WELCOME one and all to the Role Play What You're Wearing Thread
To recap the story, for those who are just joining us, Falana (Kerrigan_dragon's character) Is a half Ghost, Half God. Child of Hermes the messenger, and temporary guide to the protection of the human realm. she has been sent to this timeline to guide others to protecting this and the Heavenly realms.
Tinantis is my own creation, he's been imprisoned for many years and just recently escaped from captivity and is still lost in the wilderness. He releases a mild airborne toxin that destroys everything given enough time. He has a multitude of Mental issues that have yet to surface.
Another of my creations is the currently unnamed Man questing for his former godly powers. His sword contained all those powers and when he reclaimed it large earthquakes shook the surrounding areas. Before he could invade the Heavenly Realm and overthrow the king, the shard broke into 6 pieces and were thrown the the wind. The Shard that fell closest to the Unnamed man AND Tinantis fell in the middle of a busy courtyard, in the same city where Falana was escorted.
The first shard has been picked up by Kaz Likes Cookies's unnamed Shapeshifting Cat. Since this is a new character I don't have any new information to give you We don't know her intentions or the extent of her powers.
Once the insanity field of the shard dissipated all the memories of the shard and its effects were forgotten. So everyone in the town is confused and scared. There are people evacuating the city, and small groups are even trying to rebuild and rescue people.
Aina (Elcia's character) Has also been pulled into this timeline, It seems this happens to her often. She seems to have abilities that stretch into the mystic and is able to commune with the Earth and it's forces. She was able to perceive and block out the mental effects of the Shard.
Zynar (0-0Roland Deschain0-0's Character) was also able to block out the Effects. He appears to be a government experiment. He's blind but compensates with his other senses, and has proficiency with many weapons.
We shall see how this story pans out and any newcomers are welcome to jump in at this (or any other) time and don't be too concerned about super powers, even the common (wo)man will have something to enjoy with what I have planned.
Now that we're all caught up, Lets see where we can go from here.

Falana got several feelings at once. The first was that she'd been wrong about who she was following. The second was that there was something terribly wrong going on right now. A sonic boom - a series of them, actually - a rumbling smash, an earth quake, an aura of pure chaos everywhere, people running in terror, or others stealing and ransacking. Falana followed her instincts and left the Cafe, going towards the center of the chaos. As she ran past people fleeing and fighting, suddenly the feeling of insanity dissipated, and Falana lost track of where she was going as she tried to evaluate what had just happened. She tripped on a piece of rubble she had tried to climb over, and fell. She noticed there was a man below her, and hoped he'd move out of the way in time.

"So much going on right now. Focus, Zynar. Look for the source of the problem."
Zynar was indeed a fascinating creature. He was completely human, born as a government research project. It was his life, he knew nothing else. Because of this, he didn't complain. He had no real special powers, other than being able to sense things. So much mental training had made him able to filter things out, so he was going through this right now. He wasn't able to see with his eyes, yet he still had a way of seeing. He could literally feel his surroundings without actually touching them, in a way.
Zynar shifted through the various filters in his mind, trying to figure out what was going on. After a bit, he was able to discern an object of immense power not too far from where he was. "So that must be what's got everyone riled up... It's sending out very odd energy..."
After a bit, Zynar could feel something moving towards him. "Human sized, at least. And... it's coming this way." When whatever it was fell, Zynar saw it coming and put his arms out to catch whoever or whatever it was.

Zynar followed Falana, walking around objects as if he were completely capable of sight. "Well..."
about thirteen years before the current date, Zynar was in the combat training room, fighting a particularly fierce opponent. Zynars weapon was a pair of arm blades. The knives were a thing of beauty: elegantly curved, decorative, and fully functional.
The opponent, another person who was undergoing the same rigorous training and experimental program as Zynar, was Zynar's senior by about eight years. Armed with a trident, the man lunged at Zynar.
Smirking, Zynar flipped his blades around so the longer side of the curve, which was supposed to be pointed down towards his elbow, instead curved bast the rest of his hand. Using one of the decorative curves on each blade, he caught the trident by the arms which branched out from the main pole. Locking eyes with his opponent, Zynar swung his leg behind the man's legs and knocked him down.
Zynar didn't take something into consideration, for he woke up later in a medical room, unable to see. His opponent had yanked hard enough on the trident going down that Zynar wound up falling on it, two prongs rendering him eyeless before the trident tilted and fell out of the way.
Zynar spoke as he walked, telling the story with a feeling of indifference, like it had happened to someone else instead of him.
