The main forums are considerably more chaotic than guilds, though. It's not the absolute control that they've lead you to believe it is; quite the opposite, I've threatened moderators in order to get things done before. You just have to have a big enough bargaining chip.

Anything in the terms of service that you could hold against them. If you can prove that they've screwed up, you could get them de-modded. The best use of this is to prevent them from banning you or deleting something. Also, any sort of information that users aren't supposed to have. I know the mod system inside and out, though users aren't supposed to know how it works. If mods know that you know this, it makes them very uneasy, as you could easily leak information that they don't want anyone to know. In the past week I've discovered about four glitches that are backdoors to different parts of the site. You just have to keep your eyes open. Gaia's coding is hardly immortal to even the most basic hacking concepts. Not to mention that the forum runs off of an old phpbb core, which you can easily get the original code for online. @JFM: I don't go in GD anymore. That's what 4chan is for. I stick to the important forums.
