The remaining of the first hour had been unremarkable for the pair. As the second hour began, Sorentia couldn't help but worry about the remaining seven hours. It will be all right. This is what we have trained to do. Sorentia was about to respond when she spotted some Thread and turned to burn it instead. With a sigh she settled in her seat and waited.

This time Sorentia wasn't fast enough and a small piece of Thread, so small it was clearly left over from someone trying to burn it above, hit Riamsoth's wing. Jumping between took care of the issue and the small pain Riamsoth had was nothing compared to what it could have been. I barely felt it. She assured her rider.

Riamsoth spotted the Thread this time first. She angled her body just so and Sorentia was able to burn the Thread before it got past them. This line of defense was not going to let anything get through!

It was a sudden rough gust of wind that nearly caused upset, and Terasath beat her wings furiously to keep her place. Fatigue was beginning to threaten her, but Ophina encouraged her with soft strokes and gentle words.

Pemli noticed a clump of Thread and asked Ningesth to lower her down to it. She felt as her beloved gold dove down, allowing her to get her flamethrower in position and turn it into ash. She smiled softly, glad to know they managed to deal with it before it hurt anyone on the ground.

Beautiful work, Mine,Ningesth congratulated.

1) 47. 46-50. You suddenly see a clump of Thread. Your dragon wheels towards
it. With a flash of hot fire, you manage to catch the whole clump, and turn it into harmless ash. And they say the Queen's Wing doesn't do anything, pfft.
You'll prove them you're just as worthwhile as any of the fighting wings. Well done! +1 Flame Length

2) 93. 93-97. Your dragon is starting to feel tired. This particular fight is wearing them down. A strong gust of winds tries to throw them out of their position. Roll a D4 to see what happens!
3- Failure! Your dragon is blown out of formation. They struggle and flap against the wind, and only are able to recover when the wind dies down, feeling more exhausted than before. Worse, you think they may have pulled a muscles in their wing arm! Best watch it. [Light Damage -1 HP ]

3) 53. 51-55. You keep looking up, but nothing seems to be heading your way. Your neck is starting to object, but it doesn't matter. You must be ever vigilant, or so the saying goes. The Queen's Wing is an important position, but it sure can be boring... Part of you wishes you could be higher up, where all the action is. Part of you is grateful you're safer down here.

2) 28. 26-28. Well, not much is happening. Either the Wings are doing their job, or things are mighty quiet. You know your thoughts shouldn't wander or stray.... but you look away for a moment, stretching your neck, and resettling yourself on your dragons back. Unfortunately, things happen quickly. Your dragon lets out a shriek of pain as you're hit with Thread! You hadn't seen it fall from behind, too far back from where your dragon could see. Roll a D4 for Damage!

Pemli was happy they had been able to help some of their wingmates, but their job was not done. She noticed some more Thread and Ningesth immediately dove down to it. Pemli got her flamethrower ready again, as Ningesth got her close and then she flamed it down.

Things are looking up,Ningesth cheered. Hopefully this would help her rider feel better about earlier.
