╔═══════════════════ Gin had never met Gia’s sister and he was glad that he hadn’t – she was a piece of work. Scowling at the woman, he could tell that she wasn’t a good person. The way she carried herself, the way she spoke, the way she seemed to look down her nose at Gia…He hated it all. How the hell could two people be related and yet be so opposite? Gia was amazing, one of the best people he’d ever met. It didn’t take him long to figure out that Lyra was the worst kind of person – she was a user.
Gin had to bite his tongue several times to prevent himself from making some smart-a** comment toward the woman. He loved Gia and he wouldn’t tolerate her being talked to like Lyra was talking ot her. But he knew that Gia could fight her own battles. In any case, Gia was soon dismissing him, wanting him away from the woman. He suspected that she sensed his ire towards her and didn’t want him saying or doing something in her defense.
Sighing, he gave Gia a small nod before shooting Lyra a scowl and a heated glare. There was no doubt in his mind that this woman was the cause for Gia’s tears. “I’ll see you around, G…” He would have said more, but he had the feeling that anything he said or did, Lyra would try to use against her sister. Shuffling past the woman, he exited the classroom, his mood far fouler than it’d been this morning.

"Give service, Help the Innocent, Save the lives of friend and foe"
Griselda can only hope that today will be a better day than yesterday. It ought to be better since she gets to go to combat class, and she knows combat better than any of her other skills, although writing comes a close second. As per usual, she got up early to bath herself, get dressed, tied her hair into a pony tail and eat a light breakfast before taking her sword and shield with her as she left the dorm room to go to the advanced combat classroom. Today is not as cold as it had been the past few days, but she still put on just enough clothes to protect her and allow her perform the best she can. Upon arriving at the classroom, she sat down at a nearby desk and set down her sword and shield. All she can do for now is wait for the professor to arrive, but she also can not help wondering what she has in store for the class today.

The break ended too soon in Julia's opinion. She had a lot of fun at the festival gleefully dragging around Kayl and Azura to try out the various attractions, and after that she spent most of her time relaxing and having fun outside. She almost didn't want to go back to class but she still did so, not without some grumbling though (and wouldn't Marisenn be proud, she did that on her own). At least she had combat today, and Julia always enjoyed combat classes.
She entered the class with a wave and a cheerful hello, hopping up on table as she waited for Professor Falkov and the other students to arrive. Griselda and Cathy were already there, along with a girl Julia had never seen before; maybe she missed her introduction. "Are you a first year or something?" she asked rather bluntly as she tilted her head curiously, not realising how rude she might sound. "Haven't seen you around before." She wondered about the girl's extensive scars, but she knew not to ask about that, not yet at least.

╔═══════════════════ Yawning deeply, his fangs flashing a bit, Gin walked into the Advanced Combat Class. He wasn’t early, but it seemed that Gia hadn’t arrived yet, so he wasn’t late either. Stretching out his muscles, his tired eyes moved through the class. But as his gaze shifted, his ears caught a voice that he didn’t recognize. Gaze narrowing, he caught sight of a female, one that didnt belong in their class. Her dialect was…odd. Flopping down in a seat, he kept his narrowed gaze on the female as Catherine, Griselda and Juliana spoke with her. Juliana, almost as blunt as him, outright asked the girl if she was a first year. This peeked Gin’s interest. While it wasn’t unheard of for a first year to get into the class – Sokea being the prime example – the exceptions were few and far between…So how the hell had this girl gotten into the class without getting it approved by Gia?
Arising from his seat, Gin rose to his full height. Approaching the little gathering of females, his gaze locked onto the newest female, who bore scars that alluded to a battle fought and won – the victory being survival. Crossing his arms over his chest, he growled lightly. “You’re not supposed to be here.” He stated bluntly. He knew it for a fact. This girl was nervous, unsure of herself. Her body language gave her away. Not only that, Gaia would have told him if they had a new student. He was contemplating going for the master’s program when he graduated at the end of the semester and as such, Gia had talked about preparing him to be her Teacher’s Assistant. Ven had also mentioned that he wouldn’t mind a TA, but Gin had yet to decide which of his favorite professors he’d rather work under.
In any case, Gia hadn’t mentioned taking on a new student for the new semester, so that told him one thing. The female was in the wrong class. That, or she’d blatantly thought she could crash the Advanced Combat Class without being qualified to be a student. This class wasn’t for just anyone. You had to be proficient in combat to be here. You had to earn a place in this class…Anyone who waltzed in here thinking they could just join was showing disrespect and he couldn’t tolerate that.
“You need to leave. If you don’t, I’ll show you the door myself. Or better yet, hang out..." He said, an evil glint coming into his gaze. "I’m sure Gia will enjoy making an example of you. She wouldn’t want other students thinking they can just come in here…” He said with a wolfish smirk, his fangs prominent. He’d rather enjoy watching Gia taking on another amateur – it was always highly entertaining. Hopefully their Professor would arrive soon...

Another female entered just after she had, Vana looking around at her with a rather sheepish expression. This female wore her hair down long and seemed to find her appearance in the room somewhat insulting by her tone. The burnt girl would offer a small wave in response, hoping to find the words to reply to her while keeping herself in check. ”Y-Yeah. Ah’m still kinda new ‘round here. Sorry, ah, that we ain’t met yet.” She apologized to the girl before the princess spoke up again, peaking her interest. Come to think of it, she did seem pretty familiar. Kissa spoke of her a little bit, though Vana was still a bit skittish about Valor. Ever since that attack on her home that fateful day, she was always careful around those kinds of students. Her right arm shot to her left, rubbing the bits of scar tissue in embarrassment. Sofar the princess appeared like much better company than the female who had just entered. Even her friend greeted Vana with a smile and a voice as confident as her own. ”Mm. Kissa an’ me sorta went ta the festival together. Nice, er, meetin’ ya an’ yer friend m’self.” She replied, giving the two a kind smile before a heavy presence made itself known in the room.
Before Vana could even look around, a boy with dark skin and white eyes and furry ears made his way over to her with an expression that showed he was not the most thrilled to see her in the classroom. ”B-Bwah?” Vana said as he let her know that she was not supposed to be present in the room for an unspecified reason. The boy didn’t even introduce himself to her, continuing to flash an evil grin at her as she took a step back in fear. Definitely somebody she did not want to mess with. He continued on with threats about some person named Gia she had not met yet. During this whole ordeal, Vana would have continued to back away, appearing ready to cry as the boy finished with his words for the time being. ”Uh-Uhm...Ah-Ah-Ah’m sorry. Ah d-didn’t know that...Please d-don’t hurt me.” She said before wincing I fear, anticipating a punch or blow that would never come. Behind her, the phantasmal blade that was a manifestation of her spirit would appear beyond her control. ”K-Kissa...” She sniffled some while holding back tears, keeping her head down before another pair of feet came into the class room.
The teacher had arrived, much to Vana's dismay. She continued to whimper to herself and take steps away from the shifter boy as the woman known as Gia spoke to the both of them, obviously on his side. She explained how things were going to go down, at least from a first glance. If what he said was true, the teacher would use her as target practice for her lesson, or worse! ”Ah....th-thought this was beginnin' combat class...Sorry, me-miss. Please don't h-hurt me...” Vana managed to speak after a while, rubbing her eyes of any tears that might have leaked out, refusing to look any of the people in the classroom in the face out of shame.

"Give service, Help the Innocent, Save the lives of friend and foe"
Griselda had continued to keep to herself, only waving back at the girl named Vana when she was being acknowledged along with Catherine. It should not be much longer before their professor arrived and class would begin. Then another student came in and that is when things started to go awry. The boy Gin has always proven that he can be abrasive toward other people upon meeting them. Vana is no exception to this rule. Griselda can only hope that he will not push her too far. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Professor Falkov arrived shortly after Gin did and is seemingly trying to mend the predicament that Gin placed Vana in, but it was already too late. The poor frightened girl feels as if she is being pushed into a corner and...is that a sword materializing behind her? That is a power Griselda has not come across until now. If left unchecked, it can pose serious danger toward everyone in this classroom. This shy redheaded could not stand by and let this girl feel scared any longer. She stood up from her table, placed her sword and shield on her back and approached Vana as non-threatening as she can. Then Griselda said to her,
"I-Its okay. None of us are going to hurt you. We all make mistakes like this from time to time. I will take you to the beginner's combat class personally. J-Just calm down...pull yourself together...and don't worry. If anyone dares to bring harm to you, they will have to go through me first."

It turned that Cathy did recognise the girl, apparently with Kissa? Did the girl come to visit or something? It wouldn't be the first time, Azura turned up once and while Julia was curious, it wasn't enough that she wanted to ask. She would've just shrugged and moved on to entertaining herself with some bones until Porfessor Falkov arrived, but Gin entered, and quickly told the new girl to leave.
Normally, Julia was perfectly fine with letting her classmates do whatever they wanted and she didn't really mind Gin, even though he was far too prickly and moody for her tastes. But seeing him threaten the new girl and leaving her crying, Julia hopped off her desk. "Hey, that was uncalled for," called out, scowling up at Gin rather fearlessly. "She might've been lost or something." He might be older and a better fighter, but even she knew that it wasn't right.
Feeling irritated now, she turned back towards the scarred girl, her eyes widening at the sight of a sword materializing behind her. She'd never seen that before, but she spent enough time with Azura to recognise how his raiment worked and that this girl had something similar. And she knew that they did not want that to blow up. Thankfully, Professor Falkov arrived then, but rather than calming her down, the girl became even more agitated. Julia bit her lip anxiously, not knowing what to do.
Griselda seemed to have the right idea and tried to calm her down and offered to escort the girl to her actual class, and while Julia didn't approach the girl, she tried to pitch in. "Yeah, it's okay, these things happen," she tried to smile reassuringly, but the girl was looking down at her feet instead, crying.

Weather and net connection in my laptop are not on my side recently and I had to compensate using mobile right now. Sorry.
Well, so much for that pleasantries because of Gin calling Vana out with rage, and it may end up growing worse if it wasn't because of Gia showing up. Not to mention that the Tadfaer was actually at the WRONG combat class and she had to apologize. Sighing softly due to disappointment rather than rage, she then stood up. "Do you know the way back to the Beginners Combat classroom? If not, we can help you out on that one. It's actually not that far as long as you go to the opposite end of the arena. That's where that classroom is located, at least based on my knowledge."
After all, she had been at the arena during training sessions with Griselda most of the time. Though in actuality, she had taken a peek at that classroom only once.

╔═══════════════════ Gin didn’t say a word or move a muscle when he heard Gia come into the class. From the looks he was getting from his classmates, he knew they all thought he was the biggest a*****e alive. Funny how people just assumed he was going to harm the girl. Had he made a move toward her? No. Had he laid one finger on her? Nope. Yet, it only took a moment for the girl’s eyes to fill with tears. ‘Just call me the ‘Big Bad Wolf’, sweetheart.’ He thought as Gia hung off his shoulder and addressed the girl.
Huffing a bit, he glanced away from her. Yeah, he was a jerk. Could he have been less blunt? Sure. Could he had told her she was in the wrong class and asked her leave? Maybe. Did he? Nope, wasn’t his style. He was a direct, blunt a*****e that gave it to you straight. You don't like it? Too bad. He’d merely told the girl what the others had been thinking – ‘you’re in the wrong place, you’re not supposed to be here’, and yet, he was the bad guy.
Gia, ever the understanding sweetheart that she was, explained to the girl that she was in the wrong class but that they’d be happy to direct her to the Beginners Combat class. Gia’s words and tone didn’t seem to do much to reassure the girl. And when she summoned a Soul Weapon, Gin literally put up his hands and took a few steps back, taking Gia with him for good measure - Ven would not be happy if Gia got hurt.
The females in the class, ever the mother hens, did their best to sooth the girl and reassure her that all was well. As one of the few men in the room, and the cause of all the tears, sniffles and drama, he knew when he wasn’t wanted or needed. “You don’t need to apologize to me. But just know, that I’m an a*****e to everyone, its not just you. Ask anyone.” He said eyeing his classmates. Scowling a bit, he felt Gia rub his shoulder, as if reassuring him that she didn’t think he was an a*****e, but it didn’t do much to improve his foul mood. Not even the idea of cake made him smile.
Shrugging off Gia’s hold, Gin headed for the side door that led to the practice area. Looking back at Gia, he gestured to the girl that he’d made cry. “G, give her my piece of cake, as way of apology.” That was all he said before he stepped outside to stretch and warm up. It wasn’t much of an apology, but it was all she was going to get out of him, so she could take it, or leave it.
