Edalla knew her green was going to give it her all, she always did. As if to prove it, she felt as Moilath surged forward, thanks to a pocket of air. She noticed the three clumps of Thread and watched as her green got two of those three right off the bat. However, it seemed her beloved dragon was not done as she felt Moilath drop hard and watched her flame down the third.

See, I am still okay,Moilath thought, as way of letting her rider know she was still able to fight.

That was beautiful, Moilath. However, if it gets too much, I will have us go to the healers,Edalla instructed.

2) 11. The wind is rough, but you and your dragon are managing. You get a breather as your dragon flies into a small break of Threadfall. The upper altitudes must be doing a good job sweeping up!
3) 4. You're so focused on flaming Thread that you miss a clump of thread blows up on the wind -- beneath you! If a greeen, or blue, you manage to jump Between ahead of it. Thankfully, your smaller size means you're able to avoid getting harmed! [+1 Between Accuracy] If a brown or bronze, your heavier size does cause your tail to get caught! [+1 Between Accuracy & Minor Damage - 2 HP!]
4) 5. Wheeling, flaming, catching thermals, fighting wind.... Threadfall is nothing if not exhausting. Greens, and blues find themselves panting with exhaustion. This is more tiring than they thought. Trying to come up from a dive, they struggle on wing and wind up getting blown right into some thread. Ouch! Edalla felt her beloved was still determined to show that she could finish off their duty of the first two hours of Thread, before they got a bit of a break. She noticed the stream of Thread about the same time as her dragon, just out of the corner of their eyes. She felt as Moilath shifted and in a graceful move, make a turn and flame it down.

No one will be hurt because of that Thread, the green chirped brightly in her rider's mind. She wanted to make sure everyone was safe, though Edalla would know the green was worried after having been hit a few times already.

Edalla was trying to assure her dragon everything would be alright, knowing despite the green trying to reassure her, that she was worried. However, that assurance on both ends seemed to get knocked through a loop when a clump of Thread that had managed to slip past the upper wings, came their way. It latched onto her left leg and Moilath's side. She ordered them quickly Between, to kill it off. Once they came back, both were in more pain.

We are almost done for now, let's hold out a little longer,Moilath suggested, more worried of others getting hurt at the moment.

Has a damage and negative effect save!

N'den spotted the Thread falling, missed by the upper levels. Belengath twisted like an eel to flame it before it could pose a problem to a wingmate.

Hour 1; Round 4 (day 4) Rolls
1. Your dragon flames a small strand of thread, but unfortunately, a gust of wind blows the ash back into you. Your dragon hisses in pain, and if your face isn't protected, you might get a burn yourself! Thankfully, the burn isn't severe, and your dragon at least can carry on. [+1 Pain Resilience // -2 HP]
2. Are you feeling lucky? Well you should! Free reply! Respond to this post with any action pertaining to Threadfall, and gain a little luck. [+1 Luck]
3. Your dragon spots a few clumps of thread being blown about in front of them. If white, green, or blue, they manage to catch a pocket of air and surge forward, flaming down two of the three clumps, before dropping hard and getting the third. No thread's slipping through on your watch! [+3 Target Accuracy!] If brown or bronze, they don't need as much speed, and instead belch a long flame, catching all three with ease. +1 Target Accuracy, +2 Flame Length!]
4. By Faranth! You and your dragon pull off a pretty awesome move to catch some Thread that's fallen through. You're able to save one of your Wingmates! Quote one of your Wingmates who took damage this Round! This will remove damage and any possible negative effect from that roll!

I Need Some Firestone!

N'den reached in for another piece of firestone and came up with only a few crumbs to toss into his dragon's maw. Uh better call for more. I thought things were feeling light. The brown reached out to the weyrlings to request some new bags.

It wasn't long before another young brown appeared to deliver the requested firestone. N'den waited.... and waited. Confused he glanced at the weyrling and realized the young man was having trouble positioning himself for the throw. Wait for it, he warned the brown. When the weyrlings did throw, it was under. Belengath lunged forward so his rider could catch the precious firestone.

In doing so though, several strands of Thread land on Belengath's wings. The older brown roared in pain and popped Between to kill it off. I'm alright, he informed Ke'res and Rossoth. Back to the weyrling wing for you now. He gently shooed the pair back to their appropriate place after reassuring them.

5. You're low on firestone! If you've already replenished recently (within the last 5 posts) you may choose to skip this roll and just do a general post for no XP. OR you can keep it and blame it on a faulty bag, or some other excuse for being without stone. Call for one of the weyrlings to send you another sack of stone! [Flag down a weyrling! Post this code in your next post and see if a weyrling can get to you!

6-8. You fly up to the designated rider. Unfortunately, you just can't seem to position yourself where you're confident enough to throw the stone. Worse, there's Thread falling around you, far heavier than down in the weyrling wing, and you can feel yourself suddenly panicking, freezing up... When you do manage to throw the stone, you under throw, and the older rider and dragon have to scramble to catch it. They manage -- barely -- but in their haste to catch the stone, a few slivers of Thread catch the adult rider's wing instead. Quote the Rider In Need and have them take Moderate Damage: -3 HP

Rossoth answered the call. Ke'res readied her arm, trying to steady her breathing, but something... something niggled into her mind, making her worry, making her overly anxious...

Ke'res, you must pass them their firestone. Now! Rossoth seized onto her anxieties, shaking them and casting them away. Instinctively, the woman obeyed...

but she missed.

She gasped as she watched the other pair dive down, noticing at the last moment that she had put them in harm's way.

Belengath, I am so sorry! My rider did not mean to cause you any trouble... He darted backwards, hoping not to distract them further from their duty.

Astriana thought she was ready as the waves switched places and second wave joined their wings. She and Moratath had popped into the high altitude where their own wing had just shifted into. She had seen a clump of Thread right there withing reach, but just as she was about to instruct Moratath to flame it, the wind had other ideas. It took the clump out of their reach, so they had to work for it.

That clump will not get away from us,Moratath assured. The small blue did all he could to fight against the wind and attempted to get to the clump. However, his rider suggested they hop between and see if that could get them into position. He did so and reappeared at the coordinates Astri had given him. Unfortunately, they had reappeared away from it and he saw where the clump was headed.

"Oh no!"Astri gasped from the back of her blue, watching the clump land on one of their wingmates. Her heart sank hearing the screams of pain, before the pair popped between. She felt awful and knew despite his cold exterior, so did Moratath.

With determination, you fight the wind, trying valiantly to get to the great enemy! You hop Between, hoping to get closer, and flame the Threads that threaten to fall through! Roll a D4 to see if you successfully Between!
4- Failure! You overshoot, and miss your target completely. Instead, it falls on one of your fellow wingmates, and they scream in pain as they disappear to the sanctuary of Between.
