Amaya nodded, getting up now to speak with the person on the other end of the phone.
Calista looked up at Adrian now, sighing lightly. "Are we going out again?" She muttered, not really interested in leaving the house at the moment.

"It's cold out there. And mommy got hurt yesterday and then we had to be at the hospital for a long time." She muttered, crossing her arms over her chest.

"I'm sorry that happened yesterday...It was dark and I didn't quite see that patch of ice...But now that it's light out, no one's going to get hurt by my stupid mistakes." Adrian told her apologetically.

"Okay. Marco said he would meet us for lunch. So I'm gonna go shower and what not." Amaya said as she walked back over and put the phone in its station. "You've got a few hours before we have to go out, so stop whining." She said, pointing to Calista now before she walked off into the bedroom to go get ready.
"Fine." Calista murmured in response to Amaya and Adrian, though she was still mad she had to go out.

"You already said you were bored with the Christmas specials and if you hang around the house too long you'll get bored with all your new toys before the new year gets here. Besides, it's been a while and you'll back in school before you know it. This is the perfect chance for all of us to go out and do something together." Adrian told her with a smile. "You'd be silly if you thought I didn't miss you too." he said ruffling her hair a bit.

Calista just grumbled, getting up to go get dressed and brush her teeth so she could play up to the point that they had to leave.

"I was...expecting a warmer reaction than that...." Adrian muttered to himself before sighing and getting up to get dressed as well.

"She still being evil?" Amaya asked as she opened the bathroom door, a towel wrapped around her body with her hair still pretty wet. Her shower had been pretty fast, but she was clean.

"Hopefully she'll warm up once she starts having fun." Adrian said pulling on his pants as he got dressed. "I think she's just grumpy that she can't keep playing with her new toys yet."

"Hopefully. I dunno, she just gets nasty and uncooperative some days. Haven't quite figured out why yet, but that's what I've seen anyway." Amaya sighed, getting dressed before she rubbed her head with the towel to try and dry out her hair a little more before she actually went to use the hairdryer.

"Weird, that doesn't sound like her." Adrian noted as he pulled his shirt on, wings soon finding their holes and popping free with a flap. "...Of course I guess I'm too out of touch here to be talking just yet."
