing Yuno as sir regardless as it was just...how she addressed them. "They seem fun anyway, got nothin ta worry bout for bein bored." Looking towards her new allies once more, assessing them.
Val's smile seemed to have a hint of something more in it. Perhaps intrigue one could call it. Two rather bloodthirsty...thinking about the woman who might as well have screamed 'My favorite color is purple.' Even if it wasn't her favorite color. Claiming the rich have no rights which Val laughed about. The white haired kaguya....kid? Definitely seemed almost like all they were out to do was fight anyways. However also noticing the twisted smirk on the pink haired demon host's face, Val thought to herself once more to correct her assessment. Three rather bloodthirsty fighters so to speak. Yeah interesting indeed.
Following after the group of them Val would find herself addressed directly by Ito. Requesting the woman to keep an eye out for them as they likely intended on storming the building to accomplish their job. Val laughed and tapped her glowing eyepatch as she spoke. "Aye, got the best eye for doin exactly that." She said to Ito with a grin. "If for any reason I can't speak with y'all and somethin happens...well you'll know my sign when ya see it." She said to them, flipping the same coin she had flung from many buildings away earlier then retrieved after Yuno had finished testing them.
