It's going to completely shatter once the usurper's ongoing affair with Phineas' latest wife is revealed to the public. Expect the scandal to reach the streets - and dear Phineas' ears, in less than a week."

"We won't be, because a portion of the profits for each job have been saved up for that very purpose. It might seem small on its own, but it certainly adds up." One of the many reasons why Ophelia was always boggled with paperwork was because of a very particular spending plan she had for the guild. Supplies, resources, maintaining the guild HQ, and everything else had a very set way of funding. A carefully placed balanced, if you will.

"To put it as simply as possible, I'll have my spies spread the rumor, plant a little evidence here and there, and of course arrange it to where Phineas arrives at the most convenient time. Maybe I'll write a letter of warning to the porker beforehand, get myself further into his good graces or something. Not sure if I will or not, though." Ophelia shrugged. "Still figuring out a few small details, but I can already tell the aftermath is going to be quite entertaining."

"If I need anything for this I'll let you know." Ophelia assured Kaistern as she finally moved on to get some paperwork done. She probably wouldn't involve Balthastern in this particular scheme if she could avoid it, but you never know. For the moment, though, she had plenty of lesser jobs for Kaistern and/or Balthazar to do if they so wished.

"I think I'm going to head into town for a bit. Do you want or need anything while I'm out?" Kaistern asked as he lingered by the door. If she didn't need him for the moment, then this was the perfect time to do a little research. It had become pretty damn clear to both of them that they needed to end this shared body thing for good, this time without the duel to the death part.

'Surprise present.' Kaistern left the room with a smile, weaving through the crowds once he got into town and headed straight for the library. It wouldn't have the volume of information the castle had, but hopefully it would at least supply some hints on where to look.

Meanwhile, Ophelia continued to plot and plan away - her main focus being on the paperwork she was trying to finish with and how she would expose the scandal she previously mentioned to Kaistern.

"Not exactly the most productive bout of research, but at least we know it's possible." Kaistern said to Balthazar as the browsed the marketplace, trying to find something Ophelia would like. And of course with their work, they weren't exactly worried about money.
'At the rate we're going, we've certainly got the time. How long as Ophelia been plotting now? I can't remember when we joined the guild.'
