YURASTAR
It was with a wheeze and a sandy cough that Yurastar managed to get back to his feet, his breathing still shallow and rapid from the sudden weight gain and sudden weight loss of two dragonets The pain in his side was gone and he was thankful for that, quite surprised to find maybe he would only be bruised rather than broken. He was rather sturdy after all after turns and turns of accidents, and he wasn't even remotely mad to have been toppled on. The babies had been friendly and meant no harm, so they got a wave as they ran off. "Cute kids, really."
It looked as though he'd missed some impressions and some hatchings while he pressed down but that was okay. Everyone looked happy and healthy and that was what mattered. He was thinking about something else when he tripped over his own broken sandal again, dropping down just in time to hear someone talk to him. "Not so bad. I'm a lot thicker than I look."
SOUI
The wriggling of a certain egg caught Soui's attention, if only because she had a very fond memory of that specific encounter. It had been one of her first and....the dragonet had sang to her. Or tried to sing but either way it was a memory she treasured, one that had been pleasant among a few others that had the hatching weigh mixed in her mind. Plus there was a promise she'd made, to hug the dragonet once it'd hatched as a way of saying thank you. Perhaps once it was properly Impressed she could introduce herself again and actually keep the promise, so long as it remembered her and wasn't too bothered by it.
Plus there was such a lovely white, and she was so happy to see one! Whites were small and lovely, and then the blue wanting to climb up! The hatching had gone from sad back to happy and that was wonderful.

Perfect Isn't Easy Egg A few more wobbles, a few more shakes, and the egg cracked in two. It took a moment....but out came a delicate green leg. Step by delicate step, the green made her entrance, kicking her useless shell away so it didn't steal the scene. Her neck was arched, her wings open just so.... See world? This was what you were missing, wasn't it?
This was....
Hey wait a minute. Where were her adoring fans? Where were all the Candidate? Why did they look so...so..ragged!? And most importantly, who was that green and WHY was that bronze cooing over her!?!
Her eyes flashed red. Then.... Then a brown approached.
HOW DARE THEY!
Puffing up, the green gave a loud and ugly hiss. Excuse me, boys... But you're looking the wrong way. She spoke with as much tenderness as she could convey and yet... She was right here! Whoever that ugly, fat, green, wher was could get off HER sands immediately. This was HER moment. She would not be out done!

Karone The Slytherin bronze had made his choice, leaving those who’d assembled to mill about or return to their former positions. Karone was one who remained, keeping himself distracted by the sudden blitz of infant movements and Impressions. A few beautiful greens, a brown, and even a white. His eyes burned with unshed tears as he tried not to picture his brother’s face, and tried not to dread the fact that he might be left alone on the sands again. It was hard enough when Le’x had found Kratoth.
Farinalgo Farin, too, stood close to where the pouty bronze had lain in wait for his lifemate to approach. He was exhausted from all the peril and emotion, and it being the wee hours of the night—or was it morning, now? Thank Faranth things had quieted down for a while. He watched the hatchlings all but pour out from their shells in droves, the tiredness actually pushing out many of the stressful memories from the night and making him relax enough to grin at their playful antics.
Some blues had also come forth. Recalling the bet he’d made with Niika, he looked them both over well, wondering if one might be for him. It made him feel oddly guilty, somehow. Perhaps it was because they’d always been told not to fixate on any one color, or any one egg.

Talis and Holleth Though the rest of the activity that had ensued since they'd helped Lauthisen to the Healers had been ignored, there was now movement on the Sands that caught Holleth's eye and gave him a pause that would be imperceptible to any but His, as he missed only half a beat before resuming his meal...but regarding Krahsujunth out of the corner of his eye as his father laid his head down on the sand to be climbed upon. Whatever he thought of it, however he felt about it - for surely no edge or yellow or purple flashed through his eyes - he quickly tilted his chin up with a soft sniff and returned his focus to his rider, where it belonged.
Talis, too, kept her eyes mostly on Hers, though she did take note of each new weyrling as they arrived. Most were strangers, others passingly familiar at best, though the boy carrying his rather small and green-ish bronze received a touch more interest: partly recognition, and partly simple curiosity as to whether the hatchling was injured or simply enjoyed being carried around.
Tsunake tiny notice 4 lake-acquaintance.
