xD I've had that song Terra sung before the Roxie one stuck in my head for a few days before Phantom slipped his way in, just now.
Hehe, now there's also a Canuck impression to look forward to ^^ ...Canadian slang should be interesting. Is "eh?" considered Canadian?

I say "Eh" frequently, and "like" as a replacement for "um" or "er" or whatever, basically filler when you don't know what to say. However, it sounds nothing like the way I'm going to be using it in my sound files. I'll speak to you normally once just so you can get an idea of what I actually sound like.

biggrin Sounds good to me. I remember reading some of Lizz's posts, I think it was, and she mentioned something was "eh" and "Canadian" so I thought I'd ask, to clear it up.

The stereotypical way Canadians speak is pretty much like they do in Fargo, even though it was set in the US. People sometimes also assume we're all like the Newfies (Newfoundlanders), which is where the "aboot" comes from.
One of my temporary catchphrases was "Noo doot aboot it" instead of "No doubt about it" just to mock the stereotype. I said it out loud a lot when I was visiting the US.
It's jolly good fun to confuse Americans (note that I just used British slang, it's not standard for Canadians to use that XD)

xd Confusing people is fun, indeed. And yes, I recognised the British slang. *Nodnod* Funny how people get stereotyped to speak a particular way, and it's more often than not, untrue. You won't see Brits walking about in top hats, monocles and ankle-length dresses speaking with a posh tone and a cup of tea anymore. ^^
Haven't seen Fargo. But...xD sounds funny. I bet some poor kid in America who heard you speak now seriously does think that all Canadians speak that way.

I think I posted more of the "Canadians in America" story either earlier (about 4 or 5 hours ago) in this thread or in the post your voice one. I definitely enjoyed my time there, loudly speaking my "fake Canadese". Fargo's a black comedy, I can't remember where in the Northern States it takes place in but I laughed when I found out that it's Americans that apparently talk like that.

xd I like Americans, I really do. I find it funny, how America started with colonising from different countries, so technically, there is no pure American race apart from the native Americans - if they even exist anymore. So to all those people outside America that start slagging it off, well, there's probably a part of their country in it too ^^
I'll go check back on both threads later. Canadese. rofl

Well, with the exception of MCG being voted off instead off Sanzo, the scores for this week continue to strongly support my theories reguarding finalists.

I think it's funny that Jimmy got worked up over the results but the first word MCG posted was w00t.
