Physical Description:
With short, unruly brown hair and bright blue eyes, an unimpressive height of 5'6", and an average physique, there's nothing really objectionable about his appearance, but nothing all that remarkable either...until he smiles and turns on the charm. Then he's somehow handsome, at least to folks who are susceptible to that.
Personality:
Firstly, B'ram is charming. It's no accident, either! It's a trait he's done his best to cultivate, as there's little he likes more than to make friends. He'll go out of his way to help or be kind to someone, always hoping to gain himself a new friend (maybe a little more, he will happily flirt with anyone and everyone). As a result, he has a good-sized circle of casual friends and pleasant acquaintances, although he's short on real, close friends. Those he does become close to, he also becomes extremely loyal to; right or wrong, he will defend them.
While he flirts readily with anyone, it's not all just a game to B'ram, who genuinely cares for everyone he's had time to get to know, and has a way of finding traits to appreciate in every individual. He becomes attached very quickly, and should they want one (or not), someone in need will always have a ready supporter in B'ram. It's quite possible he could become too attached for the taste of some, as he really doesn't understand the concept of no strings attached - he's not outright clingy, but he does prefer ongoing relationships, even just friendly ones. If he ever found the right one(s), this bluerider would be happy to have a weyrmate and give up chasing others (although Nachith will never stop chasing other dragons), but he would likely continue to flirt out of habit.
B'ram is a rather sensitive individual, and takes criticism and rejection very personally and seriously. As social as he is, it's hard for him when someone doesn't like or is mean to him. It can set him moping for days, if it's bad enough. This makes him susceptible to bullying, harsh criticism, and other such things. Aggressive or confrontational people are a huge issue for him, as he would prefer to deflect or avoid them than push back. He needs people, thriving on positive attention and wilting without it, and is someone who has a lot of trouble being alone for any length of time.
He doesn't cope well with stress or strife, and if it gets to be too much, he can become sullen and withdrawn, profoundly affected by the moods and climate around him. He will, to the extent that he can, stick his head in the sand and waiting for the storm to pass. In bad situations that affect him more directly/immediately, he tends to freak out until someone can settle him and tell him what to do. If it's something he's been prepared for, like fighting Thread, he'll probably be okay...unless things go horribly wrong in a way they haven't practiced for. No matter the amount of drilling they do, however, fighting Thread is still extremely stressful for him. He can usually keep it together long enough to make it through a Fall, but may fall apart afterward in private.

History:
B'ram is a weyrbrat, and has lived a life typical of one. His mother worked (and still does) in the Weyr's kitchens, and claims that his father is a brownrider; as she has always declined to reveal which, however, it remains an unsubstantiated claim. From his childhood right through to being a dragonrider, he's been very agreeable, able and willing to get along with almost everyone - his problems lie with mean or very argumentative/confrontational people, as he's a sensitive soul who doesn't do well with those types. He'll avoid them when possible, and tolerate them with no small amount of misery if he absolutely has to. As he tends to deflect rather than protest, his dragon sometimes does the objecting for him.
He wanted to be a rider from an early age, very much enamored of the idea of having that lifelong, understanding companion...and of being a dashing dragonrider! That didn't hurt, either. He made no other plans, simply hoping that he would Impress. And he did! Belram Impressed Nachith and became B'ram at the age of 17, as the blue ran from a scolding green clutchmate. While some at High Reaches might regard Impressing a chromatic with disappointment or even pity, B'ram is perfectly content as a bluerider. He gets all the best perks of being a dragonrider (see being dashing) with no significant responsibilities or pressures attached. From Weyrlinghood through to wingriding, their performance was mostly average, as long as Nachith was paying attention and not flirting with every green in sight. Unlike many others at the Weyr, however, B'ram never genuinely believed Thread would return, and after a couple of Turns of wingriding he and Nachith decided to leave High Reaches and see what they could see. They soon fell in with a small, ever-changing group of other roving, carefree dragons and riders, living off the land in warmer climates and doing nothing particularly productive or industrious.
...until Thread finally did return and ruined everyone's fun. B'ram and Nachith briefly considered continuing to lark about wherever they liked, but while they might not care for responsibility, they're not irresponsible, and knew they had a duty to take up, so they returned to High Reaches. Unfortunately, some things are easier said than done, and actually fighting Thread is a lot harder than practicing for it was. It's already taking a toll on B'ram, who's always had a difficult time dealing stressful situations, nevermind life or death situations. In recent months, he's developed a problem with anxiety attacks. At this time, they don't often happen in the moment during Threadfall; rather, they tend to strike at random, with no discernible trigger, but it's almost certain to get worse and highly likely to become a liability. |

Physical Description:
Nachith is the very picture of what a blue is supposed to be, lithe and agile with every feature in its expected proportion to the rest of him. With his fancifully-marked hide, he's a rather fetching specimen, in his not-so-humble opinion. He is missing his right eye, thanks to Thread, and now his left foreleg as well.
Personality:
This blue is a peculiar breed of womanizer. Why? He sincerely cares about the female he's trying to charm. At first. Paying attention in all walks of life will be a chore for Nachith. His rider best be ready for some trouble ahead in Weyrling lessons, because no matter how many times he's told to focus, it's not going to happen. Likewise, he'll get bored of whatever green he sets his sights on in time and become infatuiated with another shortly there after. He's convinced all of them should welcome his advances. It's not as if they'll do any better.
Nachith knows his place and he expects everyone to know theirs. A bronze chasing a green is ridiculous. A green expecting to be chased by one even more so. He is more than happy to listen to the higher ups, so long as they're gold or bronze. Unsure of where to categorize them, Nachith has an aversion to browns. They don't belong with him and the greens, and they don't belong with the metals, so where do they go? Everything must have a place and duty in Nachith's world or he doesn't consider it important. Sentimental value? That's not really worth anything, so forget about it.
Hopefully, he'll never end up with a brown wingleader, or there's going to be more grief for his rider. Assuming he's put under the command of a bronze intimidating enough to make him listen, Nachith will follow orders well. Only if he really, truly knows he's right will he question his leader's motives or ideas. If he thinks something is wrong, His should know it's worth looking into. His rider could tell you he's surprisingly level headed when it comes to matters not involving the heart.
He always has a favorite, but he will gladly participate in any green flight. It's all in good fun. Only if the dragon rising is his current heart's desire will he take it seriously. Otherwise, win or lose, he'll be just fine.
Why Me?: Isn't it obvious? Belram has a good heart, strong loyalty and knows how to treat a lady right. Nachith wouldn't pick anyone but another smoooooth guy as his partner in crime. They can also whine to each other when they get rejected! Hurray!
...Wait.
