The last couple of weeks have been crappy, but its nothing new. And now a friend is a complete b***h, but oh well. I can identify with crappy weeks. I'm sorry to hear that. *hugs*
Dammit. I'm still hungry. Damn burrito made it worse!at least you have food! All I have are my pokemon to keep my company crying I don't know!!! crying and taking over Japan in SW2: Empires is getting old...so I went back to old school...yellow version ftw ^_^

aretoo wanders through glomping all... he and Kusaragi are towards the end of a movie marathon... in order, so far: South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut; Zathura; Priscilla, Queen of the Desert; Monty Python and the Holy Grail; and Jeffrey. (We may or may not get to Star Trek: The Search For Spock) ^_^

Our jobs as moderators are to moderate the threads and to protect the people in them.
Next time the guild is in this kind of situation, we have to lock down the criminal thread until people are ready to talk again. Another alternative is to delete the offending posts.
I read what happened and it seemed to call out for a lock, but what's done is done, and we can only learn from the past. (Soooooo cheesy.)
Anyway, I'm off, I hope to see you guys later. ^_^
BTW...
This isn't some crappy, dumb guild...

Temporary bans are useful in some situations.

No. Moderators cannot ban other moderators of equal rank.
Example: Crew cannot ban members with rank "Crew" or higher.
