Riley stopped and turned back to listen when he heard Zach's voice. "I...dunno, I was kinda..." he trailed off looking back down the street he was heading and the dim alley ahead of him. He was planning on just slinking away into the shadows for a bit, to that world of darkness his crystal helped him discover. There were no people there, no sounds, nothing but darkness. It may have been lonely, but he found it was the best place to go when he wanted to just curl up and be alone for a bit. "On second thought....yeah. Yeah, that'd be great." he said with a faint smile as he looked back at Zach.

((Aww I got ignored... dang))
Azhure noticed she had been ignored even if it was a small sorry. Her anger flared and before she did anything she turned, her skirt flaring slightly and started up the road out of town and to her garden. It was the only thing that kept her level headed...

Grinning happily, Zach grabbed Riley's hand. "Okay! We'll start with my favorite place. It's this abandoned warehouse, entirely empty. Anyone can walk in. It's really cool." He started walking, and added, "I have something to show you there, too."

Jeanie paused a block away from the care,when she realized that she had left her book on the table. She walked back at a leisure pace. She waved at Zach and Riley as she walked pass them.

"Abandoned, you say?" Riley asked perking up at this. He liked empty places with few people--the entire reason he was okay with his power--so this seemed right up his alley. "You're the only one that goes there?"

Azhure went back towards the forest where her garden was. She had honestly stopped wanting to go to the place. She had become upset sort of that she had been ignored even if it was just an apology. She sighed and turned around to go home. Her head down as she threw the Bagel and Hot Chocolate away. No longer wanting to eat it. She wondered if Adrian was home. She only seemed to wonder about him.

"Yeah." He shrugged a little. "I brought Shane once, but she hates it. Too big and echoing for her, but that's why I love it. It's huge and empty and... peaceful." They came up on the warehouse and Zach opened the door before grabbing Riley's hand again and leading him inside. "Now, um, I'm going to show you something, but you have to swear not to tell anyone, okay? Not even Shane knows about it."

Jeanie opened the door to the care. She walked in and headed to the table she was sitting at. She turned the book over in her hand and smiled.

"Okay." He took a breath and ordered Riley to stand still, then walked twenty paces and quietly chanted the word for fire in various different languages, feeling the flame build up in him—and then he let it out in a burst of fire that reached up at least fifteen feet. Then he looked towards Riley. "So, yeah, I can do that."

Riley's eyes widened in shock, amazement...and a bit of joy as his mouth opened in a smile of awe. There was no other way to look at it, he must have had a crystal like him. "That was awesome!!" he said running up to Zach once the fire died down.

As Skye walked back to her apartment, she placed a hand on a parked car and started absorbing the energy, storing it in her body. It was more a precaution in case someone tried to pick a fight with her. As she took her hand off, there were small sparks before she walked off.

"I know," Zach said, blushing a little. "I have to be careful because of it, though. I can't say fi—" He caught himself and coughed up a few sparks. "Yeah. That. I sometimes breathe out ashes or sparks when I'm nervous, too." Something occurred to him. "Do you... do you have a crystal, too?"

Riley turned a little red and smiled sheepishly. "Mhm." he said holding out his hand and pulling his sleeve back to show Zach the pitch black gem in his wrist where a person would usually take their pulse. "But you can't tell anyone either. My dad's clueless, but our house has been so crazy lately I'm not sure how much he's really been paying attention to me."

"I'll keep your secret," he promised with a smile. He reached out and grabbed Riley's wrist, stroking the crystal absently. "I think it's pretty," he said without thinking, and then he blushed. "Oh. Um. Sorry." Zach bit his lip, said, "Aw, hell, whatever," and then he gave Riley a quick kiss on the cheek. "I like you," he mumbled, blushing more than ever before.
