About five years ago I heard a song... a very beautiful song.

My best friend, at the time, had a Final Fantasy XIII - X soundtrack mixture CD. I stole it (>8D) for a bit and listened religiously. The songs were all so gorgeous.. I usually fell asleep to some song or another.

Anyway, I heard this particular song one day after having the CD for several weeks. I don't know why it made me so happy... it just did.

Tragically, I gave the CD back without ever asking where the song was from.

It slipped from my mind for three years or so...

About a year and a half ago it popped back in there. Some fragment of the melody did... But I couldn't name the song, artist, or FF game it was from! So I mourned... and searched... and mourned... BUT DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY FF SONGS ARE OUT THERE?! stare

Well... I gave up for a while.

This afternoon, however, I decided to download some random video game music. Lo and behold, I stumbled across a Final Fantasy IX compilation. I snagged it for shits and grins, not actually expecting to find the elusive melody, though I did glance through to see if any of them rang some long-lost bell. They didn't...

So it finished downloading, I put it on random... And THERE IT WAS!! heart heart heart heart Such a simple name, too... I can't believe it. If only I had played more FF...

So now, I share it with you all. I'm sure you've probably heard it before... It's beautiful. ^_____^
