Firstly I know she'll lie about it, Sanzo-san. Secondly... it's hella hard for a child to tell their parents that they're doing something wrong. Thirdly, I'm not fully sure yet. I'm just guessing this because I've been seeing some casino transactions on my credit card that I'm letting my mom use to pay off an emergency car payment.
I know it was stupid to give her my card... but she's my mum.

You know hun, she may be your mom but that doesn't give her the right to use your credit card. I mean yeah you can help her with an emergency and stuff since she is your mom but I don't think handing over your credit card is necessary and if she IS using YOUR money to gamble then you do need to talk to her about that

I'll do that when I get the chance. I know it's necessary but one can't deny that it's hard to tell a parent that they're doing something wrong.
...especially when one was raised fairly traditionally like myself what with the parents always right and whatnot...
I'll get over it and muster some courage to talk to her though.

I don't think you should just come out and say "Mom you're doing something bad and need to stop" cause well... even I wouldn't do that sweatdrop probably more like "Mom I'm worried about you and that perhaps you're gambling when you shouldn't be." And you know go from there. Cause this is affecting you too

Mhm... I'll ask for my father's advice too. He usually kept the finances intact before he went to the Philippines to start a business there.

It might be of some help @Indigo, I have my fingers crossed, the thing that irks me the most is my DAD actually said I could go out on weekends but my mom just pretty much raised it to I can't go out at all, but I'm not gonna argue Now that's messed up.
