Esakita Um first off I agree with BlueBoo, if you wanted an intelligent conversation about Vampires, you probably should have spelled the header correctly.
Secondly, I think the whole some people being obsessed with vampires is just weak people searching for soemthing that could give them power. Most people who become obsessed with vampires have been ridiculed or have had some level of social ostracization. Therefore they feel a need to generate a super persona to give them some sembalence of control or power in their lives. Sure I love the concept of Vampires, well not love...I don't think the idea that there are beings walking among us who kill some of us and feast on our life force or blood...I think to worship or idolize something like that would just be insane! But needless to say there are those who idealize them because they see them as some kind of persona they could adopt to make them feel better. This is just stupid and these people need a therapist not Anne Rice.
Or maybe people just believe that things that are not seen by we humans can and do exist! So many things that we don't know bout or understand exist so who are we to say that they don't exist. Maybe those that don't believe, should.

Thats what I mean. Just because we don't see them, doesn't mean that they arent real. Why would they show themselves to a race or breed that would only destroy them out of fear or ignorance?

Aurelia the Neko Witch ok there are people who say, vampires do not exist and there is no proof that they do not exist ya want proof, eh? well, then give me proof that they dont. There are no large animals that can survive solely off the blood of other creatures, as the level of nutrition obtained wouldn't be enough to maintain such a scale of metabolism. The evidence is that the largest creature that does so (the vampire bat) is only around 40 grams. In any case, it's a logical fallacy to try and provide negative proof of existence. Regardless of the phrase "absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence," there cannot exist proof that something does not observably exist, as one person (or even the entire planet) cannot observe all things at all times. For example, there is no proof that a Flying Spaghetti Monster does not exist, nor does their exist proof that the FSM did not create the universe as we know it. Therefore, in order to "prove" the existence or non-existence of something, one must provide evidence either for or against the existence of that something. I have provided evidence against the existence of humanoid vampiric creatures, and there still is no credible evidence for their existence.

alright what have we got here..vampires? Eh? I got somthing on that.
Vampires..are indeed one of the weirder supernatural things..I mean they suck blood for food..that doesn't work (lol)..unless your like a vampire bat or a sparrow (there is indeed a subspecies of sparrow in galapagoes that laps up blood to drink). There just isn't enough stuff in blood for a human or whatever to live off. Unless you geneticly alter a human in a way that it's digestive system can take away every bit of nutrients from blood even then I think it would be impossible to spread through biting a person..and after that beyond eating blood the magic pretty much stops there (lol).
If you want to know somthing zombies are more scientificly possible then vampires.

There is no real evdience that vampires could exist. One of the reasons vampires exist is because of the imaganation of other people. I'm not saying that I don't like vampires i mean that's why I'm on this form but, What I'm saying I that you will have to have very good amount of evidence to prove that there is someone that can survive on blood alone.

on my hiatus from gaia i played a little bit of a game called "Vampire: the masquerade"(forgive any spelling disasters please" which in this game you play as a vampire in a secret society that has laws agaisnt showing humans the existance of kindred(vampires) becuase they didnt want all the trouble it would come with(i.e. people who think they are nothing but evil creatures of the night)
also you must consider their might be other types of vampires then the traditional blood suckers, i.e. emotional vampires, emotional vampires do not need your blood but can be sustained on how your emotions are (i.e. fear, joy, excitment, sadness, stress ex.)
also consider this a vampire might need blood and other substances to survive

Um, judging from your post, you realize that Vampires is a GAME, right? Your argument seems to be completely based on the idea that vampires exist because a game makes it logical for them to do so. It's like saying Transformers are real and we'll never see them because they're "Robots in DISGUISE."
And the idea of psychic, energy, or emotional vampires will only be credible once there's something to show that both the actual substance that they feed off of (the mental energies) and the mechanism to feed off of it exist.
