Ashley wasn't too terribly surprised when Camila stole the ball from him. After all, he was certain that she was pretty good at her job as well. He looked over to Mira and noted where she was before swooping around to try and get it back. Seriously, Mira needed to step up. She was trying out, she needed to prove she could do it. Ashley was already guaranteed a spot, he didn't need to try out.

  Location: Pitch - Quidditch Try-outs Honestly Mira wished she was playing beater right now. That was where she belonged not chasing around for a ball. She really thought she could do it but it didn't seem promising. Maybe with more experience then again she had her luck last year perhaps this year was the one that would ruin her.
When the quaffle got stolen Ashley quickly stole it back. She felt like she was being completely useless... Following Ashley encase she was needed he tossed the ball her way. Catching it Mira headed off towards the goal posts hoping she'd be able to get there and score something.Status: I'm such a failure right now... And it's a hit! Yvonne felt as though she was off to a good start. Now, hopefully, she won't feel too overconfident and nail herself somehow: Can't get too cocky or it'll look bad.
Perhaps she'll look even better if she got off her butt and do beater-y things. Alright. Without further thought, she chased after the bludger and decided that her dear friend (Ashley) needed a beating for harassing her teammates.

Ashley smirked as he regained posession. Well, the kid was decent, could probably get better with time, but obviously that wasn't going to be today. He passed quickly to Mira, knowing the girl could use some practice and decided to swoop up a bit, away from the chaser action. He needed to observe them, after all.

Dmitri brought two fingers to his lips, pinched, and blew; a high pitched whistle echoed through the field and twisted in the winds. He waved to call all of the players to attention and brandished his wand to summon the balls into the wooden chest. He eased his broom down to the field, touched down and skidded to a halt while he waited for the rest of the players. With another wave of his wand, a pop of healing potions appeared in a neat row on the lid of the trunk. ”Rest up, we'll be up again soon in a few moments,” he explained with a short nod and strode to meet Yaxley. After several minutes of discussion, an agreement was decided upon and he rejoined the rest of the team.
”Listen up Slytherins, we just have a few changes. Yaxley will stay as the green team chaser, Stone, you'll be the keeper and Mitchell, you'll be the beater.
“For the silver team, Ryans will play keeper, Rojas, you will stay as chaser and, Moreau, you're the beater. Kenny, looks like you'll be chasing the snitch on your own again... I'll be watching and helping where I see fit.” A three man team was going to be difficult to work with, but their team had been through worse. "Now back into position." He ordered, eager to unleash the snitch and bludgers so the toss up for the quaffle can begin.

Modifiers: SAME AS ABOVE Keeper (Silver Team) Goals Blocked: XXXX Goals Let In: XXXXX --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just as Seymour had taken posession of the quaffle Dmitri had called a break and he was almost disappointed. Angry Mira was fun. Besides, if she was going to be hanging around Timothy all the time, she better learn to put up with Seymour. Or so he figured. Besides it was Seymour's duty as Timothy's friend to keep the girl on the straight and narrow-and if they were going to hook up-he totally needed her to know early on she wasn't going to mess with Timothy. Actually, between Timothy's sister and him and all of Timothy's sister's crazy friends she was sure Mira would be asking to be hexed if she ever did something to hurt Timothy. However, Seymour was more than happy when he landed to take a healing potion, and smiled as he listened. Well, Mira was back to being a beater, but Seymour got to be a keeper. It was a nice change. He was itching to get more into the one position that was mostly quiet with the occasional action when oposing chasers came up. That kind of position he figured suited his personality better. So taking to the sky, Seymour flew into position at the silver team's goal posts to protect them (or try to) from the Green team-specifically Yaxley. It was going to be just two chasers this time. That would be interesting. Translation: ... {OoC.}

Ah, com on, Yvonne was at her peak performance when the captain declared a rest period! No bludger had ever come close to hitting her, and she had already nailed that Gunilda booger. So, the Slytherin girl just hovered in the air, waiting for the tryouts to resume, perhaps stretching and rolling her wrists every once in awhile. She had to admit that gripping the broom and bat is taking a small toll on her joints. Perhaps it was time to invest in some form of better gloves.
Once the tryouts resumed, she immediately shot in the direction of a rogue bludger, and aimed at Ashley again: She'd feel bad if she aimed at an underclassmen straight off the bat. Ashley can deal with it.
