Watching her flip a coin into the air in boredom Kōshū's hand launched forward, encompassing the coin before snapping his hand back to his side. Grinning playfully at the girl the Uchiha turned his gaze to the Otokage before politely bowing towards her, not wanting to be too rude towards her. Shuffling closer to Harumi he leaned in to whisper to her softly, wanting to speak to her while the others spoke in the office. "Did you wait long for me Harumi? I got lost in the market area on the way here." Chuckling awkwardly towards her he reached up to scratch the back of his head before leaning against the wall behind them, crossing his hands behind his head as he waited to be addressed by the Otokage.

...I'll take my leave, Kai psychically reported to Sumiko, seeing as the office space was shrinking by the minute. I'll be training in the dojo if you need me.
Izuru put a pause on his barrage of apologetic bowing when he felt his "sensei's" hand atop his head destroying whatever charming look he currently had his hair styled. Glancing up to Kuhaku, Izuru gave a wide toothy grin that was mixed with excitement and happiness. He turned this grin towards the Otokage when she informed him that she would forgive his "rudeness" if he simply stopped the bowing. Having already stopped, little Izuru straightened up and gave a nod of understanding before placing his hands on his hips. On the side of the room from a fish tank out popped a blue-hued boy with gills, a sharkboy. That boy was in his class if he recalled, but he wasn't someone that stood out to Izuru in the Academy so he never took any interest in him.
The next person to make their grand appearance was Aless, who was also in his class at the Academy, but he definitely had taken an interest in her unlike sharkboy. She had white hair, just like him, and she was cute to boot. It seemed like she was in the same boat as him, not knowing practically anyone in the room so she stayed by the damaged doorway looking awkwardly placed. Speaking of the damaged doorway, a woman addressed Kuhaku before fixing what he had broken and informed him with a tone of annoyance that next time he would be forced to fix it. That caused Izuru to chuckle. He had never seen anyone interact with Kuhaku in such a manner before, so this fresh experience was interesting to say the least.
Then came the same lady interacting with the Otokage before briefly mentioning Kai, stating that he was enough work for her already. Izuru felt kinda bad about that, but at the same time he had to suppress a laugh from escaping. More noise came from behind him and when he turned to look back he was greeted with the sight of two newcomers. A girl who was in his class and a male who he also instantly recognized. The girl was Harumi and the man was Koshuu, who believe it or not was also in his class despite his age and size. If memory served correctly, those two were practically inseperable, and were best friends.
Not having any real previouce experience of interacting with them, Izuru simply tossed a wave their way, along with Aless. As he turned back to face the Otokage after having received a wave or two back, or none at all, he noticed that Kai had dismissed himself and gave his new sensei a location to where he had been found. He hated to see him go already, but to be truthful he was kinda glad. The room was rather cramped.

Noticing the look in his sisters eyes, Kuhaku couldn't help but give a soft sigh; having already realized the moment he let his anger get the best of him that he wasn't in the right state of mind to make any rational decisions when it came to dealing with their problems. Even still he believed they should be crushed completely, sent to prison or killed to atone for their sins against the innocent people in Otogakure. Not that he would vocally say this again towards her, she already knew his opinion on the situation, repeating himself would do him no good. When he was asked his opinion in regards to just taking down the corrupt people and replacing them with someone trustworthy like Sumiko the man raised a single eyebrow, shifting his concentric gaze towards her for a brief moment in thought before shaking his head slightly. Sure she was good with numbers and knew far more about medicine than any of them, but at the same time she was incredibly lazy and disliked most forms of responsibility over all, as reinforced by her words about being given a genin student to take care of. Speaking towards Kat quietly, Kuhaku allowed his brain to work through possible solutions to their problem. "I...don't think Sumiko should take that position. She may be smart and good at her job, but I highly doubt she would make it very far in that type of environment. Her work ethics alone; no offense intended, leaves much to be desired for most people that do office work."

Since this skill is used exclusively outside of combat, the user may have all four individuals at once with no cooldown. • [BLOODLINE] • God's All-knowing - Passive This allows Kuhaku to further his bloodline capabilities to not only create unlimited receiver rods and track them actively, but also allows him to hone in on them and use them as a substitute of sorts, allowing him to hear things around them and see what the rod could essentially see if it had eyes. However, the greater the number of rods he tries to track with all the senses the more his brain will get overloaded and hamper his reactions/concentration, and if it reaches a critical point, he will inevitably pass out from exhaustion. Katherine was completely engrossed in her work and in the various people in her office, averting eyes from her documents long enough to look at the people who spoke, the people arriving and the like. Spiders hiding about the room in the corners, under chairs and the like were also keeping their senses sharp, watching right along with the spider queen. In one hand a sheet of paper requesting a permit to make additions to a very large building. Most of the other Big Wigs had signed off but it fell to her to give it a final go ahead. It would make a lot of jobs sure, but it was dangerous and this particular building was the same one that was ran by the people whom had stepped over their boundaries. Kat flared her nostrils, turning her head to a scroll rolled out in her lap, then flicking to the ledger which had a log of the village coffers. It was then that Sumiko spoke, and Kat nodded her head with a smirk. "I concur, Kuhaku. You break it you fix it. And as per your denial of my offer... Fair enough I suppose," she said as Kai got up and excused himself. She took inventory of those present as she stamped her denial onto the paper and filed it away to be delivered when the villages messenger corp came by later on. She rolled up the scroll in her lap, which was marked with the kanji for Money, and closed the ledger. "Aless," she began seeing the girl, rolling her drawer out and producing a dossier. "Nice to see you bearing the Sound Symbol. Wear it with pride," she offered with a bright smile after Kai excused himself from the room. It seemed to Kat that lots of things had solved themselves for her.
"Alright Kuhaku, Aless, Zephyr, and Izuru. Meet your squadmates... each other. Kuhaku will be heading your team, so I don't expect you'll see too much difficulty learning the ropes. Still, I'd stay off his bad side. Henceforth your team shall be called 'Team Slipknot.' No need to go through introductions here, you'll be getting more acquainted out in the field. Consider yourselves dismissed." she finished ushering them all towards to the door with a wave of her hand. At that point, everyone but Sumiko and the two outside should have been gone. Her eyes fell on the two genin outside of her door, and once they got moving she'd clear her throat and call out to them. Perks of reading all day, her memory was sharp. These two had been on he radar to personally take on in her squad. "Koshu, Harumi, come in please." Kat extended a chakra string from her finger, reaching a drawer and pulling it open. Another pair, like living tendrils, wrapped themselves around three scrolls, each marked with an "A," "K," and "8." "Im glad you both found your way here without me having to go look. The Academy Teachers made me aware that you have a rather strong friendship, a bond not easily severed one could say. I am pleased to see you graduated, and with a recommendation from your teachers. Koshu... you scored incredibly high marks in taijutsu, a sort of expectation what with your bloodlines and all. And Harumi, your skills and specialties are far more unique than I think even your own classmates realized. It pleases me to no end that you, and your classmates who made it through graduation, are such special shinobi. Your crop is one of a kind. That said," Kat spoke spinning a scroll on her desk with one finger.. "Consider this your official welcome to Team 'Glory and Gore.'" She said offering them each a seat while she dug around a diffent drawer on her desk for something. "You two, at least until I get you a final squadmate, will be my first and only students. Exciting stuff," she told them. "Is there anything you would expect from me as a teacher before I get into what being assigned to me will entail?" There was a sort of weight to the last question, but how they reacted to it would tell her the first thing she needed to know. The three scrolls, A,K, and 8 waited now in three rows on her desk, closer to her than them. She crossed her legs, adjusting her hat so that they could see into the woman's red eyes and offering them the two chairs closest to her desk.

Sumiko tensed for a moment as Kuhaku chided her. She was lazy, but that didn't mean that he needed to point it out in such a blatant way. She stood up from her set, stretching and looking around at the office that was growing more and more packed as time went on. She needed to go find her student too, who seemed to leave on his own. Sumiko looked at Kat, raising her hand to wave goodbye. "Oto-sama, I'll be around if you need me." She then turned and started to make her way out of the office and down the stairs to leave the building. (short post is short)
Harumi waited a moment while she let everyone leave, or at least slowly filter out of the office. From out of thin air, she produced a Magician's Hat, sitting it gently on her head as she walked past the gaggle in front of Kat's desk, taking a seat in a chair that seemed three times to big for her. She took off her hat for a moment, fumbling around inside of it for a moment before pulling out what appeared to be a small monkey that ran up her arm and sat on her shoulder, before putting the hat firmly back onto her head. She looked around the office for a second before turning her attention to the scrolls that were sitting on Kat's desk. "A, K, and 8. The heck are these for? Some kind of heroic mission scrolls? Some grand quest?" She immediatly jumped up, brandishing a wand from her sleeves and Bebe let out a loud screech of excitement. She quickly calmed down, returning to her seat, waiting for Koko to take a seat so they could actually get started with whatever it was they were going to do.

Hearing the Otokage address him and Harumi after all the other people began to shuffle in and out of the office; heading towards whatever direction they were told to go by their superiors or if they were just bored like the lame looking Yamanaka from before, Koshu allowed his piercing crimson eyes to meet with the Otokage's for a brief moment, allowing the single Tomoe to spin hypnotically as he took in her appearance before giving her a polite and kind smile. Sure he could have responded in an arrogant manner considering he was the number one Taijutsu user to graduate from the academy, but at the same time what good would it do to be arrogant to his superior, all it would do is make him look like a complete jackass. Reaching up to scratch the back of his head the navy-blue haired genin stepped forward cautiously, looking around the office at the remaining people as if they would lash out at him for brazenly sitting down when his superiors could want to sit down or something. After not being yelled at or lashed out against he sat down, crossing one leg over the other before leaning his elbow on the arm of the chair; his cheek resting comfortably against his closed fist. When the Otokage mentioned they would be apart of her own team he raised a single eyebrow in surprise before a somewhat happy smile danced across his lips, both at being on the same team as his best friend Harumi; and also because he would be trained by the Kage of his village.
Harumi, being her somewhat childish self immediately jumped at the thought that they might go on a big adventure and fight dragons and save princesses, or would it be princes? Koshu instead just sat there silently contemplating how to respond to the woman in a respectful way, whilst not completely going against the image he'd built up in the academy of being a calm and collected person who just spoke the truth when needed and avoided questions and having to answer people. After a second he spoke in a soft tone, looking over to Harumi for a moment before nodding to himself to reassure himself that it would work out in the end. "Thank you for keeping me and Harumi together Otokage-dono...I don't think I would make it without her. She's been with me since I was a wee little lad who was still being beaten up by the school bullies for being slower to graduate than them." Looking to the side awkwardly the boy reached up to scratch his chin, hoping that his words would be enough to show his gratitude to the woman without going too overboard about it, last thing he needed was to be considered some big softy because he wanted to stay with his best friend.

Kat watched the girl produce her magic hat, eyebrows rising to the sky in surprise but the rest of her face signaling that she was already impressed. When the monkey was removed Kat's mind was filled with words that had been passed down throughout the ages about her ancestor and how she viewed the middle and lower power level shinobi as monkeys. Still, it was cute and Kat could only smile as it sat on her shoulder. The screech that came from it's mouth served to make her wince a bit in her seat, but otherwise she didn't respond too much to it immediately, nor her question. Instead she merely waited as Koko sat down as well rolling the scrolls to and fro on the desk with her hands, holding a soft smile while Koshu thanked her. When he finished speaking her eyes fluttered up to him and she spoke firmly. "A very long time ago a woman who was here when this village was a plot of land and ambitious men and women held the philosophy that the weak have no place in the world. Where she and I differ, however, is that she believed, and acted on, that these 'weaklings' deserved to be culled, enslaved and forced to do the will of the strong." She sat her hat down on the end of the right corner of the desk and continued, running a hand back through her hair. "I woudl rather see the strong as goals to be met by all. You were slow to graduate, but you did so. No one can take that from you. Those who bullied you are probably going to be given mundane assignments; watch this road, watch this gate, be fodder when the enemies knock on our doors. In you i see more, the potential to grow. And you as well Harumi. Your bond will make you strong. That said," Kat remarked leaning ahead and resting a chin on her hands. "Being my pupil is no light matter. It is not for the faint of heart or the weak of mind. The training will be grueling at times. You will, here and there, want to quit. I expect you to hate me at some point. I would like to tell you it would hurt me to see you in pain. I would like to say my heart would flutter if I saw tears. Katherine Strehkovsky, however, does not lie. Not about things of this sort." She allowed a moment for her words to sink, no threats and no promises yet. Just reality.

Finally, I absolutely require you trust me. I will not harm you. I have dedicated myself to this place, to the people, to the things and ideas that make up Otogakure ever since they found a pair of barbaric monsters in the country and showed us not only mercy, but that there is a better life. Even if you don't trust in Oto, or doubt me as you come to learn what Katherine Strehkovsky really does behind the scenes... trust in that it is in the interest of preserving the legacy of Otogakure. And when the time comes that I am no longer fit, or should there be evidence that I have betrayed you or the village it is yours to stop me in my tracks. By any means. Can you make this pact with me, as your third ally will in the future." The scrolls would unroll at the flick of her finger, a blank sheet of paper and a pen in each one awaiting their decision. To Koshu opened the A, and the number 8 to Harumi. Their signature would be sufficient, in any form.

Harumi sat in her chair playing with Bebe as Kat spoke to the pair of them. She seemed to be saying something about the history of the village but it all seemed rather boring to her. History in general was pretty boring, unless it was talking about magic. She liked magic. You could do anything with Magic if you tried hard enough. Everything else had limitations and rules that couldn't be bent. Somewhere in the middle of her daydream, she snapped back into reality, just in time to hear the otokage talking about how grueling the training was going to be and that she, Kat Strepthroatsky did not lie about such things. She must have been having a hard time thinking of what to say next because she paused for a really long time after she said that. Harumi thought that maybe she was supposed to respond but instead looked to Koko to see if he was doing anything yet, but he remained silent still, so Harumi did too. A few moments later, the Kage would continue speaking to them, saying that there were going to have to hold up the village or something like that while she stood in the shadow of it or something. And even after holding up the village, she wanted three more things from her. Haru let out a sigh as she began to explain them to her but they mostly just kinda passed in one ear and out the other ear.
At the end of her speech, the Otokage finally passed Haru and Koko their own scrolls. For some reason Koko got to get the A scroll but Haru only got number 8. She couldn't even get a cool number like 7. Sighing, Harumi pulled out a marker from her hat and scribbled her name at the bottom before rubbing marker on Bebe's palm so he could add his signature as well. When she was done, she leaned back in her chair, nodding to Bebe that the time for revenge had come.
Bebe would leap off of Harumi's shoulder, landing on Koko's face before scampering down his arm to retrieve Harumi's lucky coin. It wasn't really all too lucky, but it was heads on both sides, so it counted as lucky as long as she called heads before hand and didn't let anyone see her swap it with another coin mid toss. Bebe finally climbed away from Koko and returned to Harumi's shoulder once he had the coin in his hand. Harumi would then look over at Koko, sticking her tongue out at him for a moment before returning her attention to the all important task of flipping her coin in the air.

This gives the Magicians a very high level of perception, allowing them to recognize incoming masses of chakra, as well as detecting the flow of energy within the bodies of their opponents to gain insight on their next moves. Similarly to the Rinnegan, this means that enemies with higher chakra signatures are more easily combated, as the movements in their chakra are much easier to detect. This also means that enemies with higher chakra levels can be sensed from further away. CAN I BORROW AN ASSISTANT FROM THE CROWD? -- Along with their ability to sense chakra, the natural energy connection allows the Magicians to have a personalized companion, typically an animal. This animal must be applied for within the pet applications--or right away with the bloodline application--and is subject to review from the regular summon/pet approver. If the Magician is willing to part with their ability to summon other hierarchies on the traditional summoning list, they may choose to have one much more powerful familiar, complete with a sage mode of its own. The sage mode--however--must at least mirror the current standard of sage modes in the guild, no stronger. Whereas the single summoned familiar may be more powerful than a boss summon, as it is the only summonable companion they get. if their outside chakra source is destroyed, so is their connection to this companion. Like the chakra source, this disconnection is only temporary, and can be repaired outside of battle.
Looking up at the Otokage silently as she spoke towards him he couldn't help the slight embarrassed blush that dusted his cheeks for a brief moment before he reached up to brush his nose gently to get rid of it, knowing that he was supposed to have a more aloof personality, not easily embarrassed or easily pleased by things, whereas now in her office he found himself being overly expressive when it came to his joy and now his embarrassment. She definitely had a way with her words, that he could tell just from the small speech she made about his grades and how he might have graduated late but he still graduated top in his field in the end. Just those few words were enough to make him realize that she wouldn't be too bad of a person to put his faith in for now regarding his training and safety, if the Jounin he'd seen in the office were anything to go off of the Otokage would be even more powerful than them, and given the amount of chakra being put off by the Doujutsu wielding male and the strangely silent woman he could tell he wouldn't want to face them anytime soon, especially the silent woman.
It was always the silent women that ended up being his downfall, hell even now Harumi could whoop his butt in a spar if he allowed it to become a heavily ranged battle; if he could stay on her constantly by rushing to meet her movements he could limit her actions and make it slightly easier, though they'd never gone far enough to see who would truly win one of their spars; having always been stopped by their academy teachers or even just peers who happened to stumble upon their spars in one of the many training fields in the village. Looking back at Harumi for a brief moment he let a soft smile show before shifting his gaze to her monkey, whom was currently looking at him as if planning to attack him or something. Giving an awkward stare towards Bebe the male turned to look back at Kat, taking in her words silently before merely nodding his head and reaching forward to sign the scroll laid out before him by Kat. As he did so he spoke in a soft tone, responding to her promises regarding their training and her rules behind it. "Otokage-dono...I may have graduated late, but I am by no means weak. Whatever training you can come up with I can handle, even if you break my bones everyday during a spar I'll handle it. As long as it makes me stronger I don't care what is needed."
With that said he looked away again, looking back just in time to catch the sight of Bebe jumping towards him out of the corner of his eye. Time slowed down briefly as his Sharingan spun eerily before he blinked, allowing the monkey to land on his face safely before it scurried down to retrieve Harumi's coin from his hand. Letting out a noise of amusement the males hand reached over to gently wrap around Bebe before he pulled the adorable monkey into his lap, petting it softly atop it's head as he did so. While he wasn't the biggest fan of most animals, he knew Bebe was smart enough to not act like a dog or cat in their mannerisms regarding most humans. The monkey acted almost like a disgruntled old man half the time when he was pet by Koshu, to the point where he actively sought to pet the monkey just to annoy him sometimes, it also helped his fur was very soft. With a content smile on his face the male looked forwards at Kat, waiting for her to speak more about whatever was going to be happening to the two of them.

After activating the level one cursed seal form, Kimimaro will begin to extend multiple bones from his body. Both from his rib cage and his radius and ulna. Because they are hard as steel (and can be as hard as hyper diamond at Kage), these bones can act as a strong defensive mechanism against incoming strikes. Due to this they will also serve as an offensive attack to allow Kimimaro to move with little effort to impale his opponent. • [CLASS] Physical Toughness -- The Taijutsu class not only teaches you to ignore pain, but can also make you immune to damage from weak attacks, based on your rank, making you almost immune to damage 2 ranks below you:

Kat was far more interested in what Koko had to say, since it was evident that he was far more interested in what she was saying than his counterpart. Kat listened to what he had to say and smiled, giving him a nod while she watched them sign the papers. "Eh, not to worry too much about broken bones. Eventually you really stop noticing them," she'd speak in a tone that wouldn't betray weather or not she was joking and roll up both scrolls, uncaring of what the monkey was doing. She'd take all three of the scrolls after lockign down her desk and putting everything in their places. "Alright, speaking of broken bones, I think we should get better acquainted. Everyone in the village knows about the gravity cannon and the wood hammer, but I don't think anyone in the village is too acquainted with how I do combat. Meet me in the training grounds. Consider your first mission officially beginning now." She rose, hiding the scrolls in her shirt and taking off through a window like a jumping spider. Her body stuck to something, keeping her free of danger in the air, and she would bounce between them in a blur of motion, as only the black widow could with their nigh invisible webs. Hers stretched along the entire village, connecte dto her office walls and all along the sky lines for ease of access.
Harumi watched as Koko restrained Bebe, crossing her arms in frustration, a frown on her face. After enduring his usual petting by Koshu, Bebe broke free and ran back to Harumi, who held out her hat, allowing Bebe to jump inside. Walking towards the window, Harumi began to levitate in the air, floating towards the window. As she drifted through the opening, she spun around, her legs now crossed like she was some kind of meditating monk. "We must not get lost of the path of life Young Master Koshu," she said, squinting her eyes and deepening her voice so she sounded like a wise old master. Haru waited for a moment to enjoy the look on Koko's face that was sure to follow before speeding off in pursuit of the Otokage.

[Otogakure] - [Genin] - [Hyuuga] - [Magician]
Izuru got ignored by his fellow Genin, but that was to be expected. Nothing would suddenly change now from just a few days prior from when they were all still Academy Students. Not letting it faze him any more than it already had, the little boy kept his attention in front of himself and listened to his superiors orders. The lady behind the desk would soon inform him that not only himself but also Aless and Zephyr would be on Kuhaku's team. That came as a great surprise to him and didn't put in any effort to hide it. turning to Kuhaku the little Genin had a sparkle in his eyes and he leapt for joy with a fist raised.
"Yeah! You're now officially my sensei Ojjisan!" Izuru caused more of a scene in the office than he probably should have, but what would you have done about it? He is just a boy and had a somewhat dream come true before his very eyes. He was excited, to say the least. The only problem was the weird name Katherine had given their team, but he decided not to address it for now.
