Edalla knew they couldn't rest, anything else could happen, and she was right. She spotted another wingmate that was too close to some Thread and she directed Moilath's attention to it. The green dove towards the Thread and made a beautiful roll, to reduce the Thread to ash.

I am glad we got to help more of our wing,Moilath thought as she pulled herself right.

You are doing beautifully,Edalla assured her green.

Edalla thought they were doing beautifully, but it seemed it had been going a little too well. She must have missed seeing the clump before the popped Between, because when they came out, there it was surrounding them. Both she and Moilath screamed in pain, before blinking Between. When they came back out moments later, she had been scored along her right leg and arm and Moilath along her back.

We should have you looked at,Edalla spoke, more worried about her green.

Both of us, I can feel your pain too, Edallamine,Moilath spoke, before she followed her rider's coordinates back down to the bowl to see the healers.

With a cheerful wave to Fahn and Alenciath for the firestone, Nonami was quite happy to pass along more firestone to Negoncath. Though it wasn't long into the green munching down on the stone before her tongue slipped and was crunched instead, pain blooming as they spat out the firestone to soothe their tongue. Oh, ouch...

As they shifted down to the low altitude a bit of Thread slipped past unawares to Turoth and Ar'ad. They only became aware of it when when it landed on Turoth's neck. Though they jumped Between in time to freeze it off, the bronze was still in pain when they emerged and would be for a few minutes at least.

The burst of wind was still dangerous, even at this lower altitude. Negoncath, for as mighty as she tried to be, was blown put of formation. Muzzle over tail as she tried to fight and correct herself -- but the tangle of thread smacking into her wing made the green cry out in pain. It bit down into her wingsails, and Nonami urged her to go between.

But upon reemerging, Negoncath barked in alarm as she realized that thread had eaten her wingsail to the point where it couldn't keep her aloft. The little green bobbled and try as she might, one wing couldn't keep her aloft and she began to drop like a stone.

Nonami's eyes stung, tears gathered as they pulled themself in and braced, keeping ahold of Negoncath in her white-eyed panic and hoped a queen would catch them. It was hard to keep their own fright tampered down, but focused on trying to keeo their dragon calm. 'Hang on Negoncath!'

Terasath did not shy away from her duty, even as her hearts cried out in sympathy for the poor green. She wanted so badly to help, and rose like a golden arrow. Ophina watched Negoncath's downwards trajectory, hoping any last second adjustments would not catch the gold off-guard. Terasath was prepared, and positioned herself well, the green landing on her back without extra pain or stress.

Back to the bowl! Although Terasath did not need telling, Ophina hoped the focus would keep her from sorrow or sympathetic pain for her fallen kin. Terasath tended to... Dwell on things like this.

Edalla was thinking how much the wind was against them, after their wingleader made a mistake that got a few of them hurt. Moilath again reminded that Threadfall was unpredictable, to calm her rider's anger. Thankfully, Thread would keep them busy, so they weren't thinking long on it anyway. Edalla felt as Moilath went after a small clump of Thread, unfortunately the wind proved once more not to be their friend. It was pushing the Thread in their direction and it was upon them too quickly to avoid it. A cry of pain from Moilath was heard as it hit her neck, before she had to guide her dragon into Between. She waited long enough for the cold to kill the Thread, before jumping back to formation.

Are you okay, Moilath?she asked in a gentle voice that she used for her beloved dragon.

I..I think so. It hurts still, but we can keep going, the green assured. She didn't want to disappoint Edalla, though she knew her rider never was in her.
