to me the meaning of life is to find happiness. we all try for people to like us so we can what? be happy. we want money so we can what? be happy. we like to be with our family so we can what? be happy. we would like to find our great love so we can what? be happy. all we do in life we do it to be happy. is just that happiness is different for some people.

the meaning of life eh?
well. i'm not sure how to put it but i think that for each person there is a different meaning... i dont know i guess that the only thing that we can do to find the meaning of our lives i to live them no matter what... i think thats the reason for living to find out what happens next.

I think the meaning of life is to just live...... I mean we were all apes at one point and we didn't have self conscience but we acted on instincts....... Now we are aware of ourselves and we have morals and all that but we started out like every other animal with our instincts. So i don't really think there is a reason why we are superior or anything we just got smart and evolved. This means that we live to live...... Makes sense.....Its our survival instincts that keep us alive everyday.......

The meaning of life IS trying to find the meaning of life, the meaning is different to everybody, so the answer is everything and nothing at the same time.
But there can be no possible answer, for if there were, it would be solving the entire universe and everything would become so monotonous, that it would implode in on itself and something even more complex would take it's place... And that has probably already happened many times over...

I think the meaning of life differsn greatly from one person to the next. Personally, I think the meaning of life is to be reknowned, famous, rich, and successful. Whilst still being generous, in love, desirable, and polite.
No matter who you ask, the true, default meaning of life, is to reproduce. To carry on the human race. It's the strongest feeling we have.

Life..is a series of dogs. You just keep getting a new one. That's what's great about dogs, they don't live too long and you can bring your ex-dog to a shop, throw 'im up on the counter and say 'Give us another one of them!' And if you search hard enough, you can find a carbon-copy of your old dog, which is really handy cause you don't have to change all of them pictures.
(Little bit of George Carlin humor on the subject ^.^)
The meaning of life is to reach enlightenment and purity. We don't see that because it interferes with our immediate wants and desires. That's just the way I see it.

(hypothetically) what if we were to spend our whole lifes searching for this meaning of life, then what would it do? what would us knowing this do? grant us entrance into "heaven" as it is called? We cannot be sure about this and even more is that what would happen if we DID have enough time in our life to conclusively find this meaning of life after we had done it what would we do next? some would simply kill themselves others would stay here on earth to think..."what am i going to do now?" (im done here ^-^)

I think that the meaning of life is whatever you make it out to be. People disagree on what the meaning of life is, and what they perceive life as tends to decide for them what its meaning is and if it's a positive, negative, or neutral thing. It depends on how you look at what you see. As for me, it's just living today, trying to see beauty in things, and trying to wake up.

the meaning of life... hmm. I guess only God knows. According to solomon in ecclesiastes, it's all vanity, and so he concludes that one should reverence God and enjoy life, work, and your spouse. mrgreen
