Reno begins making headway towards the pack of rapidly multiplying vermin, sweeping another group of Pokemon into the air with his Hurricane and piercing quite a few of them with Spike Cannon but it wasn't really taking care of things fast enough until...

It's been a bit since the mood has been set...

There's a half-roar half-meow that emits through the arena, though nowhere near as loudly as that savage Round from just a moment ago... A cocky looking cat with what appears to be a championship belt strapped into its waist falls onto the ground with a 'flump' as a 'mysterious' shirtless individual with a red and aqua colored mask leaps into the fray, slapping Reno's hand as he passes him. "Give me the hot tag partner!" He shouts, in a grunting sort of way, as he points a hand towards the rotating hurricane, a brilliant energy springing to light on his wrist as he strikes an odd looking pose. "Malicious Moonsault, Incineroar!" The fire-type now identified as Incineroar leaps into the air charged with a savage-looking aura. He spins a couple times in a very-misnomered 450 degree splash motion before landing inside the rapidly spinning Hurricane and igniting the moving oxygen. This creates a fiery tornado of destruction that rips open a hole in the expanding army of Shadows just long enough for...

A Bronzor and Espeon combination of attacks to punch through to the pair of Totems again, but the Raticate, showing an uncanny batch of smartness for its breed, leaps its fat pair of cheeks in the way to block the Psychic attack with its Dark-typing before the Gumshoos behind it begins digging at a hyper rapid pace, using a Mud-Slap to slow down the Flash Cannon, the judicious mud slinging winning the battle as effectively as a person slandering their political opponent in a hotly contested race with biased pollsters, slowing the projectile to half speed as it crashes into the Raticate but not at the impact speed desired. It was going to take a all-out assault on these two to make a dent it seemed... For a half a moment it looked like the spread of the Virus was going to make another horde of furry miscreants... when an odd sort of Misty looking Terrain began spreading across the newly-summoned Rattata and Yungoos, halting the progress of the virus to any new Pokemon. A kind of universal Immunizer for the area if you will.

It also put a stop to Amaranth's Butterfree's shenanigans in a hurry.
Though Butterfree had stopped scattering the shadowy dust, the Misty Terrain's sudden appearance seemed to dampen whatever remained of it in the air and neutralize it. It wouldn't be able to affect anyone else now. Amaranth gave a sigh of relief, though she was more than a little confused. First, why was Kukui wearing such a flimsy disguise and what kind of cat was that? Second, how did this terrain get here? Third, why was her and everyone else's SNAGs suddenly blaring music that sounded like it belonged in a wrestling match?

As it spreads across the turf underneath Cera who was currently beneath the Lapras, she would hear a chorus of voices in her head...

This should keep things under control... A calming, radiant sounding voice said.

Yow! Things are getting pretty wild in here huh? It's been a while since we've had to step in! Sizzled a second, wild-sounding one.

Mmmm... such a thing is... interfering with the natural circle of life... Intoned a third, deep baritone sounding voice.

I think the real question is what is this one doing here underneath all this fat... Snipes the fourth, in a haughty sort of tone. Didn't know they made legends as useless as this outside our islands... Clearly this last comment was being directed at the rather squished Mew beneath her cheery new Lapras.
Cera would still be struggling to free herself from underneath the knocked out Lapras, the Misty Terrain slowly making the Pokemon's underside more slippery. Despite this, it still wasn't enough to escape, and that's when she started hearing voices. Calming as the first voice was, she huffed and spoke up. "Reno, cut it out! You're not funny!" She yelled, only for another, wilder voice to speak. To her, it sounded like they'd had way too much coffee this morning.

By the third voice, she was beginning to realize that Reno might not be the one speaking to her. Or ones. Maybe she was going delirious from lack of oxygen, she thought. "Interfering with what now? I can hear you, you know!"

Finally, as if some cruel response to her own, she'd hear the fourth voice seemingly referring to herself. She didn't know of anyone else under a whole lot of fat. But being called useless struck a chord that didn't set well with her, prompting a response. "Oh, well excuse me for having a little trouble here! A little help would be great right about now, without the high-and-mighty tone! Or maybe see how you'd like being squished, hm?"

"Who are you talking to!?" Amaranth asked after a while. Cera might've been the only one to hear the quartet of voices, but the Mew's was coming in loud and clear to everyone including those voices. "I don't hear anyone talking like that- uh oh..." Her train of thought would derail when...

The Snagems who were working their way through the Shadow Pokemon and facing off against Zygarde would soon find a horde of classy-looking Flare grunts with sunglasses as well as a very familiar looking face in a form-fitting black and orange Expansion Suit blocking their way back into the Verdant Cavern.

"Hey!" One of the grunts shouts, before the lot of them release a combination horde of Zubat, Swalot, and Mighteyena. "Get away from our Zygarde!"

The Grunt in question would all of a sudden find himself on the ground wheezing for air as a result of a sudden puff of poisonous gas directly to his face. It looked like Zera had regained her composure after being directly assaulted from the Snagems. "Who are you guys supposed to be?!" She demands, clearly still a little unhinged from the attack earlier. "Just a bunch of near and or far sighted wanna-bees from the looks of it!" she shouts, releasing her newly-caught Grimer.

Kess has a Pokeball too, launching her Electabuzz into the fray, neither of whom appeared to be Shadow as they squared off with the group of Flare Grunts. Kess for her part however snaps out a single arm, launching a resounding Thunderbolt towards Aile. "Weren't you on their side last time little missy?" She shouts, cocking her head towards the battling Snagems.

All of a sudden, Zera moves Kess' arm out of position, sending the electricity snapping off as it obliterates one of the Flare grunts nearby, causing him to do his best Wilhelm scream impression. "Zera what the..." She stops at the look in her partner's eye.

"I remember this one, the little turncoat is mine..." Zera hisses, pointing towards Aile. "Sludge Bomb!" The Grimer hefts a load of toxic goop from its insides before launching the group as a volley towards Aile's shiny new suit, intent on melting it.

"Ngh... gettem boys!" One of the Flare Grunts shouts and half of the gang charges the Snagems from behind while the other half charges the Ciphers. Not exactly the friendliest bunch are they... ?
...Team Flare had seemingly entered the fray, including someone in some odd suit. "Um, they make those condom things for women too?" She asked, her naive tone suggesting that she wasn't sure what to think beyond it looking ridiculous. Her Butterfree, despite immense agitation, kept nearby and tried to keep some of the Flare Grunts at bay with a prompt Whirlwind.

Crystal growled at the two Totem Shadow Pokémon, beginning to get frustrated. “Okay here, you two are beginning to annoy me…. And you can be quiet, I am NOT losing my temper! Not yet, anyways,” She looked up to see Kairos returning, launching off an Air Slash at the two Shadow Totem Pokémon, then turned to his trainer.

‘Miss Crystal, I see you have encountered more trouble of your own.’

“Yes, Kairos, we have That’s for the assist, but I think I’m going to have to bring out the big guy for this.’

‘If there was ever a use for him, now would be the best time, I suppose.’

Crystal rolled her eyes as she looked back at the two Totem Pokémon, bringing out another Pokéball. “Demon Wing, Flare Blitz! Let’s end this here with these two! Apolla, help him out with a Helping Hand, and Donne, use Telekinesis on those two! Get the tan rodent into the air, at least!”

The Charizard would roar when he reemerged, a spin of sparkles appearing with him momentarily. Apolla would create a ball of energy to send over to Demon Wing, empowering the flames starting to engulf the black lizard. Donne the Bronzor would rotate himself once before its eyes began to glow blue, attempting to lift up the Gumshoos into the air to make it easier to hit as Demon Wing charged forward, his body blazing brightly as he went to attack the two Totem Pokémon. Hopefully, this wouldn’t turn out too badly for the Charizard. Thank goodness for the Immunizers.

Aile looked at the mess surrounding them when they entered the main area of fighting. Snagems, Ciphers, Shadow Pokémon, and a Zygarde. All of them at each other’s throats. And her group didn’t simplify anything. “Wonderful. Alright, watch each other’s back here-” She’d be cut off as Kess launched her attack, Zera causing it to go wide and hit one of the grunds under her command. “Tch.” The woman would jump backwards as she had her rainbow pile of animate sludge launch a putrid glob of its toxins out, pushing any grunts behind her back with her to keep them from becoming the next target. “You know, this is why I don’t like you. You really don’t give any sort of care about the world around you. I’m almost confident you infected those Pokémon and didn’t even bat an eyelash.” Before retaliating, she would head over to the downed grunt and check on his pulse, making sure he was still breathing. With a nod, she motioned for two nearby grunts to grab him and carry their comrade out before returning to look at Zera. “I’ll be honest, I didn’t like the idea of donning this thing again. I barely controlled it last time, and I don’t like the idea of needing to enhance my abilities artificially to beat someone. I’ll make an exception for you, though.” She brought out a Pokéball of her own and sent out the Pokémon within it, Sandygast. “Alright Sarlacc, time for your debut! Let’s start off with a Sandstorm!”

“Saaaaand!” The eternally sad looking little pile of sand with a fashionable shovel for a hat cried out, summoning a large Sandstorm to cover the battlefield. In addition to annoying any non steel, ground, or rock types on the field, as well as giving Aile a more comfortable arena to fight in, the little Sandygast would be noticeable harder to find in it, the size and color of the Pokémon helping it to blend in really well. Aile would be fine in her new weather conditions, flicking up on the side of her to turn the visor of her helmet completely opaque before running forward to attack Zera herself, throwing out a right hook before attempting meet heads with Zera’s in a headbutt.

"Flare. That's just great," Isaac muttered as he took stock of the evolving situation in the cavern. "Hopefully Cipher will tie them up, and our two biggest enemies will take out each other." Still the situation wasn't looking good. The throng of infected rodents had been cleared out, but there were still the totem Pokemon and Zygarde to contend with, on top of the interfering organizations. If the team was to have any hope of winning here, they were going to need to focus their attention, which meant removing the lesser threats quickly.

"Oh, well excuse me for having a little trouble here! A little help would be great right about now, without the high-and-mighty tone! Or maybe see how you'd like being squished, hm?"

For that matter, getting team members out from under fainted blubber would also be helpful. Fishing in the lab coat for a moment, Isaac retrieved an empty Pokeball, before pitching it at the Laparas that was still squashing the tiny Mew. "Here you go Cera," he called out, as the aquatic Pokemon vanished into the capsule with a flash, "You can keep the ball."

Now, to deal with the lesser threats. A streak of lizard and flame nearby indicated that he wasn't the only member of the team to decide that the totems deserved a quick removal. Stepping up next to his Clawitzer and Magnemite, Isaac pointed at the infected island Raticate. "Aura Sphere. Thunderbolt," he announced in crisp clear tones. Moments later a projectile of concentrated chi shot past him, homing in on the dark variant rodent, escorted by a lance of electric chi, both attacks hammering away at the wounded totem Pokemon, hopefully putting it out of commission for the rest of the battle.

“Froslass, now! Use-“ Before I managed to get another attack call off, I then covered my ears from the ungodly wailing of the group Round unleashed upon the Shadow Pokemon. “Ok, that…works too.” I said. “Alright now, the Zygarde. We got to get this thing out of here or out for the count! Crystal! Isaac! How much time do we have on those immunizers!?” I then shouted out to them, before perking up and taking notice to the Flare Grunts that made their way onto the scene. “Freakin’ hell…who invited them!? Apparently it wasn’t out of their travel budget after all. Great.” I said.

With most of the newfound Shadow Pokemon taken out of commission, there was still the two super powered ones and now the Zygarde. Considering Flare is here, I had the feeling we’re going to have to make Zygarde’s leaving a priority just so Flare doesn’t get their dirty hands on the thing. One thing came as a blessing in disguise though…Aile’s here, and Zera is picking a fight with her. Furthermore, Kess is fighting the grunts to keep them off of Zera’s case? You know? I am okay with this. If they can wipe each other out, that’s just fine by me. Alright, Zygarde it is, then. That being said, how do you get this thing out of here? Considering that it apparently showed no fear to the likes of Shadow Pokemon and decided to attack everyone on sight, I got the feeling that it’s got quite the pair, so scaring it off isn’t going to be easy. Not that it would have been easy in the first place. Unlike Freth, I don’t necessarily have anyone that can send a Pokemon packing with the likes of Roar or Whirlwind…provided any Pokemon could send this thing packing. In that case, brute force it…

“Psy! Helping Hand on Froslass!” I called out. Psy teleported off and got near Froslass, giving aid to the ghost. “Froslass! Blizzard!” Psy focused, channeling his power into Froslass. Froslass inhaled deep then with a shriek on par of a banshee unleashed an even stronger snowstorm, its target being the Zygarde. We had to get this thing running for dear life, one way or another.

Meanwhile, the Blitzle rushed over to his trainers side once the dust clears, nudging the boy with its head. “Ugnnnh…” Tristen moaned out. The kid was hurting, rather badly at that. “Blitzle?” The boy then spoke up. Another couple of whines from the zebra. “I’m fine, I’m…fine.” The boy went to push himself up, only to feel one massively sharp shooting pain fire off right when he moved his arm. “AAAH!” Tristen cried out, tearing up. That one really hurt. Probably one of the worst pains he’s ever been conscious and coherent to experience. The boy looked over towards his left arm, out of the corner of his eye seeing something sticking out, seemingly around his shoulder. One of the arrow-like projectiles stuck in the boy in a rather awkward spot, its sole purpose to weigh something down and cause immense amounts of damage to any unfortunate soul that experienced it. Something that would have probably dug deeper, if not been outright fatal, if it weren’t for his reinforced clothing. The Zygarde did this…just…right out of the blue. The Blitzle reached over, biting down on the arrow to pull it out. Another hard, sharp shooting pain as the Blitzle started to pull. “AAAA! Blitzle, no! Don’t do it! Leave…leave it there. I don’t…don’t have anything to stop the bleeding if it came out now.”

Before Tristen could take another shot at getting up, the Blitzle makes one hard pained whine and gets sent tumbling off. Tristen turned his head, seeing the Magmar. It blindsided the zebra, managing to work up the will to fight through the paralysis and attack its assailant. “Blitzle!” Tristen cried out. The Magmar walked off, approaching its new found target and getting ready for a finishing blow. Tristen shifted, fighting through the pain, pushing up on his free arm and struggled back up. He looked around, fighting going on all around, but Zera apparently was fortunately pre-occupied with Aile that apparently made her way onto the scene. He had to go while the getting was good. The boy gritted his teeth, fighting through the pain. The Blitzle managed to get back on its feet, shaking its head, not too thrilled by getting hit from such an attack. “Blitzle! Use…use Shockwave!” Tristen shouted.

The Blitzle stood its ground, charging and discharging its electrical onslaught, the electrical pulse sweeping upon and through the shadowfied Magmar, electricity coursing through every inch of it. However, while the damage was there, it wasn’t going to be enough to deter the likes of this walking inferno. The Magmar continues to fight through the paralysis, stepping heavy at first then rushed forward, its shadowy aura flaring up and smashes into the tiny Blitzle with its Shadow Rush. “Blitzle! No!” With it no longer being shadowed itself, the damage was back to being as extreme as it could get, especially for the likes of the tiny zebra.

The Blitzle managed to get back up, though uneasy on its feet now. It wasn’t going to be able to take another attack like that one. It was just as Tristen feared. Blitzle wasn’t capable of dishing the kind of damage that he needed to stop this much burlier Magmar in its tracks. Paralysis was only going to do so much. That said, he had to try to keep Blitzle out as long as possible. He had to pull a few stunts, just as he has done before to others. “Blitzle, Flash!” Tristen shouted out.

The tiny Zebra’s mane crackled with electricity then unleashed a hard blinding light upon the Magmar. The Magmar yelped out, seeing hard spots before its eyes. The Magmar rushed forward with an ignited fist, as if it was trying to Fire Punch the likes of the Zebra, but between the blindness and the paralysis, the Magmar stumbled forward, getting down on its hands and knees. The Magmar’s flames on its body flickered from the Pokemon’s ever growing irritation, growing ever closer to it getting into its hyper state. “Blitzle, Spark!” Tristen shouted.

The Blitzle whined out, rushing forward, its body crackling with electricity, smashing headfirst into the Magmar, sending more electricity into it, much to the fire Pokemon’s dismay, and knocking it backwards. The Magmar grounded starts trying to struggle through the paralysis and starts trying to get up. “Blitzle! Stomp!” Tristen said. Usually he’d not be one for kicking while its down, but given that this is a Shadow Pokemon that already showed that it wasn’t going to show the same courtesy, it was a given he had to go for it. The Blitzle ran around, reared back, bringing his fore legs up then came down as hard as it could to drive the Magmar’s head back into the dirt of the cavern.

The Magmar pushed up and swatted blindly towards the Blitzle, the zebra quickly backing away from the walking furnace. The Magmar unleashes a dark, sparkling, mist like attack in the area which saturated the area. Its Shadow Mist attack. “Blitzle! Get out of there!” Tristen shouted. The Magmar then ignited its flames and let loose a couple of embers. Zera’s trademark move, Tristen started to recognize. The dark, gaseous mist ignited, making a gigantic fireball in the area. “Blitzle!”

Tristen was sure that the Blitzle got caught up in the inferno, only to hear the frantic stomping of his Blitzle. He looked over, seeing the Blitzle appearing a ways away, coming out of its frantic speed of Agility. “Blitzle!” A sigh of relief came out of the boy. The shadow Magmar took notice, turning around and getting ready to attack once more, but then the paralysis gripped it once more. “Blitzle! Shockwave!” Tristen then called out once again. The Shockwave rushes for the Magmar once more and electrocuting the Magmar, bringing the fiery Pokemon to its knees. Its shadowy status not allowing it to keep fighting on through as hard as it once was.

“Blitzle, stay out of the way! My turn. ” The boy shouted, readying a Great Ball in its SNAG machine. With a charge, the boy threw the ball, the pain from Zygarde’s attack reminding its presence in the process. The ball hit its target and the Magmar was consumed by the device. Tristen stared rather intensely at the ball as it started shaking. The pressure was on at this point. More shaking. The boy’s heart was racing. Nervousness started to dull the pain that was on him. Yet more shakes. The Blitzle grinds its hooves into the ground, trying to get ready for the worst should the Magmar struggle back out. Another shake…then a click. “…we got it…” Tristen said. “We actually got it.” Tristen walks over to the ball, leans over slowly trying not to agitate his injury any more than what it already has and picked up the ball. “Zera isn’t going to have a good day if I got anything to say about it.”

The boy looked back at the fighting that he separated from, seeing the fights still on their way then looked back at the Blitzle. “Thank you Blitzle.” Tristen said, recalling the zebra. It’s done good today. Tristen hobbled off back towards his father figure. There was a lot to own up to at this point.

The Dark One wouldn't know what hit him. One minute he was chasing after a weird looking Rattata through a weird forest on a weird island and the next thing he knows a zombie dragon and his butterfly buddy fall out of the sky and land on him and Landor. What was with things raining down on him in this region!? "Don't they have flight ordinances in this place..." Sub moaned from underneath Darts and Beau. "...which one of you caught a Celebi..." Sub commented in reference to Beau's and Darts' remarks, as well as the appearance of the Flare grunts. "Mind getting off me, dead head?" He asked Darts.

The doppy grunts wouldn't gawk at the two hybrids and human for too much longer as something else showed up for them to oggle at, however briefly. "S-sir!" One stuttered before all three went silent, standing up straight as they saluted the man who just strolled in behind the three Snagems, said red clad man snapping his fingers at Beau, one of the metallic bug-like machines flying around him lashing out and tazering the butterfly man. "I suggest you all stay kneeled." He almost whispered at the three Snagems.

"Lysandre..." Sub hissed as he struggled to get him and Darts untangled.

"Every so often the Earth corrects its self..." Lysandre began to speak, making his way through the fighting and towards the Zygarde despite the oncoming Blizzard, the massive gale consuming the worm as it roared in agony from inside the storm. "...by using the many different tools at her disposal. Volcanic eruptions to purge the ugly failed creatures. Floods and great winds to sculpt the land back to its former beauty. Earthquakes to remove the hideous blemishes of tasteless cities. Now the world has chosen her next tool to cleanse herself of generations of filth and decidance. I am her hand and you are her tool, Zygarde! Together we shall restore our beautiful queen to her former glory! Never again will ugliness plague the land!" With that said Lysandre held a certain green cube up high and pointed the machine on his arm at the mass of cells. A red beam would fire from it and illuminate the cell pile, the entire mass suddenly converted into green energy and then promptly absorbed by the cube.

"Make yourself whole again, Zygarde, and bring about beauty's revolution!" Lysandre would then hold the cube out in front of him as it shined, the two machines buzzing around him casting their red lights on the Zygarde inside the Blizzard. The energy would then fire out of the cube and pass through the machines who then directed it towards the dragon, the energy disappearing in the storm.

"Gaaarde!" Roared the monster, the entire cavern shaking from the sound of its cry. A blinding green glow would come from inside the Blizzard, a sphere of light seen inside. The ball of energy would shortly after expolde, dispeling the Blizzard and sending a shockwave of energy spreading through out the cavern, a burst of crystal-like rainbow energy shooting up into the sky along with it as rainbow shards now rained over Alola.

In place of the worm now stood a towering humanoid creature, just barely resembling the Zygarde before. The beast stood motionless and yet its presence was enough to instill fear, the raw energy this thing was giving off was not natural, the overflow of its pure natural energy it gave off causing flowers to grow around. Zygarde was complete.

With this burst of natural energy, the flowers growing outwards from every direction the shockwave would also have another more distinct effect. Every Shadow Pokemon currently released in the area around it would become instantly purified, permanently purging every single trace of the Shadow Virus from their system as though they had gone through the purification process, instantly rendering them immunity at the same time. From every wild Pokemon called in from the Totem Pokemon, to the Totem Pokemon themselves, to every Shadow Pokemon the Snagems had released in the fight, they all were instantly fully purified. If that wasn't enough of a demonstration of the massive power possessed by Complete Zygarde, anyone that felt that the Totem Pokemon were strong would be completely blown backwards in their estimation in the upper limits of this thing's power at least from an energy standpoint. It dwarfed the power of anything nearby, Totem Pokemon included. If Zygarde Complete was the sun, then the Snagems were ants in comparison. There was almost no way to make a comparison in power levels. Normally a Helping Hand Blizzard might have KO'd Zygarde but now it looked... completely healthy.

Furthermore, even though a Pokemon of this power level should have been able to sense the intent of a human such as Lysander it looked like the thing was going along with following the dictator's orders for some as-hitherto-yet unrevealed reason. That sure wasn't good.

A couple moments earlier, before the transformation...

I would Shadowify this thing too," She says, shooting the Sandygast a glare. "If these blasted Immunizers weren't all over the place..." As the sandstorm kicks up, she holds a hand up to keep they particulates out of her eyes and of course that allows Aile to come out of the storm at full speed. The Koffing hybrid manages to catch the right hook in her own hand, her reflexes were fast enough for that, but the headbutt was completely unanticipated and the bridge of Aile's helmet smashes into her nose with a crunching sound, sending a stream of black sludge-esque blood rolling down her face. "You little piece of-" Her hand snaps back, revealing a Master Ball containing what would be one of the three mythical Regi, the great ice golem known as Regice, but before she can toss the capture capsule and unleash a beatdown of mythical proportions on the turncoat, the massive burst of natural energy as well as Lysander's arrival would occur, and she would forget all about Aile, at least momentarily. The other thing that would cut her off would be Kess' arrival, panting as she tosses a pair of smoking Flare Grunts at her feet, no doubt only a few of the group she had mowed through during the mass fight.

"We gotta go Zera, this is getting beyond anything we expected to run- what happened to your nose?" She looks back and forth between Aile with her hands clenched in a fighting pose and Zera's broken nose. "Underestimated her, huh? Well then." She addresses Aile with a sense of finality. "I would suggest not fighting me. I don't care what kind of fancy suit you have, it's not going to be much use against me. Let's go Zer, Ein's going to want to know about this."

"F-fine..." Zera spits, her rage barely contained as she stashes the Master Ball back on her belt. "Magmar, let's get..." She turns, only to discover that Tristen had already taken her Pokemon and she goes just about ballistic with rage, forcing Kess to restrain her bodily as she strives to near either Tristen or Aile. "You damned Snagems, you f---ing relics of a bygone era, I'm not going to rest until you are all gone from this world in the most heinously painful way I swear to Arceus let me go Kess!" The Zapdos hybrid ignores Zera and her bleeding nose's request, pulling her away still inch by inch, but as she's leaving the Koffing hybrid inhales and shoots a spitball made of boiling Sludge that hits dead-on Aile's visor. There's a faint smoking that comes from it as the corrosive substance begins devouring her helmet's front. This of course, also obscured her vision. For now it was her helmet if she waited too long it would be more of a blindness related issue. And with that, the Ciphers were gone, rushing past the prone Beau, Sub, and Darts on the way out without a backwards glance.

In the meantime, those that were dealing with Flare and the Shadow Pokemon (well, ex-Shadow Pokemon once the pulse went through them, but this all happened moments before that particular pulse went through...)

TerashiLeonGoken

I walked toward Flare, while Keiko headed toward the Shadowed Totems. Rala stayed by my side in case my headache flared up again, but it was Sparrow I chose to battle the Flares that had charged the other Snagems with. "Use Agility, Sparrow," I said, hoping to get her speed up before she had to fight.

Keiko let Hera out of her ball once she was safely within an immunizer's range. "Megahorn, Hera!" Keiko shouted. Hera's horn glowed with Bug-type energy before she charged, running on a collision course to Shadow Yungoos, her horn held low so that it'd be the first thing to come into contact with the Totem Pokemon.
Arkelos

Seeing the blast radius of the round attack Arkelos turns his attention to the care of his pokemon. "ABRA!" He screamed kneeling down next to the pokemon. "Thank you Abra, you did outstanding. Please rest up, i'll let you get a nice long rest, you have earned it." Turning to all his canines that are joining them Arkelos comforts them as well. "You all did an outstanding job. When we get home i'm going to have Jezebel fix yall up a special meal, for all yall's hard work."

Arkelos returned all the pokemon back to their pokeballs. Standing up he runs over to Jezebel to check on her. "Jezebel are you oka----eeeyyy; What happend to you?"

---------

Jezebel and Vulpix were lying on the ground covered in dirt and dust. Standing up her outfit was stained with mud, her red hair is now a dark Amber color. It's frizzy with mud, a few small sticks, and leaves.

She turns around to see Arkelos running up to her. "Do you REALLY have to ask? I was almost mauled by two rodents that i feel should be in a theme park. I'm cover in mud, my outfit is ruined, and -- Oh, OH NO! VULPIX!" Quickly surveying the area she finds vulpix to what seem to be crying in a puddle of mud with it's tails are muddy and messy. There is not a drop of orange color on her. "Oh, you poor thing." She sat down next to the still young vulpix. "You hate your fur being all messy. Tell you want i'll wipe off what i can, than when we get to the next pokemon center; i'll get you fixed up good." The Vulpix has a happier face and even spits out a few embers. "Thank you for saving me, you really did a great job." The Vulpix jumps from her lap to the new turn of events.

----------

Arkelos and Jezebel both stand there as the Team Flare members show up. "Oh lord not these goons again." Arkelos said with disdain. "What do you fools what? Beside the overly massive pokemon that stands there between us and those two." Jezebel wipes what dirt and mud from herself and vulpix. "Who are those guys? I've heard of a group that ran around Kalos causing trouble. Never encounter them before though." Arkelos turned his head to Jezebel. "They're trouble makers in Kalos last i remember. What they are doing here i have the slightest clue."
Requiem of Whyspers

And it just hit the fan. What in the world was going on now?! This was total chaos! Lykas, though as he hugged Cadenza. "Thanks for that." He told the Ghost type before racing towards the Flare grunts. Cipher could be put on hold for the moment, as far as he was concerned. Especially since Flare were the ones trying to get their hands on a legendary Pokemon at the moment. Rushing towards the Flare grunts, he tossed out a Pokeball, releasing his Quilava. "Boomscreen!" He ordered. Lux knew that move all too well and let a sadistic grin spread across his face as he charged Fire energy into his mouth. Inhaling deeply and letting out a billowing cloud of black smoke, he grew ever more excited as the cloud expanded. He would hold it as long as he could manage before he simply had to stop and breath again.

"And boom." Lykas stated with his own grin as Lux stopped exhaling smoke. In that instant, the fire energy in the smoke ignited. Small explosions like fireworks littered the smokescreen, blasting anything and everything in range with searing embers. Recalling Lux after his attack was done, Lykas looked to the other group of Flares who'd been missed by hiding behind them. "I see you!" He shouted before charging a large orb of Water before his forehead jewel only to release it all in a powerful geyser via his Waterspout attack. Since he still had most of his energy, it was fairly powerful, too. Sweeping it across the group, he aimed to wash them away.

Odd recalled Cadenza at this point, wanting him to stay safe from infection. At least, he started to. Just as he pulled out the Shedinja's Premier Ball, he found himself in a different location, though still panting heavily. "Huh?" With little time to think about it, he readjusted his aim and recalled Cadenza for real this time. Stowing the Premier Ball, he took out an old fashioned Pokeball and recalled Replay, who was now perched on his head, he noticed. Returning that ball to his belt as well, he took a different Pokeball off his belt and released Entr'Acte. "You want Shadow Pokemon? I'll show you Shadow Pokemon!" He exclaimed, both hands on the blade's handle. His hands flashed black as he attempted to channel energy and use one of his moves but the black light fizzled away instantly. "You can't channel?!" He asked the sword Pokemon This was a first. He hadn't attempted to channel through Entr'Acte before so it had never occurred to him that the Shadow Virus could hinder such a bond.

"Fine. Aerial Ace!" He commanded the sword as he charged forward and leaped. Entr'Acte filled himself with Flying energy and, with it, allowed Odd to jump with him as he flew towards the Totem Pokemon, aiming to strike at Gumshoos. When the duo landed, Odd let go of Entr'Acte's handle, though grabbed his ribbon to keep him from getting far away, yanking him back after his attack. "Good job. Now, before they fight back, Autotomize!" The channeler ordered. In order to speed up his offense, Entr'Acte ditched his sheath, dropping it into Odd's empty left hand, whereupon, the Channeler stowed it into his partially open backpack, leaving only the top six inches or two exposed to the open air, before returning said hand to he Pokemon's handle.

Isaac Hawking

Darksol88
..Team Flare had seemingly entered the fray, including someone in some odd suit.

Between the Spearow zipping amongst their numbers, the Boomscreen combination from Lykas' Quilava, and the Butterfree Whirlwind that helped in spreading the Boomscreen's area even further, the Snagems were able to make quick work of the gang of Flare Grunts, sending them sprawling in a heap of red coats and sunglasses. Those that had been fighting near Kess, again pre-pulse and pre-dragging of Zera, would have seen the Zapdos hybrid's blade dispatching grunts two at a time, a streaking lightning bolt in motion as she danced through the Flares, dispatching them with all the ease of a grandmaster against a novice. The three of them made short work of the mass of Flare grunts, and even Kess has to hold back a disproving snort before running off to deal with her partner. Seemed like the Snagems had been growing stronger with time...

On the other side of the enormous melee of destruction, the two Pokemon left in the fight were the infected Totem Pokemon, tenaciously holding on as they gave the Snagems a run for their money. Well, at least they had been until the Snagem Special began to unfold upon their sorry hides. Firstly a Megahorn from Heracross speared the Gumshoos square in the midsection before Demon Wing's spiraling Helping-hand assisted Flare Blitz, assisted by the Bronzor's Psychic sends both Pokemon into the cliff wall, with the Gumshoos definitely on the worse side of things.

Because of the change in area, Odd's rapid fire Aerial Ace would miss the Gumshoos, but his well-trained pattern would simply dance from the Gumshoos to the Raticate that had been directly behind it, a vicious slashing combination that ends once Isaac's artillery barrage came in to support him, a barrage of Aura Spheres and Thunderbolts hailing down on the fat rat leaving it a smoking mass of whiskers and fatty pockets... and even still, it seemed like the half-dead Pokemon were going to try and raise up and continue fighting until the pulse of energy crossed them, eliminating their virus-based need to continue fighting.

Isaac Hawking

For that matter, getting team members out from under fainted blubber would also be helpful. Fishing in the lab coat for a moment, Isaac retrieved an empty Pokeball, before pitching it at the Laparas that was still squashing the tiny Mew. "Here you go Cera," he called out, as the aquatic Pokemon vanished into the capsule with a flash, "You can keep the ball."

Darksol88

Flare was distracting no doubt, but it would probably doubly derail when she heard a chorus of four of the voices from earlier shimmering through her consciousness This one seems to need our help... and badly I'd say, poor little useless- The mental harassing from the last discernible voice would cut off as Cera, her newly-purified Lapras as she had been hit with the pulse before Isaac had managed to capture her, and the Pokeball all vanish together in a strange burst of four lights.

Reno Vantas

Reno felt genuinely awed when he watched the Incineroar dive into and ignite the Hurricane that had been produced by Nova. While the slap had caught his attention, it was truly this moment that made him instantly respect whoever this man was. However, he was still technically in command here and he needed to take charge. Quickly readjusting his aim, Reno began to direct Tesei as he fired a barrage of Icicle Spears to take care of the other Shadow Pokemon that were still running around and provide some moisture for the inevitable fire fighting effort to come. "So, nice of you to show up. Care to give me a name?" Reno asked the strange luchador, glancing at him as he continued with his efforts to skeet shoot small rodents. Nova would be still as she stared into the awe-inspiring fire tornado, drinking in the energy and size of such an event with the best approximation of a giddy grin that the moth's face could manage.

Beau would protest Darts' efforts to make him let go of the coat. "Damnit no. I need some help staying in the air!" Unaware of the impending crash landing, Beau would continue to scramble for grip before he managed to become entangled inside the piece of clothing and cover his head. With the impact, a few puffs of powder would erupt from each slam into the ground before they eventually came to a stop and Beau had managed to untangle from the coat. Just in time to stare at the Flare grunts in front of them. "Darts, does your coat time travel? Because I feel like we just jumped back a few years here." Beau asked, slowly getting himself onto his feet. "And we picked up a third time traveller when we did so. Welcome to the past, Sub."

SubonicXP

Darts, Sub, and Beau would only make it into the cavern to see a pile of smoking Flare Grunts, a pair of unconscious Totem Pokemon, and one enormous problem in the form of the power-dwarfingly strong Zygarde Complete with a smug-looking Lysander standing next to it going on about perfecting the world. What had happened in here?

The Masked Royal turns to Reno with an outstretched hand for a handshake. "The name is the fantastic Masked Royal, friend. Undefeated, never cheated, can't be beated." His face beneath the mask turns grim, however, as he turns to look at Zygarde complete. "Until now I believe..."

Darts barely has comprehension of the situation before him. Being the most in tune with Dragon energy, this was a bigger reservoir than anything he had ever sensed. Even his own master, Teacher, seemed nothing more than an insignificant speck compared to this thing... and seeing how it was under Lysander's control there was really only one option for the moment. They had to get out of their with their lives as fast as they could... but there was one little piece of business the gambler was determined to take care of first if he could. Over by the door way he noticed a certain skin-tight body-suit wearing turncoat struggling with the latch to her helmet. He rushes forwards suddenly, yanks the helmet free with a vicious crunch as his muscles tear it free from her head, accidentally and fortunately sparing her eyes from the sludge. "Hey there friend." He growls, beneath his golden crest. "Remember me, your old pal the Regirock baiting Darts?" One way or another he was bringing Aile back with them, he still owed her a debt... and no one walked away from a Dartsian debt... He snares her in a full-nelson of sorts... but dragging her out of here by his self was going to be very awkward without some assistance.

"We have to get out of here!" he shouts at the group, which includes the Masked Royal for the moment. "But we have to take her with us! She's too big a security risk to let go with them! Especially with that! This is our one shot to find out why she did what she did!" He nods his golden head towards the massive massive behemoth and Lysander who was still monologuing and ignoring them for the moment. "Help me!" There's a bit of panic in the voice of the Giratina hybrid, very unusual for the usually always confident legendary Dragon-type. "NOW!"

Everything that'd come next was a whirlwind of events. Amaranth was still having a hard time wrapping her head around there being so many enemies. If it wasn't the army of Shadow Pokemon and their leaders, then it was Zera and Kess. And then there was Team Flare. And that was just in the last few minutes prior. Now, there was also her and Butterfree being blown against a wall of the cavern from the sheer energy that Zygarde had unleashed in its new state, the blinding flash ensuring that they didn't see it coming.. With it came another unexpected occurrence as her Butterfree's body seemed to lighten in color ever so slightly and didn't seem quite as ready to go on any sort of rampage.

Shortly after, Butterfree would slide down to the ground, the combined impacts proving too much for him to handle.

Cera wouldn't end up going anywhere from Zygarde's purifying blast, safely underneath a Lapras that wouldn't budge. The prompt removal when Isaac temporarily caught it would reveal that, bizarrely, the Mew wasn't there at all now. The ball would nearly hit the ground before it too vanished, leaving only the four lights as they swirled around and faded. Perhaps she had become one with Lapras' blubber and was in the ball too? Or was she trying to play tricks with Isaac's head? Whatever the case, she wasn't there and Isaac was out a Pokeball.

In fact, those lights were the most Amaranth saw aside from her Butterfree next to her. She'd overhear the Masked Royal, followed by Darts as he went to put Aile in some hold she had never seen before, let alone heard of. "Help how!?" She asked as she recalled her now-purified Butterfree and started fishing around for the one containing her Togekiss. "Aside from Breeze. She might be able to carry that tv-show knockoff, contents and all."

"You damned Snagems, you f---ing relics of a bygone era, I'm not going to rest until you are all gone from this world in the most heinously painful way I swear to Arceus-"

"YOU'RE ONE TO ~/~ TALK!!!" I roared, having had quite enough of villains for the day. My shout was directed at both Zera and Lysandre, though I explained myself one enemy at a time. "Do you have ANY IDEA how much destruction you caused in Hoenn!? Let alone what the Pokemon that GET Shadowified go through!? AND YOU!" I screamed, changing my focus from Zera to Lysander. "Don't think I'm not aware of the ~/~ YOU'VE been pulling! I know all about your little plan to conquer Kalos! Don't think for a second that you're getting away with that!"

"Quite frankly," I growled, recalling Sparrow for Rala, "You can BOTH ~/~ OFF!!

As soon as I said that, Rala blanketed the cavern with Hyper Voice, screaming as loud as she could, the attack amplified by the anger she felt within me. The attack was meant for Lysandre and Zera specifically, but there wasn't any way I could prevent the rest of the cavern's visitors from being affected. Granted, Zygarde probably wouldn't feel it due to its massive power, but the newly purified Totems probably would, let alone the Snagems around me. But I was so angry, I couldn't think about anything but my hatred toward the villains in the room.

Aile looked over to Zygarde when it became its complete form, her jaw dropped slightly. “Is that… That’s supposed to be?... Wow.” She’d turn back to Zera just in time for the Sludge to hit her helmet full on. “Merde!” She would scramble to try and get the helmet off, aiming her head down so the corrosive sludge would at least try and eat through it slower when she heard the one voice she was dreading during all of this, one that would make her blood run cold. The helmet would be mercifully torn off by Darts, but only to be put into a strong hold by the undead dragon hybrid. “Gah! Let me go, you undead daemon! Sarlacc, a little help, please,” she pleaded with her little pile of sand, who happily obliged by creating and firing off a Shadow Ball at the Giratina hybrid. After that, Aile would attempt to grab Darts’ head and have it crash into hers, hopefully between the two attacks giving Aile enough room to escape from the hold. Rala’s Hyper Voice wouldn’t be helping her any, though, as she wasn’t really able to get her ears up to cover them in the hold. “Dear heavenly Arceus, my ears!”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Crystal, though she registered Darts’ request, wouldn’t really be doing much in the way of assisting. She would be staring at the now complete Zygarde just open mouthed for a moment, before dragging out her small notebook and starting to take notes on this form, hastily scribbling down her notes.
‘Oi! Furball number two! You going to help him or what? Mr. Creepy Otherworldly Dragon Guy would like your help in subduing the traitor!’
‘Also, if I may, Miss Crystal, I do not believe this is the wisest course of actions, considering that this near deity is under the ownership of the enemy.’
“Both of you, quiet! I’m taking notes on a creature that hasn’t been seen in this form in ages! In fact…” She would recall three of her Pokémon, leaving only Demon Wing to facepalm after she returned to her note taking. At least until the Ralts’ Hyper Voice. Her notebook and pen would immediately drop, the hybrid pulling down on her ears as the best way to cover them. “Sun scorch you, I’m going to have a headache for the next week!” Yeah, having large Espeon ears wasn’t helping Crystal any here… Demon Wing, on his end, would cover the approximate area where his ears were and leer at the little psychic fairy, more annoyed than anything else.
"Maybe take notes later!?" Amaranth spoke up when she saw Crystal whip out a notebook. "Now's kinda not the time to stare at something that'll do a lot worse than those other two Pokemon would!" She'd end up having to clasp her hands over her ears soon after the Hyper Voice rang, nevermind the earlier cacophony from the so-called "boomscreen."
Though she would easily hear Zera earlier, she chose to ignore it. Whatever bygone era she was talking about, she didn't know much of it. They had more pressing matters anyway.
Leslie would be stuck as the entire cavern devolved into chaos and a burst of energy, the vines stringing her to the roof coming free with this final impact. Yelping as she was sent flying, the Mawile hybrid would crash and skid to a halt with a groan. Taking a moment to unstrap Willow from her back and sitting for a moment to recover from her newest head trauma, there came a shrill cry. Said cry was about the volume of a rock concert in her ears as she had skidded next to its source. Looking at Willow and gesturing to Rala as she covered her ears, the Bulbasaur would have some form of understanding as she released a burst of Sleep Powder next to Terashi and Rala. She didn't need them trying to kill them with friendly fire.
Beau would be stunned at the emergence of Lysander, followed swiftly by doing his best to remain grounded even as he tazed and then the wave of energy washed over him, Sub, and Darts. "Yep, we time traveled. Cause we are getting schooled by Flare, again." Beau muttered, watching as the legendary Pokemon almost seemed to bow to Lysander and his ranting. Great, their pet Legendary was now going turncoat and who knows what comes next. Figuring now was his moment, Beau dove towards where Darts was currently handling Aile before doing his best to grab the woman's legs since the other hybrid had her arms. "Welp, looks like I get to ask those stupid questions again." Beau grumbled, doing his best to get him and Darts moving out of here with their prisoner.
Aria would simply observe the chaos of the area and the amount of people able to take care of things. She did not need to be here to aid in any of this. In fact, she appeared to mainly be in the way now. Quietly grabbing onto her Carbink, she whispered, "Magnet Rise." Soon enough, the pair would be silently slipping into the air while the others did more attention-grabbing acts. Somebody had to make sure they lived and it might as well be her.
Reno would nod at the Masked Roayl before replying to the showy man, "I don't think it counts as a defeat when its closer to divine intervention that causes it to happen." Quietly returning his two Pokemon that had been out, Reno would turn to face Lysander as the man continued to talk to the Zygarde. Maybe it was time for him to counter with his own monologue. But how would he get out if things went south? Glancing around the area, he soon found a strange yellow and brown shape waving at him wildly. Okay, Kaiden had managed to find his way here after his small sugar rush from malasadas. Good. Stretching out before putting Wikstrom's helmet under his real arm and making sure the arm he stole from the Castle was on full display, Reno marched forward. "Zac is not a tool to use for your petty obsession with beauty and he is not some correcting tool to abuse to fit things to your view. Of course, I doubt that you could truly do anything yourself without someone doing the actual work for you.After all, you only control the country because of our actions and you should remember that." Extending his left arm, Reno would pop the helmet into the air and catch in the robotic hand. "Zac, you don't need to listen to this blowhard. Just leave before they can grab you. I'll make sure they don't lay a hand on you." He gave the Legendary Pokemon a smile as he tried to give a small psychic nudge to the core he knew contained Zac, trying to stir the personality into dominance. Not waiting to see the response, Reno would pop the helmet onto his head before uttering, "Now then, you want something to correct the Earth? My name is Reno Vantas, and I'm here to correct you running Kalos." Reno waited for the inevitable charge by Flare and their Pokemon, prepared to halt it by whatever means necessary.
As Odd was attacking the Totems, he noticed the incoming attacks aimed to help and so, stepped back to avoid them. With the amount of damage incoming, he turned back towards the Ciphers and the Flare grunts. "Replay! A'Capella!" He called as he released the Chatot and Liepard respectively. "Replay, Boomburst! A'Capella, Assist." That second call was most definitely a roll of the dice, he knew. But if he got lucky, he just might be able to dole out some serious damage with this combo. "Cover your years!" He yelled to the Snagems as his Pokemon went on the offensive.
At that moment, however, was when Lynsadre showed his face. Zygarde was targeted by the man, of course, and Odd knew it. "Hold!" He shouted to his Pokemon only seconds before their attacks began. A'capella, however, would refuse to listen thanks to her Shadow Virus and followed through with Assist. She would not, however, get lucky and borrowed Treble's Minimize. This, in effect, turned her into a kitten-sized Liepard mewling "ferociously" at her surroundings. Odd snickered slightly, despite the gravity of the situation he found himself in and attempted to recall her. Her new size, however, made it easy for her to dodge the Pokeball's beam and turn to hiss at her trainer. "Fine! Stay out and be cute!" He warned her, turning back to the battle at hand. What else could be done here?
Lykas had recalled Lux after his attack earlier and, now that his own attack was over, he took note of the goings on. Lysandre was here all of a sudden. When had he even showed up?! "Mykel!" He called out, releasing the Gardevoir. And that was when Lysandre did something to Zygarde. It glowed for a moment and then it was encased in that familiar rainbow aura though it never crystallized. Was it Mega Evolving?! Could it do that?! And then the aura dissolve, visibly. Before him now stood a tiny man with an absolutely gargantuan humanoid creature behind him. "Is that...." The Pokemon's raw power swept over him now, only a moment after it's change was completed. "Unreal...." How could one creature contain so much unbridled power? This was on a level unlike any he had ever seen before. Could anything stand up to this beast, if it so chose to unleash it's awesome might upon it?
"Boss....I think we might be in trouble......" Mykel squeaked out with even his mental voice suppressed by this thing.
"No time to be afraid...." Lykas assured the Gardevoir, holding up the charm normally attached to his belt in his left hand. "I need you to Mega and use Moonblast!" He urged the psychic Fairy. Laying his index and middle fingers on the Keystone, ribbons of rainbow light arced out from it. The Belt Mykel wore to match followed suit, the same ribbons lancing towards Lykas and his keystone. When they met, though, neither expected the reaction. The ribbons touched and, rather than bonding, they sparked violently before shredding, the attempt at Mega Evolution failing.
"What the hell, Mykel?!" Lykas demanded to know. "I need you here!"
"What's the point?" Mykel asked, sounding utterly defeated. "Nothing I can do, Mega Evolved or not, will make a dent in it. It's just that powerful."
"Whether you can or can't, I need you to be willing to try. Otherwise we're all dead." Lykas replied, trying his best to give Mykel the motivation to follow through.
Mykel shook his head. "Sorry, boss but you're my top priority."
And with that statement, Mykel vanished, taking Lykas with him via Teleport.
When Lysandre pushed Zygarde into it's complete form, Odd felt the power rush over him as well, utterly awed beyond words at the attack. His hand gripped Entr'Acte's handle in an effort to contain the fear that suddenly shot through his body in the presence of this god-like entity.
"The Great Wyrm will rear it's head and in the wake of it's ancient slumber, the world will tremble. Man will walk beside the Wyrm and beneath their feet the Earth shall be formed anew."
Odd quoted from his spiritual mentor. "I always thought Father Clarence was crazy believing in those ancient legends...." He said to himself, shaking his head violently. There was more to that legend, wasn't there?! There had to be! Father Clarence had always said the legend had two endings but no one knew which was the right one anymore. What were they?!
"Paaaaaaard?" A'Capella purred, nuzzling her trainer's leg in an effort to comfort him. "A'Capella?" All of a sudden, the channeler was snapped out of his fear-induced reverie. He could sense it immediately, now that he was actually trying to. A'Capella was cleansed. She wasn't infected anymore! And neither was Entr'Acte, now that he was paying attention. "How?! What?!" He'd worry about that later, recalling both of them as well as Replay for the moment.
With the chaos mostly settled, he took a moment to look around. Zera and Kess were gone now. The Flare grunts had all been either knocked out or sent running. Darts and Beau had Aile, quite literally, by the head. Everyone was focused on Lysandre and Zygarde, it seemed, except for the two of them. "We......ungh..." He hated to say this but he had little choice. Did anyone have anything even remotely close to this beast in power? Zygarde's energy was so far off the charts, he was almost afraid to try and sense just how deep the well of it's power went. "We have to leave!" He screamed to his friends and allies, releasing Treble from his ball as he did. "Up!" He ordered as the Drifblim wound it's ribbons around him. And with that, the two ascended out of the cave as quickly as they were able. Which turned out to be surprisingly fast for a sentient hot air balloon.
"You left Odd and the others behind?!" Lykas screamed in Hau'oli city. "You took me out and just left them?!"
"They all have their own ways out. In fact, I can sense that Odd's already escaped from here." Mykel responded, refusing to back down at this point.
"That's not the point! They need our help! Take me back!" Lykas demanded.
"Absolutely not. We're not strong enough to fight it and if the others are smart, they'll run, too." Mykel replied, crossing his arms and refusing to move. "If you, or the others for that matter, expect to fight that thing, we have to make it think we're too scared or weak to fight it. It has to lower it's guard so we can make a single coordinated attack against it. That's the only way we're going to hurt it."
"You're kidding, right? You couldn't have just told the others that while we were there?" Lykas demanded, still furious.
"I would have already but you've been too busy being mad at me for doing my job and keeping you safe to let me try and keep them safe too." Mykel snapped back.
Lykas paused at that point, actually realizing Mykel made a good point. He'd been doing nothing but yelling at the Gardevoir for the last several minutes, after all. "Sorry."
"Thank you." Mykel said as he uncrossed his arms and began to focus on the other Snagems.
Mykel's Message
"Anyone who hasn't already fled, you need to run! Zygarde is too powerful to fight right now! We need to attack it all at once when it doesn't expect it. Lykas and I are in Hau'oli city now. Meet up with us and we can come back for a coordinated assault!"
As the snow storm engulfs the offending Zygarde, much to my Pokemon's and my own horror, the Legendary Pokemon breaks out, now revealing yet another, much more intimidating form. Froslass's jaw virtually drops, Psy takes a few steps back in sheer disbelief, and I stand...virtually in shock for the moment. "...that's not supposed to happen." I said. How in the hell did that thing not only shake off such an attack, something that shouldn't be kosher to it by any means, but ascend to even a higher level than before. Granted, it still pales to things I've sensed before, but even so...this thing reached a level of power that I really don't want to stick around for.
I then took notice to Lysandre close by, accompanied by his insect like devices. "Ok, of all the bastards to show up out of Flare, he'd be the last one that I'd expect. Wait, is that thing following his command!? How!?" Was that device what's controlling Zygarde? That doesn't even seem possible. Something of that magnitude for that matter. It goes beyond reason.
"Blizz..."
I looked back, seeing Tristen approaching me. "Tristen, are you-holy freakin' hell!" I said, taking note to the arrow still stuck in him from Zygarde's earlier attack. "Blast it, why now?" There were too many elements in play here for my liking. I was tempted to make a quick pot-shot on Lysandre while he was still around; I did have a clear shot. But then that bears the question of his control over Zygarde in this...titanic form of sorts. What kind of retaliation would we get?
I then perked up, taking notice to Darts. It then just occurred to me that Tristen and I never had the chance to spill everything to everyone back at the headquarters. But then that did raise some sort of issue...did Aile let in on where the Snagems are at by now? He found out about the cafe in Lumiose; who is to say he hasn't the headquarters by now. For that matter, if that was the case, what's stopping Lysandre from coming after us now? I suppose either way...Aile is a non-issue at this point. "Darts, she's not important! Drop her and go! I'll explain later! We got to bail out! Now!" I shouted, taking out a Pokeball and recalling Froslass. "You too." I then told Tristen.
"Huh?"
"Psy! We're bailing out!" I said, picking the boy up and carrying him off with Psy tailing right behind me.
"I...think it's time to get out of here," Isaac mummered as he witnessed Zygarde's transformation. Swiftly recalling all of his Pokemon, he reached for a fifth, when his ears began to bleed under the piercing assault of a rogue Hyper Voice. Grasping at his ears, Isaac winced at the pain for what seemed to be hours, although it was only a few seconds albeit very painful seconds. "Mwap," he stammered out as he picked himself off the ground, which he didn't remember collapsing onto, "Mwap. Mwap." Shakily clambering to his feet, Isaac opened the fifth pokeball, and collapsing onto the emerging Noivern. "Go. Go!" he called out, grasping onto the bat Pokemon as firmly as his hands allowed, before Konrad whisked him away into the Alolan Sky.
Lysandre would give Reno just the faintest of glances, the man turning his back on the Psychic Channeler as he began to approach Zygarde. "You must not fight too often with one enemy, or you will teach him all your art of war." The man in red said as he looked back at Reno just once more before returning to his casual walk towards Zygarde. "I don't hate any of you, a true man hates no one. Nor do I hold anything against the ideal world you strive towards. However, I shall never forsake my own ideal world, a world of true beauty." He said, placing a hand on Zygarde's legs, looking up at the creature with a look of awe. 'Zac' would not respond to Reno in the slightest.
"Believe me, Kalos has more need of me than I have need of Kalos. What I, what Zygarde, is doing and will do is for the good of Kalos...nay, the world. All of you will see, least those of you who can accept our righteous cause, the plight of the noble." He said, smiling. "Zygarde, let us go, we have much to do. But before we do please show them the error in standing in the way of progress."
Zygarde would respond to Lysandre's command without delaying, knowing just what he meant. The humanoid reptile would point an open hand at Reno palm first and begin to rapidly charge up an orb of energy in it, the orb growing bigger and bigger by the second. Right before the orb would explode into a rather modest beam of energy Sub would appear behind Reno and hug him from behind. "This is going to hurt!" He warned the man as he Griswold rose up from his shadow and 'swallowed' them both, snatching them away into the darkness right before the beam seared the ground where they took, a deep cut made into the ground which instantly began to grow grass. Seconds after the beam disappeared into the ground the Earth shook violently once again for a brief moment. That a small beam of energy could create an earthquake was a testament to Zygarde's power, let alone the fact that it seemed to vaporize the rock and soil from where it hit, not even dust was left behind.
"They'll understand one day, Zygarde...one day..." Lysandre reassured the Order Pokemon, the reptilian creature giving off a faint glow as the two began to merge with the Earth below them, soon enough the both of them disappearing into the ground below. The hybrids of the group would take note of the complete disappearance of Zygarde's powerful energy, they were gone.
"Trying to get yourself killed!?" Sub shouted at Reno as Griswold spit them out behind Blizzard, the ghost having reappeared from his shadow. "Monologues stay in films, not when you're standing in front of the dictator of one of the most powerful regions in the world while said dictator has control of the mediator of life and death!" He continued to scold Reno who was probably very sick or in pain after having been forced through 'dimensions' via Dark Channeling.
