((Hahaha I know. Someone sent that my way and I almost died, so others had to suffer as well. Just finish it, it's a neat story.))
"Uhhh...Cheese and mushrooms?" Amaya asked with a shrug as she took at seat at the counter.

((I probably would have been fine if it wasn't animated... ;;-;; ))
"Psh. Well aren't you boring? Any problem with bacon, ham, and/or olives?" Adrian asked taking the cheese and mushrooms out.

"Olives are gross and ham and bacon in an omelette are too weird of textures for me. I thought you knew I was boring when it came to food." Amaya sighed, resting her good arm on the counter and resting her head in her hand.

"Yeah, I just thought it would be okay since bacon is at least a normal breakfast food. One of these days I will get you to experiment." Adrian said pointing a spatula at her before turning to the stove.

"Bacon on its own is good enough." Amaya argued. "And we'll see about that." She said with a sly grin.

"I'm letting you off the hook this time." Adrian said as the smell of breakfast began to fill the room. "But if you want to stay boring I'd suggest you think twice about letting me cook."

"Well you were up first and decided to make food." Amaya replied, still leaning with her arm resting on the counter. "Was I just supposed to say no after you'd started?"

"I'm just saying." Adrian said with a shrug. "Calista, you want some too? I can make you another omelette without the mushrooms and just the cheese if you want." he offered.

"I ate cereal already." Calista said, not turning from the tv even though it was another special she'd seen several times now.
Amaya shook her head at Adrian, still watching him make breakfast.

"Just thought I'd ask." Adrian said before plating their breakfast. It looked like a big omelette, but he made it half and half so he could still have all his extras that Amaya didn't want without tainting her meal. "So why is that you're the parent and yet I'm the one that feels like he's cooking for a child?"

"Because I'm a picky eater and proud of it." Amaya said, taking a bite of her omelette as she grinned at him.

"Whatever." Amaya sighed, taking her seat once more. "What should we do today?" She asked, looking out the window now.
