As he moved away from the base, he heard a yell and then the splash of water. He turned his head and his eyes activated, quickly spotting the chakra the figure gave off. It was familiar, or so he thought. "What the..." He moved forward, only to see Rini pop out of the water. "Oh, it's you. Did you... no matter, is there a reason why you're falling in water?"

She glanced from him to the water and back with a slight frown, straightening almost defensively. "We don't know what you're talking about. We did not fall. Fall would suggest an accident. We decided to take a swim. That is not a crime." She paused, eyebrows pulling together. "It's not . . . is it?"

Rini lifted her head and closed the umbrella so she could see the second person that had spoken to her -- the one she had followed. She studied him and then gave a crooked smile. "You have grown." She stretched her feet out in front of her, dropping them into the water. "We are glad you remember us." The High Priestess dropped her gaze to her feet beneath the rippling water. "We like being remembered."

Then, Lars arrived and a scowl planted itself on the Sannin's face. "Dang, Lars. Do you follow me?" Then Rini spoke once more. About rememberance. "I must have been quite the forgetable Gennin, then, Rini. Since you apparently don't remember me." In fact, the two had met in the waiting area for the Chuunin/Jounin Exams long ago. Several years had passed but that was no excuse, as he still remembered her.

Rini watched Lars clear out the sky. "No, we don't know," she muttered. She pushed herself to her feet and glanced to the other man, who appeared to be speaking to himself, though softly. She knew how that was -- trying to speak to her Lord without speaking but doing so out of habit.

"We will take that as a compliment. We are weird. That is truth." She smiled. "It is better than being boring, ne?" Rini laughed and stepped off the rock to amble across the water's surface toward Haku. Her smile slowly turned into a frown as she studied him. "But that's not right. We'd never forget such a handsome face." Rini giggled, and her grin returned full force.

His eyes moved down, only to see the woman place her head on his shoulder. He had never been in that position before and didn't know what to do. His mind was at a lost for anything, especially words. But she ended the silence by speaking. "Um... well, then..." Did Rini mean what Haku thought she meant? He removed his hand and placed both of them on her shoulders, removing her from his body. "Ahem, I'm... married."

She let her weight fall back on his hands, using them to support her as she leaned her head back to arch an eyebrow at him. "So? We don't mind sharing."
