"Kallen? The Doctor Kallen? As in the famous weapons technology expert? I'm more than honored, Doctor." As a member of the Agency, he had always been fascinated by the technologies used by his subordinates, the militia of the Agency, as it were. Every rifle, rocket, bullet, and cartridge had been acquired from Doctor Kallen's facilities in some shape or form. Remembering this tidbit of information puzzled Nerius, as he memory was eratic and random as of late, and he was momentarily distracted by thought, the tiny crystals of frost spreading a bit further on the glass tube like intricate, white flowers.

Finally, he spoke again. "Doctor... I'd like to get out of this tank now, if you don't mind. I feel very refreshed and well again, and I thank you. I would also request... Perhaps a closer look at your facility? If it's not too much to ask... My name is Nerius, though I'm sure you knew that somehow..."  

[Red Glacier]

"indeed" he answered to Nerius' identification of him. he pressed a few buttons a computer attached to the tank and the water was drained and the tank opened

"Glad you are well Nerius. And yes I will show you around" he helped Nerius up and guided him through the hallways til they saw a room filled with water and a creature was dodging torpedoes from a submarine



"See that creature there Nerius? Thats a blood knight, an artificial creature that was made in a facility like this one. Its touching up on its skills right now, it has no weapons at the moment"

the creature grabs onto a torpedo an pulls up making it turn around and then he throws it back into the submarines launching port and part of it explodes, it swims like a fish and goes straight inside the submarine and when inside it could be seen through small windows that the creature was snapping necks of the crew and breaking their limbs and then ran back to the engine of the ship and it disappears, seconds after it disappeared and dived out of the hole in went in through and the submarine exploded launching the creature out but it hardly moves and stands in the water watching its results

Dr. Kallen smiled
"They are the best warriors i've ever seen Nerius. even when weaponless they can take down military units. They are specialists in war and can do so many other things aside from just combat, and they uphold the law with an iron fist. They are truly magnificent beings Nerius, and our allies"  

[Roland Karloseth]

Roland yawned. "This is getting a bit ridiculous, this tour. What's the point? Is there something here we need to see? I am starting to feel like a child on a field trip to the museum, absolutely pointless despite being educational. Bah..." Roland dismissed the thought with a slight wave of his hand, and decided to investigate the beacon instead. "Hrm... it's already stopped broadcasting. How interesting, I wonder what that was all about."  

[Red Glacier]

Dr. Lore: "Anyway lets move on." he takes them into a room where there was an olympic sized pool. "An olympic sized pool. Nothing special" Hedron pops his head out of the surface and swims to the edge of the pool seeing what they were up to "Well.....except maybe that"

Lore looks at Hedron in confusion "Thats a unique skin color......and hair.....Can any of you all explain that?"

Ashoc had followed the tour silently, not saying anything, not thinking, just kind of day dreaming and going into autopilot as she walked with them. When Hedron popped his head out of the water, she snapped out of it and smiled at him, waving. "I have no idea why his hair is like that. It's kinda pretty though...."  

[Red Glacier]

Dr. Lore: "Its definitely interesting, anyway, lets continue" he guides them all out and takes them all out

Hedron: he reached out and grabbed Ashocs ankle and purred as the rest of the group left her behind unknowingly. he smiles to her.

Dr. Lore: he stayed silent wondering about Hedrons origin, he definitely wasn't one of theirs and didn't seem like a creation of Zenakus. he keeps quiet til they reached another large field and their were four 40 meter tall battlemechs. there was a rather plain looking blood knight running on the ground towards one of the mechs as mech 3 shot at him with machine guns thats bullets were the size of bowling balls roughly.

"Thats Owen, the first blood knight, and the best" he said with excitement "No blood knight has ever been able to beat his experience and skill even when Owen was unarmed, I think Scuttles remembers his match with him" he laughed and Scuttles shivered a bit and whimpered

Owen: he thrusts his arms out and a large amount of blood blasts out on the ground in front of him. he gets a grappling hook and shoots it at at mech 4 then dives onto the blood sliding down it then kicks off as the grappling hook draws in. he then bursts blood from his back boosting him upward, the hook detached when Owen was above the mech, Blood flows out of Owens arm and formed into a katana, he falls down onto mech 4s cockpit and stabbed the sword through the glass and into the pilots chest, he breaks the sword off and grabs the glass and rips it off, mech 2 fires a laser toward the cockpit knowing its friend was dead and saw a chance to kill Owen.

Owen ducks from the laser and got on the seat of the cockpit and leaned the mech toward mech 3 and hit the ejection seat launching him up into the air towards mech 3.

Mech 1 shoots 2 missles at owen that locked on and chased him, Owen once high enough jumps off the seat and falls toward its prey, the missiles flew toward him and he looked at them watching them gaining towards him studying the distance between them which wasn't far at all. he draws out a claymore mine and throws it out activating its censor on the top of it, he aims his pistol at the back of the mine and shoots it making the mine set off its one way explosive and sending shrapnel into the missles destroying them.

Owen lands on mech 3 and saw the head of it was too low to get to, he runs back and jumps where the mechs vents are on its back and tears himself an opening and crawling in. he runs to the engine and and plants some explosives on its core that powered its movement, he turns to some of the wiring of the mech and starts messing with its movement, he remembers where at least one of the other mechs were and makes the mech he is in charge into it and tackle it to the ground, he runs and climbs out of the mech then goes to mech 2s cockpit and uses its ehection seat to launch him up while he set off the explosives in mech 3s core


mech 3 becomes unstable and a bright flash appears before it explodes and takes mech 2 down with it

Owen flies up on the ejection seat and blood goes down his arms and starts molding into something big. the blood starts hardening and taking the shape of a minigun, he jumps off and lands at the face of the mech ans started shooting straight into the cockpit as the pilot panicked and lost the mechs balance and started falling before he was ripped to pieces by the hail of bullets. Owen rides the mechholding onto the head til they hit the ground, he gets off the mech and throws the minigun down. he walks over the hill and waves to all of them

Lore: he waves back at Owen as a jeep drove up to pick Owen up and then proceeded to bring him back in the facility. "So, what did you all think?"

Owen: he soon walks up to the group and looks at the crowd nodding to them all as greetings

Lore: That will conclude the tour, the cafeteria is right down the hall and you all know where your beds were and the pool area, maybe you all can interact with some of the blood knights, they like to have company"  

[Roland Karloseth]

Roland watched the whole match with a face of indifference. "Well... these creations have got some interesting moves, I'll give them that. Doesn't make this venture any more positive. Bah..." Roland looked at the doctor person and asked "Soo... we're free to wander around then? Is that what you're saying?"

Nerius gaped in wonder and astonishment at the agility and effectiveness of the artificial warrior. The creation's movements were automatic and lightning fast, but as Nerius followed him with his gaze, he noticed that they were graceful and not mechanical or jerky. The thing was a killing machine, without the machinery. "It's... so efficient, Doctor, and you designed this for combat alone?"

It truly was a marvel, swimming about almost as easily as Nerius himself could move, using the currents and flow paths of the water around him to his advantage. "Are there more like this? More 'blood knights' I mean..."  

[Red Glacier]

Kallen: "Hes also an expert in repairing sea bound vehicles and water rescues. Blood Knights are specialists in a specific area unique to them, no two blood knights are the same. i just study the weapons they use and design them. instead of using just clips of ammo they have machines in their bodies that transform the very blood of their bodies into bullets that get teleported into the guns they use. They all have 6 hearts inside them that pulse 6 different types of blood in the body so they harden, each limb caries a different blood type, the torso carries another and so does the head."

"Come" he turns the corner and as soon as Nerius followed he ran into the group with Lore, Avalon, Elcia, Scuttles, Owen and Roland

Lore: "Dr. Kallen, good to see you"

Kallen "Likewise, Showing guests around too I see?"

Lore: "Yes, just let them out to go explore on their own"

Kallen: he sees Owen and a grin appears on his face "Ah, Owen the pride and joy of the Blood Knight project. How are you?"

Owen: he shyly nods, he didn't like being held so highly  

[Roland Karloseth]

Roland turned around and saw Nerius standing there. He literally did a double take on that. "What the...?" Roland activated his gloves right then and there. He looked around quickly and saw that Ashoc was missing, as well as Hedron. "Damnit..." was all he could manage through his throat after that.

Nerius' eyes fell on the group before him, though they didn't process the information until several moments later when a sputtering response attempted to pry itself from his lips. "I... you're..." He started to step back, but was able to stop himself as he tried to think of what to say. "Roland... you're all still... but what are you doing here?"

The question was lost on him, as he didn't exactly know why he was there either. Nevertheless he scanned the mixed crowd of knowns and unknowns. As his mind raced, he realized there was a member of the group missing. He wasn't sure which, for some reason, as his memory was drawing a blank, but he was sure the missing body was of some importance.  

[Elcia]

Had she not been preoccupied with her train of thoughts Elcia might have noticed that the group had dwindled. And she might have walked back to their room had she not heard Roland's awkward curse. She looked over her shoulder and the questioning look turned to bank stare.

She hadn't had time to get all the details of that fight but hadn't she been told that the man who seemed to be made of mist been killed.
She turned around to and glanced at her companions, only to find a couple missing. She turned sharply back to Nerius.

"We could ask the same of you?" She volunteered in a neutral tone since everyone else seemed to have lost the ability to speak.

(( uhm I just realized that her question even encompasses the first question Nerius was going to ask. wink ))  

[Roland Karloseth]

"Good question, though I would ask the same of you. I watched you die." Roland leaned over to Elcia and whispered "Where the HELL is Ashoc? Any clue where she disappeared to?"

"Heh heh, looks like things just got interesting. Just what you wanted, right?" Roland thought to himself. He tensed up, ready for a fight. "So what's it going to be this time? Another ambush? Or something a bit more creative?" His hands glowed with a fierce blue flame-like aura, ready to be used in an instant.  

[Elcia]

"Not a clue but I am nearly certain she must be with Hedron." she whispered back indicating that he was missing as well. She wanted to tell Roland something more but it was a vague feeling only that she had no way to explain.

He does not seem quite the same. it was a vague sense she got from looking at him, but her thoughts trailed away to the philosophical thoughts of the changes dying would have on a person and she did not mention it, rationalizing that it must have been a hoax.

((By the way, I'm not sure if Viral mentioned this, but I'm pretty sure the prom timeline fits in just after they go bowling, and then they get kidnapped. Yes.... >.> <.< It's the only way to make it work. Dx))

Ashoc had been going around in a daze, not really paying attention to where she was going just blindly following the others as she remained lost in her thoughts. She felt their emotions brush up against her, but she waved them away as she thought. Then when she saw Hedron she immediately snapped out of it. And now as the others walked away and Hedron grabbed her ankle, she grinned happily at him. "Hey sweetie, you've been swimming all this time? Did you have fun?" Her smile grew a little bit shy. It'd been the first time they'd been alone together since the prom, since... since they'd become a couple. She'd been thinking about how they'd danced together and laughed and talked to each other, him talking to her through his thoughts. She walked up to him and petted his hair gently, smiling. Then.... then she felt something, something on the edge of her awareness....

Confusion. Something close to anger, but definitely closer to suspiciousness. And the familiar touch of Nerius' mind.

Ashoc grabbed Hedron's hand and started tugging to towards the door. "We've gotta go, there's something going on. I don't know what, but... it's important, I just know it." Her other hand curled up into a fist and she shook with combined rage and infinite sorrow and pain at Nerius' return.
