The man stumbled to regain his footing as he came to a stop where Garison had just been standing. Apparently he had different plans than actually harming the abbysal however, for his foot slowed just before contact, then visiously shoved Garison from his rooftop perch, sending him down the two stories to skid in the dirt and filth of the street, while the sounds of hoof beats could be heard from down way.
Even as the man stumbled, he was stepping to his left. Ashura had leaped some thirty yards into the air above him, hurling what appear to be rippling balls of air, that blew chunks of wood from the roof easily the size of a mans head. Even unbalanced though, despite near perfect aim, the man had already moved aside, deftly stepping backwards, away from her shots. Her face was a mask of rage, reflected in the hurricane red of her skin as she fell towards him, essence crackled in her palms as she let loose a bolt of lightning. Instinctivly, the man moved back, a faint green aura appearing around him, even as the bolt blew a hole in the roof several feet in front of him, through which Ashura fell, grinning. Cursing, the man dove through the whole after her.
((Garison takes 1 bashing from the fall, and Nix is now in his alleyway. Also, for dramatic effect, the roof is now on fire))

Garrison fell flat on his back, a cloud of dust flew up around him. He scooped up his scythe, let out a moan as he stood up and rubbed the back of his head.
He took a few lazy stepps forword and into the allyway, not noticeing what was in front of him.

Even as Nix brought himself to a stop at the nadir of his leap, his muscles readied themselves for another leap. With an exhale, Nix pushed himself back off the ground, this time toward the riders. As quickly as he sprang up, Nix now came down from his leap, bearing down upon the head of the rider's beast in an attempt to stop them in their tracks.
[OOC] So yeah, I'm pretty much jumping right back up and attempting to more or less kick the rider's animal on the top of it's head and force it down into the ground with reckless abandon, perhaps injuring or killing it in the process. Rolls yes no maybe? [/OOC]

(( the roll your own dice at home stuff really only applies if you have dice to roll, so if you can't there, then do it here ^_^ it's two rolls, first, is str+athletics, diff 2, and the second is dex+MA diff three, but as this is so cool, split action penalties shall not apply instead of me handing out stunt dice ^_^))

In the burning room (not that you actually know what's going on ^_^!)
Ashura dove forward into a roll as she landed, pride drawing a smirk across her face in lue of her successful ploy. But it was quickly erased as a dull thud sent her sprawling into the bed, and dropping to the floor. "You had to make this difficult." The man spat, irritation furrowing his brow. "I didn't actually want to hurt you, but you've left me no choice."
"One toy down. You still want to play?" she replied, drawing her blue jade reaper daiklave from under the bed as she rose. "Of cour....what?" He glanced out the window, the action astonishing her so much, that she didn't take the opportunity.
"No one saw a third... Curse it. That Goldling is behind this, I'm sure of it." Somthing akin to rage made itself known in his posture as the green aura around him crackled with energy. "I'm afraid you've a bit of a repreave. For your lack of martial skill, you actually show a good deal of promise. It was an honor to face you." With that he bowed, leaving Ashura dumbstruck as to how to respond. "It's not every day even one such as I faces such bueaty as well, especially clad in little more than a nightshirt."
Even as Ashura swung her blade, he turned in place and vanished from sight, her sword catching nothing.
She paused, trying to figure out what was happening, but the commotion outside drew her attention once more, and she ran back to the bed,the smoke billowing away from her in a super natural wind as she reached under it for her armor.

[OOC]Well, I suppose that's a good thing since I'm not exactly sure how split-action penalties work. I looked and looked, but to no avail. xd [/OOC]
First roll:
STR = 3 ATH = 4
Dice = 7 Successes = 2
[OOC] For the sake of ease, I'll repost the Difficulty and Successes in the next post as well. [/OOC]

Nix lept over the staggering form of Garison, executing a flawless flip with an extended leg build up the momentum needed to take down the horse. He struck the steed just at the base of the neck, and it floundered, tumbling to the dirt where upon it did not rise again. The rider however, lept clear at the last moment, drawing his blade even before he landed. The man wore white Jade plate mail, artfully made to look like natural cave formations without detracting from his mobility. The other 4 riders reigned in their horses and surrounded Nix, spears of jade leveling at him, about to strike, before two immaculate monks caught up, obviously having been slowed by the debris of the warriors. "Wait. Not that it is unlikely, but we must test the man first before we accidentally slay an innocent." The Dragon blooded looked to the man in plate mail before they relaxed, though only just, as the priest raised an amulet which hung around his neck.

((it ocured to me that a couple stats have some blatant effects on appearance and demeanor, so, I think it would prolly be helpful to immageing these chars if we were to post str, cha, and app scores.
Ashura is str 3, Cha 2, App 5))

His muscles still tightened, Nix was surrounded. As the monks came and said their part, he spoke. "So you destroy this city looking for people to kill? That is unacceptable. You'd better kill me quickly else you will be the ones dead. It is my duty to rid this world of those like you."
He flourished and put himself down into a stance, awaiting the horsemen's spears or the men's fists, as he tensed his leg muscles slightly, awaiting their strike to spring from his spot.
[OOC] In other words, I'm awaiting an attack to jump upwards, if I can do that in this game. If I can't, well, I suppose I'll just wait and see what happens. sweatdrop [/OOC]

((HaHA! Life has been defeated!))
((Yes, your idea is valid and cool. it's just multiple actions. first, you'll have to dodge any attacks that beat you in initiative, then leap on your turn. except you've readied the action so you'll be able to jump in the same action as your first dodge. Unless you've a charm activated, you can jump (str+athletics) in yards up, or twice that sideways. Also, +one dice to your dodge as a stunt bonus.))
The amulet glowed even as Nix spoke, and the Immaculate's face set itself in grim determination. "Of course it's your duty to kill those who bring order to the world, demon. It may be regretful that a few innocents have been returned to the cycle of reincarnation, but removing the likes of you from this mortal coil with all possible haste is more than justification. You shall not feast on any more innocent souls in this city, Anathema. Kill it." The last two words weren't even out of his mouth before the first spear was moving.
((Your dodge Defense Value is (Dex+dodge+any relavent dodge specialties+ permanent essence)/2. If his roll is higher, your hit. Normally, you can choose to parry instead if you want, but your jump pins you to dodge.))
((Damn that was a good strike roll.... 10 successes o hit.))
