"You guys were doing amazing out there, truly! This was not an easy decision and me and Cora had a hard time figuring everything out but we're happy with what we have and I hope you guys will be as well. Ok! Starting team is as follows: for chasers, Elsie, Chloe, and Iris with Miles as reserve. For beaters, me and Raph with the Jasper as reserve. For keeper, Cora with Jarlath as reserve. And for seeker, Jess with Alice as reserve. Again, great job today, I couldn't be prouder! Get some rest, take a bath, and see you on the pitch for our next practice!" he grinned bright and wide looking out at his new team. His new team, it would take him a while to get used to saying that. He had gotten really good at this wandless stuff! He put out the forms and pencils for new and old players to put out. He then canceled the charm on the chest letting it rest on the grass while he floated low on his broom and waited for everyone to come. This was going to be their year, he guaranteed it. Iris Alethea Whitte~Hufflepuff Second Year~Pure Blood My heart can't possibly break.....
Iris trudged down to the field, her shiny new broom over her shoulder. Iris could count the number of times she'd seen her father over the summer on one hand, with fingers left over, yet the image-minded man had made sure that Iris would be seen with a fancy broom the second she was able to have her own. Not particularly surprising, as Iris was quite aware that her father was fonder of the idea of having a status symbol 'daughter' than he was of actually having a daughter.
Iris tossed her head, dismissing her parents from her mind and plastering on a smile. Arriving at the pitch, she quickly grabbed a form and filled it out. She hesitated over desired position, then, in a flash of defiance, scribbled down her real first choice. Her starch guttered out in a flash though, and she wrote Chaser in second choice, even though she despised the position. Before her courage could entirely desert her, Iris handed the form in.

Lives: {❤} {❤} {❤} Wearing: Try-Out Clothes ______________________________________________________ Cathy wasn't that nervous about trying out for her houses team-after all if she made it great, if not, well there was always next year and they just had other better people try out, and she wanted the best for her house. What she was nervous about beyond how painful bludgers looked (which in the long run wasn't that big of deal because magic could heal that sort of thing she figured) was how her brother would react if he found out she was trying out. He would have a cow. Then again, she thought he was overly cautious and just liked having something to complain about half the time from what Cathy could tell so he just decided to channel it towards quidditch generally. Also, he said he was horrible at flying and he tended to hate anything he wasn't good at.
Smiling she saw one of the fellow Hufflepuffs from her year the generally quiet Iris and waved with a smile, "Good morning, Iris." And she nodded to Tobi the quidditch captain and picked up the form for trying out for the team and took a deep breath and quickly scribbled in her information.

SECOND YEAR ● HUFFLEPUFF ● SINGLE To be honest, Oswin was a bit nervous. He had done fairly well at Flying last year and he was enrolled in the advanced flying course. Quidditch always seemed pretty interesting, and so he had convinced himself that he was going to try. He didn't even have his own broom yet, as the boy decided that he'd be much better off waiting until he know he made the team. After all, he was a muggleborn. Nobody in his family even knew what quidditch was.
Walking out onto the field, the boy found the captain holding applications and took one and soon started filling it out. When he was done, Oswin gave it back to Tobi.

Chase walked onto the pitch rather nervously. She grabbed a school broom as she got to where the captain stood and gave the much older boy a nervous looking smile before she grabbed a sheet to fill out and quickly did so. She wasn't sure why she was so nervous. She'd spent the past couple years training with the best Beater she had ever seen. Riley was a fantastic beater and she was trying out for the same spot. There was no reason she should be nervous. She had this in the bag.... she hoped. When she'd finished with the sheet, she handed it back in , her smile less nervous now. Her internal pep talk seemed to be working.

Olyvia finally had the spirits to play Quidditch again, and she was fairly excited for the year. Especially since it was their captain's last year. Usually that meant a good run of games because everyone always tried hardest to get their captain the cup for his or her last year. The tiny Hufflepuff grinned at Tobi as she grabbed a sheet and quickly filled it out. "Thought I'd rejoin my favourite team now that I'm not down in the dumps." She said, handing him the sheet and starting to stretch out her muscles.

After all Jess needed back up right? Skipping down to the field with Jasper at her side she was nothing short but all smiles. "Morning everyone ready for this year!?" Alice asked quite chipper for someone who had to get up early and usually didn't enjoy it. "I know I am." she added as she filled out the form.  Location: Quidditch Pitch (Try-outs) Jasper followed Alice onto the field. Deep down he wanted her to just stay out of the game entirely. However, he realized that just like how he was taking divination she was trying Quidditch. Thus he wasn't about to stop her although the expression on his face when she mentioned it gave his thoughts away. As Jasper filled out the form he knew that being a Beater on the starting line was rather impossible. There were probably quite a number of people who wanted to play either Beater or Chaser and there were only two positions for what he was going after. Either way he was just glad to make reserve.
