Joshua tried to smother his laughter as he saw Lucian steal the drinks. 'Lucian! Don't get caught please.' He told the dragon mentally. 'Besides, that wasn't very nice.' His attention returned to matters more important than a dragon stealing coke. "I'll see what that noise was." Joshua told the boat owner. Ducking under the water, it was what he feared. The boat had smacked the coral reefs. It was fine now, but a few more good smacks and a leak would start. He resurfaced, shaking water from his hair. "The boat hits the reefs too many times, it's going to sink." He informed the occupant.

Lucian smiled tucking the cans into a small pouch around his waist. ‘It’s what I do…I take, it's not like he can't get more…’ He chuckled and surfaced once again, keeping a close eye on the person inside the boat. ‘Besides…I never get caught.’ He glanced at the cooler and seen a cup setting on it, glaring at it he looked around the cooler. His eyes sparkled when he seen a bag of cookies sitting next to it. He reached over there and grabbed a handful of cookies and shoved them into his mouth. Grabbing more and ducked, not underwater for fear of getting his cookies soggy but hid on the side of the boat.

Joe let out an audible groan. "You have got to be kidding me...well, might as well save the things I can" Joe scrambled across the deck, putting things in a waterproof bag. He stopped at his open bag of cookies that weren't open before. "What the..." The boat lurched and hit the reef again, throwing Joey off balance. He fell and hit his head, knocking himself out.

Lucian prompts himself over the boat edge and stared at the boy that was passed out. He put a cookie in his mouth and continued to stare. “Lucian didn’t do it…,” he said with a mouth full of food. He reached over and poked the boys belly to see if there was any movement. Lucian tilted his head and put another cookie in his mouth, staring and not knowing what he should do.

((OOC: Augh. Why does everyone insist on posting when I'm not at home? D8 I'm going back to bed. I've survived this weekend on three hours of sleep.))
Katalina surfaced beside Lucian, having been attracted by the sudden noises. "Well," she said, examining the rapidly sinking boat. "This is just...great."
She peeked over the edge and spotted a stranger lying unconscious on the boat. "Lucian? What happened here?" she asked. Then she thought about it, turned to Joshua, and said, "Never mind. I should probably apply to you. What happened?"
After another second of thought, she shook her head. "That can wait, on second thought. This can't." She pulled herself up the side of the boat and said to Joshua, "I can carry him to a shore," nodding at the boy, "if you can tell me where you want him put."

Joshua thought for a second. "We can put him in my camp." He nodded, deciding. He looked towards Lucian. "Can you leave the cookies and get the boat to where it won't cause harm? For when it sinks or beach it somewhere." Joshua hauled himself into the boat. "I'll take his gear." He grabbed the bag the guy had been filling. Quickly, he stuffed a few other things from around the boat. Throwing the bag into the water, he jumped in after it.

Katalina tossed the stranger without ceremony over her shoulder and dived. It took a bit of work for her to figure out how to steer without use of her arms, and carrying nearly half again her own weight in what was basically deadweight - why did humans have no ballast when they were like this? - but she managed it in the end.
Heading for the shore, she tried to stay surfaced so that the boy could breathe. It didn't feel natural, to be on the surface for this long.
