Something that's like a mystery (Malice x iiGypsy) (open)

"Meiyu, guardian of Angel." He would never call himself her father, though. He bowed politely.

"Angel, bodyguard of Torrisen." She licked her paw.

Anton nodded, repeating all of the names to Alra. She nodded, stepping forward and saying something in Fire Dancer. Then, after a pause, she bowed from the waist and said, "Me...Alra...nice meet you!" She smiled a cute smile, shivering and converting back to lion form, curling up into a ball in the snow.

Fang resisted the urge to curl up around the girl, out of maternal instinct, "Hello, Alra." Fang's voice was warm and smooth in her soft purr, though she didn't move from her spot with Tori.

Anton took his lion form and curled around the shivering cub, making her warm.
"Usually the bearer would do this," he said with a sad note, "But our bearer is dead."

Fang could sympathise...and her mother wasn't even dead. She wanted curl up with them. Give protection, even though it wasn't needed, and Tori would feel her fur bristle with the incontent.

Anton looked over at the tall one named Sebastion, shaking a little snow out of his mane.
"When do we leave?" he asked, wanting to feed his people as soon as he could.

Tori felt her fur bristle and he petted her calmly, making soothing sounds. He didn't want to make her feel sad, but he wanted to offer his mother to her. After all, she deserved one.
"Can we leave soon Uncle?" he asked, looking at the shivering little one. He wanted to get her into a warm house.

Sebastion nodded at Tori, turning to Anton.
"Tell the big one to gather everyone and follow us," he said with a kind tone, looking at all of the curious eyes, "We can feed them when we get there."

Dentar looked at them all and started walking, calling back to his father, "I'm going to go alert the butcher and the cook."

Fang lifted her shoulders against Tori's hand, and stood, "Yeah let's go."

Meiyu went to the huddled siblings, "Up now. You're going to be sleeping in doors, ya here?" He patted both of their head, before turning to follow Dentar.

Anton translated and asked Alra to change to human form. When she did, he had her climb onto his back and cuddle into his fur.
"Brother...what...indoors?" she asked curiously, loving the body heat.
Anton shrugged his big shoulders, "I don't know. Maybe ask the lion girl?" he pointed his muzzle at Angel.

Tori nodded, turning to follow Meiyu.

"Indoors....is like inside of a very large, very warm cave, with walls." Fang tried to explain, keeping beside Tori, "Or for others, " like herself, "A place where they keep what is most precious to them, safe, that protects them from harsh weather...it's not always large, not usually, anyway."

Alra raised her head, big eyes curious.
"Like...shiney thing?" she asked, a smile creeping on her face, "Or...food? Or pretty rock?"

"Yeah...like pretty rocks." Fang smiled widely. If Tori remembered her home, there had been tables covered in little things like shiny rocks, and there was her feather collection...

Tori smiled, remembering Fang's room. It was cluttered and small, but that was her home. He looked at the ground. She hadn't seen it since she'd been with him.
"Or like feathers, or pictures," he said to the girl, holding out his wings and smiling.

Alra looked at Tori's wings in wonder, reaching out with her little hand and stroking his wing.
"You soft," she said, in awe.

Fang gave him a knowing glance and agreed, "Yes...and like feathers."

Alra basically petted Tori all the way back to the mansion. And when she saw it, her jaw dropped.
"Big Cave!" she exclaimed, bouncing on Anton's back.

Tori smiled, opening the doors and letting the big cats walk through first.
"No, this is a house," he said, ruffling the girl's hair.

Fang took the slim, more angelic guise with the white gown and slim waist, accompanied by her black and violet tipped, wings. She motioned ahead of her, "Welcome to your new home, Anton." She smiled.
